Ya know, I can’t pronounce the name of this place. But I WILL remember it. And I will find it AGAIN. When a place is memorable, it stays etched in your mind for good. A friend recommended that we come here. It was a fifteen minute walk from where we were. I was like, oh Jesus, since Istanbul is a place of much walking (which is great). Well, we came here and I tell you that the food is an absolute treasure. Come HUNGRY. Your stomach and taste buds will give you a fist bump. I’m picky about restaurants, but this one right here is the REAL DEAL. Come see for yourself!! Gather with friends or make some new friends!! Get in here!!

friendly and food is delicious. reasonable price and mainly eat by local. just beware lot of cats waiting for free food. Tea is on the house free.

Genuinely the best food I had in turkey the chicken was perfectly cooked and had a good amount of flavour and the general quality of all ingredients in the wrap was phenomenal

Top of the top. Best tavuk kebab I’ve ever had in my life.. I went back 4 times during this trip. It will not be my last. Only thing is, ask to remove the coriander if you are not a fan of it. Even if you are, I felt that it didn’t compliment the dish. But, great job, wish this business success for a long time

Closed when we went there due to public holiday, but they had a little street stall set up not unlike south East Asian countries. Well priced and good quality fresh food.

Really good kebabs! Freshly cooked right in front of you, well spiced and not dry at all. I wouldn’t say it’s the cleanest spot but the staff were really friendly. We went on a Sunday at around 2pm and it was open. Not sure if the opening hours need to be updated or it was a random one off. I imagine it’s an extremely busy place on other days though.

Probably one of the highlights of my visit to Istanbul. This kebab store is located in a tourist area (Grand Bazaar) but the food quality is great, full of locals (We were probably the only tourists at the time), and very friendly staff. We had the adana and şiş, and both were delicious. The grilled chilli is also delicious and spicy enough for our Indonesian tongues. I will definitely come back here if I return to Istanbul.

Not far from the Grand Bazaar, this shop was one of the stops on our cultural backstreets tour. This is where the locals eat and that was very obvious as we arrived at the tail end of the lunch rush to see the place quite crowded with folks who cleared out quickly to get back to work. Quite the organized chaos here with at least six or seven guys working the various stations of kebab prep including grilling, bread, veggies, spices and wrapping. Super nice folks who love the tourists. We had quite a bit to eat here including kebabs and roasted peppers (HOT!). When the eating was done, the manager/owner guy let us take a bunch of pictures and was happy for us to "ham it up" for some pictures "working" the grill. Hilarious. Great food, the kebab was tasty and the roasted pepper pretty much obliterated my tongue. It looked just like a sweet bell pepper we have in the States so it was unexpected. Yeah, it's not that. Wooo!
