I had an amazing experience at this resort in Guam. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to unwind. The resort’s beachfront location was unbeatable, and I loved being so close to the ocean. One of my favorite moments was simply sitting on the balcony with the door open, listening to the soothing sound of waves below. The resort also offered fantastic amenities, including live entertainment every night, which added a fun and vibrant touch to the evenings. There were food and shopping centers conveniently located inside, as well as coffee shops and a spa, making it easy to enjoy everything without leaving the property.

I absolutely loved having a staycation & I recommend all my Guam locals to have a staycation here. I love that you can use the pools for both Dusit Thani & Dusit Beach. I personally loved how friendly the staff at the front desk was and the view was amazing from my room. The sunset views were so beautiful and I absolutely loved it. However, the bad thing about the room is how you can hear everything going on in the hallway and there were a lot of angry parents & kids when I stayed.

We had a wonderful time in here. Room was clean and cozy and bed was so soft. Every worker in there was so kind and location was good.|However the pool water is little bit dirty when people are crowd. And swimming vest was not enough for everyone. ||Anyway i had a great time.

We arrived at 4am and paid a reasonable fee to access our rooms straightaway but we also received an upgrade from the very helpful receptionist. The rooms are very comfortable with 2 Queen beds which was brilliant for a single person. The hotel is unusual in that it is built over and within a mall so you can browse fancy shops without leaving the building. Also you have use of a sister hotel next door with lots of different restaurants and eateries which you can allocate to your room without problem. Also the hotel fronts on to the beach with an array of paddle boards, canoes surfboards Available. Plenty of pool facilities for kids but best avoided if you crave peace and quiet on your vacations. Spent most of my time in the Tabu beach bar with good selection of beer and some quality food. Thanks to Alessia(name ?) and Delilah for looking after my needs so well. Four days well spent 😍😍

Hafa Adai!!||We stayed at Dusit Beach Resort from October 8-27, 2024. Primarily to visit family. I have to say our experience was excellent. The staff from Front Desk, housekeeping, concierge, Palm cafe and Palm Bar were friendly, courteous, polite, warm and hospitable in every way!!!!||We purchased a breakfast package with our accommodations, and I have to compliment Rosina (Asst for Palm Cafe), the Hostess line of ladies, the restaurant staff, chef and Earl Manager/Director of Food Services made us feel at home and special!!! I can’t forget Mayflor in housekeeping, she took care of our room and did an excellent job!! | |Rosina, Mikey, Baldwin, Luna, Rolino, Chef Ben. Works in Palm Cafe and were so gracious to us. The staff in its entirety were great! I’m sorry I wish I would have gather every name, ALL were wonderful!! ||My husband and I are so thankful!!! ||One item we think is important and needs attending, the ice machines on many floors needs maintenance or replacement…. We had to go find ice many times. That’s it! Otherwise, great visit & and staff!!! ||D&G 1104

The staff was not as accommodating. There was a lack of care in issues that we brought to their attention. We booked an online reservation and was not given an option to select the military rate. Since there was one room left, we booked it and brought it to their attention to the staff at the front desk. ||They explained that the military rate is toggled on and off during high peak times or based on hotel room availability. They were also unwilling to adjust our rate to give the military discount.||We asked for the manager to reconsider and not only was the idea rejected, he would not come out to meet with us. How is this ethical to only provide a military discount when the hotel feels like it? ||2nd bad experience: We had to call maintenance 3 times for our AC in the room because it was not getting cool enough. On the 3rd time, the maintenance person walked in, said nothing was wrong and walked out without saying another word. The only positive was that they moved us to a different room on the last night. Our other family members room was comfortable and cool without issue. ||3rd bad experience: We ate at Aqua for breakfast. A staff member spilled hot coffee on me and did not so much as offer a napkin to help me clean up my clothing. ||I cannot recommend this hotel after this experience.

Hotel service is excellent, Friendly Staff from Hotel Reception to the restaurant. Place is one of the best location, easy access to duty free shops and shopping area, also there are many restaurant around the area. I will be staying in this hotel again when I travel back to Guam

Even if you do nothing else this hotel has it all! There was live music most nights, window shopping, and all the water activities you could ask for. When I wasn't at the beach I had my balcony open and listening to the beach. It was amazing and would highly recommend for all ages.

