Jogja Village

We stayed for three nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel feels like an oasis in the middle of the city. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is peaceful. Regarding the comments about hot water issues, we didn’t have any problems — it takes a little while to come out, but there is hot water. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the bed was large. A highly recommended place.

We booked this hotel based on the excellent reviews it has had. However, looking at the pictures we were not 100% sure. The favorable rating is absolutely justified. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The mattress is firm but good. Water pressure for the shower was excellent. The swimming pool was an unexpected bonus, great to relax in the middle of the city. Service was superb, breakfast simple but excellent. Rooms are air-conditioned and the beds have mosquito nets. Absolutely recommended this hotel (for the price!!).

Jogja village was a great stay. We appreciated the clean, friendly and relaxing environment. We had come from the Bali Ritz, and while this hotel is not in the same league, we were very impressed. The restaurant staff were incredible- so kind and accommodating. Laundry service was excellent and very affordable. Do not hesitate to stay here- it was fabulous!

Perfect location for excellent shops and restaurants. The setting for the hotel is lovely. With a great swimming pool set in very attractive gardens to relax in The deluxe rooms are pleasant and attractively designed, but dark without the doors to the balcony open. The bathroom is basic, but with authentic tiling, unfortunately the outdated shower let the room down. The superior room is small and dark with a small rundown bathroom which needs updating. The terrace is pleasant to sit out on. The cleaning of the rooms was poor and needed to be repeated to reach an acceptable standard. Even then dark hairs were left on the bottles and lots of dust on the fixtures and fittings. The breakfast is an acceptable standard. Overall I would be very happy to stay in the deluxe room again if travelling to this area.

We had wonderful time at our two day get away! As you enter, you right away transformed from busy city life to an oasis with lots of greenery, lower temperatures and fresh air. Interior of the common spaces and rooms is as promised on photos, beautiful and with traditional architecture and details. It was only a few other guests even though we were mud July (or it felt like it) so place felt quite and peaceful. I enjoyed swimming before breakfast and very helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious and on day we’re checking out and departing early they prepared us breakfast to go even though it was 5am 🥹😍 Thank you very much! 🙏😌 Location is a bit away from the central street, but easily reachable and I was glad for it. Also there a few very nice coffee shops around corner worth exploring!

Outstanding! We kept extending our stay here as everything was perfect. Such friendly staff, good food and beautiful, relaxing setting.

Very old place... was probably great in its day.. staff were lovely and the pool is really nice. My room was downstairs and very dark The sheets and pillows smelt of old water. The lamp at the side of the bed was broken and the other one's switch was broken. Hot water took 10 minutes to become hot.. i was not well when I was there so had to spend a lot of time in the room so that didn't help.
