If you’re a fan of great barbecue, this place is an absolute must-visit! The food is incredibly flavorful , perfectly grilled meats, every bite was a hit. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are not only friendly and welcoming but went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and service was fast despite the crowd. Highly recommended for anyone craving a memorable Turkish BBQ experience in Istanbul. We were coming to eat here almost daily during our stay. Will definitely be coming back in future!

If you're craving the ultimate BBQ experience in Istanbul then look no further! I visited this amazing Dürüm house after finding out about it through YouTuber Mark Weins! This place absolutely lived up to expectation and despite appearing initially chaotic these guys get the order to your table (or rather bench) very swiftly and the Meat Dürüm I ordered was easily one of the tastiest street foods I've ever eaten! The kitchen area whilst at first glance may seem like a jarring cacophony of noise and chaos is actually a very well oiled machine and these guys constantly have meat grilling on the skewers and an assembly line for the spices, salads and wraps before they are thrust into the grateful hands of hungry diners! This is Turkish street food at it's absolute best! Bravo!

One of the best wraps we had which was just down the road from the Grand Bazaar. Meat was super tasty, chillies were charred nicely with a nice kick and the staff were super friendly and very helpful getting our order and drinks. A must eat when in Istanbul!

The best thing we ate in Istanbul. We came here in our first day — AND it had to be our last meal as well before heading home. My husband had the biggest smile during our trip in this Durum shop. Everything was great, but the Adana? …. DIVINE

Well I loved this casual bit of perfection. Great food, lightening fast service, street seating, rapid turn over, fair prices.

Very good food — reasonably priced and great value for money. Even though it was hot outside and they cook over an open fire, it was pleasantly cool indoors. The menu was in Turkish, which it was easy to translate using Google Translate’s camera feature. They cook everything to order, and it doesn’t take long for the food to arrive at your table. All dishes are served with grilled hot red peppers (spicy), which go incredibly well with the food I had the liver kebab — it was spot on. The place was filled with locals, most of whom were enjoying their kebab with Ayran, so I decided to try it too — and it worked really well together The view was very pleasant as well. Definitely coming back and bringing friends

Ya know, I can’t pronounce the name of this place. But I WILL remember it. And I will find it AGAIN. When a place is memorable, it stays etched in your mind for good. A friend recommended that we come here. It was a fifteen minute walk from where we were. I was like, oh Jesus, since Istanbul is a place of much walking (which is great). Well, we came here and I tell you that the food is an absolute treasure. Come HUNGRY. Your stomach and taste buds will give you a fist bump. I’m picky about restaurants, but this one right here is the REAL DEAL. Come see for yourself!! Gather with friends or make some new friends!! Get in here!!

Had an amazing meal here! Tried the beef, chicken, and lamb, all served with fresh bread, salad, and spices. Easily enough for two, but I was super hungry and had finishing it all myself! The service was impressively quick, even though the place was packed after Friday prayer. The total came to 780 TL with a drink. Great value for the quality and portion size. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Not far from the Grand Bazaar, this shop was one of the stops on our cultural backstreets tour. This is where the locals eat and that was very obvious as we arrived at the tail end of the lunch rush to see the place quite crowded with folks who cleared out quickly to get back to work. Quite the organized chaos here with at least six or seven guys working the various stations of kebab prep including grilling, bread, veggies, spices and wrapping. Super nice folks who love the tourists. We had quite a bit to eat here including kebabs and roasted peppers (HOT!). When the eating was done, the manager/owner guy let us take a bunch of pictures and was happy for us to "ham it up" for some pictures "working" the grill. Hilarious. Great food, the kebab was tasty and the roasted pepper pretty much obliterated my tongue. It looked just like a sweet bell pepper we have in the States so it was unexpected. Yeah, it's not that. Wooo!