Yelp
I stayed here for 70 nights during the summer. The rooms were pretty large, clean, but not much done to it since it was bought from Outrigger a while ago. The bathroom was a little busted up and the bidet had a mind of its own as it freezes up every time you have to pull your key and leave the room. I had to get a permanent key to keep in the slot to prevent the bidet from resetting. The housekeeping staff continuously was taking my key until I put a note saying don't take my key. The housekeeping staff was hit or miss with the cleaning and restocking the supplies. The pool and beach area is nice but there was a bad smell near the towel borrow and return area. The kids play pool looked fun for the smaller kids. There wasn't any access from Dusit beach hotel to Dusit Thani hotel pool areas but recently they fixed the access issue. The parking here is terrible, only a few parking stalls and the stalls are small, tight corners, one way access, and pillers in all the wrong areas. Two of my coworkers crashed their rentals in the parking structure. You can use the Dusit Thani parking structure which had many more stalls but then you needed to walk through the Dusit place or on the outside between Dusit Thani and Dusit beach hotel and it got slippery when it rained. The water dispenser on the floor started off fine but then broke and was dispensing unfiltered water and almost caused my coworkers to get sick. They replaced it with a high tech one later and it was pretty good as long as it stays maintained. The ice machines on each were broken, removed, or sketchy so I ended up not using them at all. The front desk personnel were nice and didn't have any problems with them. We got to join a lunch meeting in one of the conference rooms and the food was excellent. The Dusit gold loyalty program was a joke. I think I got a total of $1 discount from being a member, couldn't get a member number as their system was down, and didn't get any nights stayed either. There is a lot of good with this hotel but lots of not so good but overall, I enjoyed my stay. Would I stay here again? Yes. Is it my first choice? Absolutely, not. Westin is now my first choice in Guam followed by Tsubaki tower, Nikko, and then maybe Dusit beach.

Yelp
The Dusit is my second favorite hotel in Guam. They have nice rooms with great views, fantastic pools and beach access, and good proximity to food and other attractions. My only complaint is that the hotels are starting to get a bit tired and are due for a renovation. Even a new coat of paint would make a big difference. All in all, this is a solid choice for staying in the Tumon Bay area.

Yelp
Think twice before spending your hard earned money to stay here. Booked a staycation to be able to enjoy a function being held in the area so we checked in a day before the event and booked for 2 nights. Decided to splurge to get a nice room with ocean view. When we got into the room it was the furthest room from the ocean and the view was of a badly deteriorating rooftop of an adjoining building and if we lean out over the tiny balcony we can see the ocean. Mind you it's about a grand to stay here for 2 days as they advertise online a picture of a beautiful room with a beautiful view and we didn't get that. We asked for a room with a better view considering the price we paid to get that and we were moved to another room just to be put on the same north side of the building and just a few rooms closer to the water the view was not much better. The safe in the room does not work, some lighting in the room does not work, the shower water just shut off on me mid shower, the sofa is hard as shiii, the bed is not comfortable, and the ac in the bedroom is not very cold at all, making it hard to sleep. It was not a good night sleep. Speaking of sleep on the second night of the stay someone came into the room at 0230. I heard the door opening and I shook my husband to get up. My heart is racing thinking who is coming in and we are not dressed. My husband yelled out and someone said "sorry, wrong room". Who the f--k has a room key and just strolls in at 0230 and then after frightening us out of our sleep just says , sorry??? I was thinking the workers must use their keys to slip into vacant rooms to sleep or fk off. I got up, got dressed and called the front desk. The phone didn't work. I could not reach anyone on the room phone because none of the numbers were programmed correctly. I looked at all the paperwork we were given at check in and no number to the front desk. I had to google the number on my own phone to call the front desk. It's 0430 and I'm still awake and now can't sleep at all. I was told it was a manager that entered our room and he made a mistake and entered the wrong room. Again I'm dumbfounded as to the practice that it's normal here that a manager would enter a room without knocking, calling or even stating who he is and what he is doing at 0230 am. I got a very disturbing feeling in my gut that maybe he does this on a regular and enters rooms while people are sleeping. I don't know who this person is, what is his criminal background. Being a victim of sexual assault in the past this did not sit well with me and to say the least has me traumatized. There are many children that stay here and I'm concerned. So much for a staycation. I will not return here again. Oh and if you want to relax on the beach considering this is the "beach resort", you have to pay $35.00 to be able to rent chairs. For the price we are paying, that should be included to be able to enjoy the beach.

Yelp
This hotel used to be The Outrigger and was purchased by Dusit after they completed their Hotel across the street. It shows its age a little as not everything is up to Dusit Thani standards yet but the service is amazing as always. Irene the concierge got me a box, tape, scissors, and all the forms to mail a package back to the states when I asked where the closest post office was. I've stayed at several Dusit Thani properties around the globe and their customer service always sets them apart. Could not recommend more.

Yelp
We hit up the Lobby Lounge of the Dusit Beach Resort this evening. It's a nice, chill, laid-back place with live music on the weekends. Vibe is great, with open seating and Signature Cocktails. There's also a pupu menu to order off of.

Yelp
I was very surprised and not prepared to give a 2 star for the Dusit. It's a gorgeous building and always looks well kept. This review begins with check in. We had our room booked and called about early check-in. They said that they were incredibly busy and were unable to promise a early check-in, which is 100% perfectly fine. So we went at the regular check-in time at 3:00 pm. It was far from ready, an hour and a half passed until we finally got to get our room. This was upsetting due to the fact we only stayed a night and it was already cut down to under 24 hours for that price. Now moving on to the room. We first noticed how hot and humid it was. We checked the AC and it was on. Under the vent where the AC was barely working, was a constant drip of water down the wall. Our whole stay was very humid. There was remaining trash from past visitors which gave the evidence of a rushed cleaning. There was also snot like remains on the bathroom wall. I have stayed at this hotel before and was very pleased, just not on this occasion.

