We have been to this Inn on three separate occasions. Each visit has been uniquely peaceful, profoundly interesting and a quaint location to catch up with family who met there from three different states. The owners are especially charming and full of information on the area. A big shout out to Pat and Bob for your hospitality and welcoming spirit. The Phoenix Stone's

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dutch Colonial Inn. The room was very comfortable, location is very convenient, and Bob and Pat are the ultimate host/hostess. Breakfast was delicious, and they offered excellent suggestions for our stay in Holland and beyond. Would highly recommend.

Best place to stay in Holland. My sister and I stayed early May for the Tulip Festival. Beautiful B&B. Delicious breakfast and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed meeting the travelers at breakfast with great conversation.

This was my husband and I first experience with a Bed and Breakfast. We picked the perfect place! Pat and Bob are the loveliest host. They made us feel right at home and we really enjoyed talking with them, about their family, how the Inn started and the area of Holland. In the morning , Pat made the most delicious breakfast and they both spent time talking with us and sharing memories. They are absolutely the sweetest couple. Their home is so beautiful and the way they have it decorated for Christmas is stunning. It was like being in a Hallmark home at Christmas. All the rooms were lovely. We stayed in the Garden room that had a jacuzzi and an electric fireplace. The bed was so comfortable and the room was decorated beautifully! We cannot wait to go back and we would highly recommend the Dutch Colonial Bed and Breakfast Inn. Thank you Pat and Bob for the perfect stay!!!

My first experience at a bed and breakfast, and I couldn’t has asked for a better one. Hosted by a lovely couple, Pat and Bob, the Dutch Colonial Inn is a wonderful place to stay, especially near Christmas as they boast an extremely extensive collection of Christmas decorations. We stayed in the Tulip Suite, which is an absolutely incredible room with a whirlpool tub, a gas fireplace, and a lofted bedroom. Absolutely worth the cost. Pat hosted us for breakfast the next morning, which was so delicious, and talked with us about her family and Holland. We felt so welcomed, and really appreciated her thoughtfulness and conversation. While we were only staying for the night on our way to see the state capitol in Lansing, our stay here was definitely the highlight of our trip for me. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Western Michigan, you can’t do better than a night at the Dutch Colonial Inn.

We loved our stay at the Dutch Colonial Inn! Bob and Pat are wonderful hosts. Pat made us a delicious homemade breakfast with fresh local ingredients. Beautiful rooms with antiques and traditional home-style decor. Convenient location to town and close to Centennial Park. Hope to stay there again.

My sister and I decided to stay in a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel and we were not disappointed. This inn is delightful, and we had a relaxing stay. Nancy was taking care of business while the owner's were on holiday, and she was very accommodating to our dietary needs and over all contentment.|We would absolutely stay here again when we're in the area.|Now, with that being said, my only criticism, and this is to everyone's personal taste, but the amount of kitsch and silk flowers EVERYWHERE really dates the inn. Just because there is space on the floor or table top, doesn't mean something has to be put there. For me, I like a clutter free bathroom, but with all the silk flowers and tchotchkes, it makes me feel like everything is a dust collector.

Yelp
My daughters and I had a perfect stay at the Dutch Colonial Inn. A quick getaway for us and didn't expect such outstanding hospitality. Natalie was a super host and treated us like family. Breakfast was delicious and I almost wanted to stay to see what was for lunch! Thank you for guiding us to the parks and shops and good food in town. Definitely be returning to Holland all because of our stay at your inn. Regards

Yelp
After booking with the Dutch Colonial my husband and I were informed that our reservation was cancelled because they double booked us. The owner of the Dutch Colonial went above and beyond to make up for the mishap. They found us another bed and breakfast that recently had a cancellation and paid for one night of our stay and had a treat waiting for us at the other B & B. It was not an ideal situation but their actions speak greatly about the business. Although we did not have the chance to stay at the Dutch Colonial, we believe they will treat you very well as they did with us!

Yelp
We stayed two nights at this B&B in what is considered the "off season" in Holland, so we were the only guests both nights. We stayed in the 'cozy corner" room which really described this room well. The owners Pat and Bob could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Besides the nice room we stayed in, they have an amazing common room upstairs (where the rooms are) that we used in the early morning and evening. As far as the second "B" the breakfasts were amazing. Holland is a great place to visit and when you go, definitely stay at the Dutch Colonial Inn.

Yelp
Had a recent stay, and this home was lovely as were its owners. Very clean, the Tulip Suite where we stayed was adorable. Lots of small things made the owners/staff seem very thoughtful. Excellent breakfast, and Holland is a beautiful town for a short visit. I would definitely recommend this B&B to a friend.

Yelp
I did not stay at the Colonial Inn, but I had made a reservation for my mom and stepdad to stay there for their 5 year anniversary. 3 weeks ago, my stepdad passed away unexpectedly so I had to call and cancel the reservation. I did not know about the 10-day cancellation policy because nothing was ever sent to me after I made the reservation, not even a confirmation email. I had to work up to calling to cancel, because it was another finality of my stepdad's passing. When I called and said I had to cancel the reservation because my stepdad had died, the owner Pat said, "And you're just calling me now?" She was very rude throughout the entire conversation. Her demeanor was cold and extremely callous and she showed absolutely no compassion whatsoever toward this very sensitive situation. I would not EVER recommend staying at this B&B after the way I was spoken to and treated in this situation.
