Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri Bangkok

Loved the room, very ideal for long-staying guests. Lot of space to move around, and very close to the BTS station. Thank you to all the staff especially the very helpfull bellboy, Khun Keng, who was very nice to chat with and had given very useful recommendations. Will surely come back again.

Relaxing in the city, close to nature, you have to come to Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok. A beautiful accommodation, good location in the heart of the city, near BTS Ratchadamri and leading shopping malls such as Central World and Siam Paragon. The atmosphere inside the hotel is shady, beautiful and private.||🔸 We stayed in the one bed room premium suite. The room was very spacious, divided into a bedroom, living room, and a small kitchen area. There was a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the green view of the Royal Turf club and the trains passing by.||🔸 Another highlight here is the unique lagoon pool with a beautiful waterfall curtain and lush green trees surrounding the pool. It feels like you are swimming in a waterfall cave. You can play for as long as you want without worrying about the heat.||🔸 The food is delicious every meal. We ate at Dusit Gourmet restaurant. There are many menus to choose from, both Thai and Italian. breakfast has both buffet and A La Carte. Every menu is good.||🔸 There is a fitness center with a variety of exercise equipment. Health-conscious people will love it.||🔸 There is a play corner for children to enjoy. ||This trip is considered a great family vacation in the city. If anyone is looking for a place to stay for a relaxing stacaytion, a good location, easy to travel for a full vacation. I recommend this place

This accommodation has definitely let the brand down. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for one week. The service in general is poor, particularly the breakfast, and despite mentioning this to the manager there was no feedback or explanation. |Pros|- large rooms|- comfy beds|- polite staff |- location , near BTS||Cons|- service at breakfast abysmal |- staff at restaurant were apparently trainees ( mentioned by asst manager) and really couldn’t set tables properly not get the breakfast order correct, including the kitchen staff|- room cleaning staff not refilling toiletries and had to be called|- bathroom only had two small spot lights|- very dated and not modernised at all ||The cons may not seem that relevant but when you are booking at 5- star prices you expect a high level of accommodation and service and unfortunately, this was not delivered by this hotel. ||Review is not aimed at the staff because they do work very hard but management needs to take responsibility.

We book the 2 bedroom suite for 12 nights. -Location was great - only 10’ walking from Central World shopping mall. - The team was wonderful. During our stay , Bangkok suffered from the historic earthquake and everyone in the team did their best to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. They accommodate our early check in and late check our request without question ask. - Room was old ( yes it is ) look like something from 1999 and not as “luxury” as shown in the photo but the service attitude compensate that. **** small update : it’s been 1 month and 1 week since we check out but our security deposit is still pending. This is a minus point. Still have to follow up with them for the refund. However , overall , it was a lovely stay.

The Dusit Residences is in great central location but nicely situated on a quieter side street. Rooms are nice, particularly the balconies. But the staff stand out here - really helpful, friendly. Many hotels in Bangkok have high turnover but the staff here has been consistent and very good, particularly in the cafe. Always great service with a smile.

The hotel wasn’t the same condition as in the photos when booking. It stinks the moment you walk in the door to the lobby, the lifts are old and smelly, and the rooms are a disaster. The air conditioner doesn’t work properly and makes a lot of noise, the room smells of damp and mold because there is actually damp and mold on the bottom of the walls. The bed is about 20 years old and has accommodated 1000 guests and needs to be replaced just like my back and neck after 1 night’s sleep. Save your money and health and book a more modern hotel

- Location: The location of the Dusit Suites is near the Ratchadamri Station, Lumphini Park, and many great places to have food. Even with the location, noise was not a problem at all if the windows are closed. Even if the windows were open, the main problem would be heat. The Ratchadamri BTS station is great because it’s not busy, so you don’t have to worry about getting squashed in the crowd. - Amenities: There is an incredible pool on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The majority of the pool is in the shade but still completely outside. The pool was very clean and didn’t have lots of leaves, sticks, rocks, or anything. There were only 2 flowers in the pool, which would be quite hard to maintain, I would imagine. Wi-Fi was good, nothing special but perfectly fine and I could live with it, the speed was about 50 megabits per second download and upload. - Food: The breakfast food is very nice, there is pancakes, eggs, omelettes, french toast and way more. They have coffee and the food is completely free and tastes incredible, getting breakfast downstairs there is a must for everyone who goes to the hotel. They don’t only have breakfast, they also have lunch and dinner as well, there are plenty of drinks and the staff at the restaurant are very nice. - Rooms: The 2-bedroom superior suite was absolutely incredible, and the photos made it look bad because the rooms were really nice and had great air conditioning and amenities. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Bangkok, especially if you’re going for a long trip and want a quiet hotel. The beds were very comfortable and easy to fall asleep in, which is very good because a lot of hotels have uncomfortable beds. Also, the beds were very big as well. - Service: Room cleaners are very polite and do a very good job at cleaning the rooms. People at the counter are very nice and carry your bags up to the room for you, which is really good when you have jet lag or are just tired. All the staff are just so nice, polite, and genuinely care about the customer, which really makes me happy.

We were first drawn to the Dusit Suites due to its convenient location close to a major shopping area and a mere 100 metre walk to a Skytrain Station. Since that first visit we have become regular guests. The apartments are excellent and well maintained being of a good size, light, airy and well equipped and the complex is complimented by the restaurant, gym and pool facilities. The highlight of our visit is represented by the Dusit staff who are highly professional as well as gracious, friendly, helpful and are always willing to put themselves out to ensure that our stay is comfortable and relaxing one. The excellent rating I have given the Dusit Suites is fully deserved and applies to every element of the operation.