Yelp
Formerly the Guam Outrigger Hotel, this is now the "new" Dusit Beach Resort (not to be confused with the Dusit Thani Hotel next door). Think of this as the "budget" Dusit stay. I've been here now for six days and having only seen the inside of my accommodations I can only speak of that and not the entire hotel amenities and services. The room itself is pleasing. Mine had two queen sized beds, beautiful oceanfront view of Tumon Bay as well as the poolside below. A bidet for the added win as well as automatic shades on the balcony and window. My room was fairly clean however the first night I found two baby roaches crawling around in the bathroom. My guess is that they came up the floor drain (which I quickly covered up by placing the trash can over it). After those critters, I didn't see any more. Ordinarily I'd eek out after finding insects but this is Guam and the hotels have been empty for a bit of time. Also discovering that the wall as are a bit thin as "neighbors" moved in 3 days ago and either the walls are super thin or they are just naturally loud talkers. Currently this is Guam's quarantine hotel for all travelers landing on Guam (2020-2021). If this hotel is filled, overflow will go to the Dusit Thani Hotel. What this means for guests is that there will be no housekeeping service or room services outside of the allotted times of 10-12/7-9pm at which time friends and family can drop off supplies/food to National Guard personnel and they will deliver to your room. If you happen to travel to Guam during the pandemic, high chance you will be quarantined here for a minimum six days but could possibly stay here up to 10,12 or the full 14 days of imposed government quarantine. If you do anticipate staying here, meals will be provided for free (breakfast, lunch and dinner). It's a unpredictable what you'll get for meals (it's actually another separate Yelp review if possible). Let's just say, cooks, vendors or options have changed and the quality of food is dismal. For example, vegetarian options mean steamed canned/frozen vegetables that are waterlogged and tasteless with a thin slab or unseasoned tofu as a protein source. Call some friends/family and have them drop you off food or download Grub and Grab and order online. Since the buyout from Dusit and COVID-19 pandemic, this hotel's other services (restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, lobby entertainment) have come to a screeching halt. Typically this would be a hotel stay upwards to $300-$350 per night. Because the circumstances of this stay is quite unusual I'll overlook the two baby roaches and even the possibly thin walls and err on the side of gratitude for the awesome oceanfront views, bidet and free meals. Dusit is synonymous with hospitality & service and with that I will end this here. *Thank you to the Guam National Guardsmen who work here with great enthusiasm and optimism!

Yelp
This is a 5 star resort. I did not stay here by choice though. Although under different circumstances I would choose to stay here. But was forced to stay here for a fourteen day quarantine by the island of Guam. The place is luxurious and very accommodating. The Island does provide you while in quarantine 3 meals a day. Although they try their best it's mostly just spam and rice. I'll have to return to Guam and try their resort under different circumstances in order to give a full 5 star review

Yelp
Being in quarantine sucks, I get it, but it's for the safety of the local population and I don't understand why there's such pushback. Especially when you are quarantining for the first six days in a great hotel whose rooms go for $300 nightly. The former Outrigger Guam was taken over by Dusit Thani in June 2020, and is currently being used by the government of Guam as a quarantine facility. After being processed by Customs and the National Guard at the airport, you are taken directly by bus to the hotel. Once there, the Guard continues the hotel registration process - and all of them were very friendly and accommodating. You cannot leave your room for six days, but you can have friends or family drop items to delivered to your hotel room. After 6 days you can be tested and finish the rest of the 14-day quarantine at home. The room itself is totally vacation worthy - two queen sized beds, fancy bidet style toilet, and a gorgeous view of Tumon Bay. They could stick you on the mauka side, you know. But the government t is trying to make the best out of a bad situation that is not of their making. So enjoy the beautiful view and delicious meals (large portions), do some remote working or binge some Netflix or Prime videos, get some online yoga or Zumba in -- and please please be nice and appreciative to the hardworking Guardsmen and women who are doing the duties of hotel staff - all to keep your family and friends on island safe.

Yelp
This place was clearly built only to appear nice. The staff was very friendly, your ocean view is incredible (unless you have a North facing room), and the live music is great. With high end stores, expensive decorations and great amenities this resort appears to be perfect. However the niceness ends at your room. The showers are old and rusty. The beds are terribly uncomfortable with sheets that don't even cover the entire mattress. The TV does not work. The electrical switches along the walls are not properly wired so they don't control the room correctly. You need to place your key card in a spot on the wall just for power to stay on (good luck if your group doesn't stay together). Restaurant/bar/meals are embarrassingly expensive. Truly a hotel built to last 10 years before being forgotten about. The perfect hotel for people who want to spend a lot of money and don't care about where they sleep.
