This is the best place I’ve ever visited. I was a little disappointed though. I was originally going to have the Meatball Sub, but they’re out of meatballs. So I just ordered the Roost Beef Sandwich Combo ( with chips and a drink). The Sandwich was so good. I was able to get some Ice Cream. I bought myself some Strawberry Ice Cream with sprinkles. It was so delicious. I can’t wait to go back there!

Still 5 stars. Today got coffee cake muffins. Delightful. Great prices and food. I wanted a small ice cream but got what I would call a large. Should've asked for baby cone. Had to throw some away. Sorry.

Thanks for an excellent visit today! All the staff is friendly and helpful. Great selection of baked goods and hot meals. There's a cute little dining room to sit down and eat. Our sandwiches were yummy and your Boston creme doughnuts are divine. We picked up some fresh rolls too and they smell so good! Reasonably priced, great selection, and a delight to visit. It was real busy & that says a lot too. Thank you for a nice experience. We'll be back soon!

They have good stuff but…….the cookies are burnt now, used to be soft and good. They should have pot roast all weekend instead of just Fridays when everyone works and can’t get there to get it. They run out of stuff too fast. Why be open if you have 1/4 of your menu to order a couple hours before you close, just close earlier or make more food.

Very busy before the holidays. Fresh meat and food available. A little pricey but good. The lines moved quickly. Delicious cakes, cookies and pies.Nice hot meals available and deli selections.

Google never updated when closed. Says open so I can’t tell you how many times we drive 1/2 hour to go and it’s closed. Hastings butcher shop about 3 miles away; went here this time. Real nice meat cuts

Great food and service. My husband told me he would marry me again if I learn to make brown gravy just like they serve!

Yelp
Everything they have at the Dutch Country Market is awesome! I've had their sandwiches(perfect) have taken stuff home from there meats, salads, etc. We love everything they carry & let's not forget their desserts The Best!

Yelp
It's amish run. Has some great baked goods, donuts, lunch meats and hot foods. Not as big as most Amish markets. Actually it's rather small but has a decent variety of food stuff. A furniture store is across the parking lot if that's your thing.

Yelp
We saw this place online and felt we had to check it out while in the area. We arrived a little before noon on a Friday and could tell by the parking lot that this was the place to be. We took one of only two spots available. We were initially not sure which door to enter but after entering saw that it did not really matter. The baked goods area is on the left which is the door we entered. As you walk towards the other entrance you pass by the meat department and reach the deli area. They have a lot of baked goods, meat, cheese, prepared salads, etc. We saw two lines, one for the deli counter and one for the cash register. We stood in line for the cash register and grabbed a paper menu. My wife decided to get a ham and swiss sandwich and I thought I would try the meatball sub. We both wanted to try the mac and cheese so we each ordered a container of that. When we were next in line, we stepped up to the counter and placed our order. We were also pleased that we could pay right there without waiting in line for the other register as well. We could see there was also a dining area where you can sit and eat which had spaces blocked off for social distancing and several people sitting and eating. We decided to return to our car to eat our food. The mac and cheese was very tasty, creamy and cheesy but my wife commented that the macaroni was really broken up and not firm as if it was overcooked. My meatball sub really hit the spot, I wish I had taken a picture. It was a little messy when unwrapping it. My wife did not really enjoy her sandwich because she said the bun was soggy. It was a hot ham and cheese and she just ate some of the ham and cheese and threw out the bun - she is not someone who normally eats hot sandwiches for this reason so keep that in mind - they did not offer cold meat sandwiches so she took what she could get. Overall, the food was tasty, the prices reasonable and I thought this was a pretty awesome hidden gem.

Yelp
That was incredibly disappointing. They are only open three days a week but yet there was nothing to get! The market lady told me that they clean their bakery cases out on Saturday so they take everything out which means that there's absolutely nothing in the bakery. The only thing they sell is some OLD baked boxed up stuff. Who wants that?? I expect so much better from Dutch places. This was the worst I have seen. Truly shocked by the laziness. Don't bother going. I was really looking forward to this place. Terrible.

Yelp
Aloha or should I say Guten Tag! Great German market just north of Maryland in Delaware off of Hwy 13. Their home-made everything is truly wonderful. We had the chip beef, pork, crab soup, potato salad & chicken pot pie as well as tasted a bunch of "freebies" around the shop, all very yummy. We brought back sausages, smoked ham & chops to make chucrute. Hard to find this type of food in Hawaii. Glad we made the trek up the 13 & you should too. Enjoy!

Yelp
If you have been to an Amish market before you kinda know you you are going to expect with this place, but if you have or if you haven't Imma just run through all the stuff they have packed into this little joint and why it's well worth the trip. They have furniture, jams and jellies, fresh pickled items, fresh cooked in house bbq (that you can eat right there), fresh bread, fresh bakery items, fantastic ice cream, pies, cakes, and I think that is it lol, all that to say I probably missed something because of how much they have here. Absolutely worth a trip super cool little place with a lot of stuff and really good food!

Yelp
I had great expectations for this place, and it sure was doing a brisk business! I was expecting a delicious fresh roast turkey sandwich, but the turkey was some processed "spongey" type. My husband liked his brisket tho. Otherwise, the shelves were full of candy and stuff that seems like it was bought wholesale and repackaged to look cutesy/Amish. Although there is a bakery, this seemed to be the case also with the chocolate chip cookies - nothing special or home baked about them. It seemed rather gimmicky - and nothing special. The butcher counter was doing a brisk business.

Yelp
I bet the food is good, but after standing in a line for 10-15 minutes then being told I needed to be in the other line that didn't exist when I entered that was five feet away, I waited another 10 minutes and gave up because there went my 30 minutes for lunch. I was at that other, "proper", counter for several minutes at first and no one was at the counter to take an order. If you can't order lunch from one line, you might want to have proper signage. You can have the best food in the world, but if your service sucks it means nothing. I won't be attempting to eat there again.

Yelp
What a cool Lancaster county style, Market. They have awesome baked goods and the deli sandwiches looked very good and by the looks of the long line of people waiting, the sandwiches are worth the wait. I picked up a large jar of jalapeno-pickled eggs which I enjoy with pretzels. It is hard to find pickled eggs this good anywhere else. This store has an amazing selection of candies and cheese too. It is located behind Janosik's furniture warehouse.

Yelp
Been here several times and never a disappointment probably due to the fact it is run by the Amish and they have an awesome work ethic and know how to get it right for the customer! Roast beef and ham sandwiches are fresh and the best there is,this is not a new business and they have been here for years and they have many choices to suite everyone's taste always busy, you can eat in or take out we usually eat in and enjoy the great pictures on the wall that are available for purchase, after you are done you can treat yourself to HERSHEY'S hand dipped ice cream which we always seem to participate in. Stop by check it out and we think it will be well worth your time.

Yelp
Best ham and cheese sandwiches and sweet pepper relish! I've been eatting their food since I was a little girl this store used to be in Johnny Genaw states flea market and then overtime they got their own store where they're at right now.

Yelp
Yep it's as good as it gets. Wonderful market and large portions of food. All taste great and homemade. I recommend trying it once and you will be hooked.
