I Discovered Your DELICIOUS Bagel Shop yesterday for 2 Toasted Everything And I mean EVERYTHING BAGELS WITH a Shmear of Yummy Veggie cream cheese and Bacon for Diane and Lox & Capers for me!! After reading about you on my Facebook Page in the wee hours of the night, I set my alarm so i didn't miss this Fabulous Breakfast!! I returned today for Round 2... Egg & Cheese #3 Sandwich add Pork Roll on a Toasted Everything Bagel 🥯 😋 👌 😍 🙌 and the Dutch Royal... Pastrami, 2 Fried Eggs, Bacon, Hashbrowns, Pork Roll and Bodega Sauce!! OMG... Have i died and gone to Bagel Heaven?! Jeremy & Marina KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE BEST BAGELS IN OUR WORLD 🌎 ♥️ 🎶 With every bite Diane kept saying, "Oh my G-d!! This is the Best Breakfast I've ever had!!" Most if not all of the bagel options North of Portland are trad bagel places: been around forever, lots of flavored coffee, bagels are just ok, coffee is terrible. Dutchman, on the other hand is throughly modern: interesting bagel flavors, espresso bar, good 🥯 sandwiches. Its located in the huge mill building, but in the back, finding the entrance required a quick back and forth over the bridge. The physical space is huge with plenty of seating and views into the interior court yard. Bagel sandwich was delicious and ☕️ was really tasty. Great option if you are driving north or south.

I was finally able to make it up from Portland to Dutchman's and boy oh boy, what a treat!!! Totally worth the drive AND the 40 minute wait for the most unbelievable bagels and breakfast sandwich EVER (Pro tip: order online so you just go in and pick up!). This place is no joke - and SO adorable inside. I ordered the Dutch Royalty and wow wow wow! It's enormous and super tasty - totally hit the spot. Saving the other half for dinner tonight. I also ordered a toasted everything bagel with plain cream cheese b/c why not? Truly the best bagels I've had in a very long time. Thank you, Dutchman's, I will definitely be back!!!!

Dutchman's Wood-Fired Bagels in Brunswick is the place to go if you’re looking for a bagel. Located in the annex of the Nomad Pizzeria it shares the same charm and wood-fired oven. A year later, our second visit was as good as the first, maintaining the top-notch quality we remembered. We had two bagels: - The Garden State on an everything bagel with dill cream cheese and lox - A Bacon, Egg & Cheese on a poppy seed bagel. Key points: - Both bagels were incredible, flawless even. - The Garden State had perfectly ripe heirloom tomatoes. - The Bodega sauce on the B/E/C really took the sandwich up a notch. *bam* - Perfectly toasted and just soft enough on the inside. - Don’t forget to check out their bagel special of the day They also offer coffee and espresso drinks. Finding a decent bagel place is always tougher than you'd expect. But Dutchman's has nailed it and continues to do a fantastic job. This place should definitely be on your list. Visit once, and I bet you'll go back again next time you're in town.

These are some of the best bagels—anywhere! We live in New York City and are in Maine all summer, and Dutchman‘s bagels easily rival NYC bagels. My favorite sandwich: any bagel with horseradish-dill cream cheese and lox. Drool-worthy.

Absolutely incredible experience at Dutchman’s! I ordered the lox bagel on an everything bagel—perfectly toasted—with cream cheese, capers, and onions, and it was out of this world. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The service was just as outstanding—Emily Squared (yes, two awesome Emilys!) made my morning with their warmth and hospitality. They pointed me to Marina, who is the heart and soul of this place. Her passion for Dutchman’s shines through in every detail, and you can genuinely feel how much she cares about her team, her customers, and the entire experience. As the owner of Morning Moose Coffee, I know what it takes to create a space where people feel valued and welcomed—and Dutchman’s absolutely delivers. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this spot. We ordered several platters (which came with assorted bagels and a selection of awesome cream cheese flavors) for our wedding weekend. I don't have pictures of this amazing spread because it was devoured by our families and wedding party. These bagels were incredible; we will definitely be getting Dutchman's bagels whenever we are back in Brunswick!

My son: the bagels are warm, they have a crunchy outside and soft fluffy inside. The service was very helpful and friendly and the food was great! Best bagels I've had in Maine.

Holy bagel Batman! My only complaint about this place is they weren't open every day to get my fix of delicious wood fired bagels. Made my own bagel sandwich on an everything bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers. Soooo good!!! Tomato and cucumber were fresh and such a fresh flavor. My other half ordered the breakfast special of the day with Pastrami and hash browns... Holy heck it was huge and the bite I had was sooo good!! Grab some bagels to go cause I sure wish I did!

The hardest part is getting into the lot and figuring out that Dutchman's is in the same location as Nomad Pizza (they use the same wood-fired oven). After that, it's easy (especially if you park in the front lot and go through the main mill building entrance), with an attractive display case or online ordering helping you decide. Plenty of seating. Good coffee. Good lineup of bagel and cream cheese flavors. My Garden State #2 delivered ample cream cheese and even more ample smoked salmon. Nice complementary flavors from pickled onions and capers. Didn't taste as much wood as hoped or as much seasoning on the Everything as hoped, but the bagel itself was solid and the overall composition was very solid. Veggie cream cheese (my wife's order) tasted oddly sweet, but again, good bagel.

Delicious bagels!! Make sure you order online early because they will sell out. Great flavors and fresh toppings, I ordered the garden state on an olive and feta bagel and it was delicious. Highly recommend treating yourself to one of these if you're in the area!

I really, really love a good bagel, and, thanks to my granddaughter, I now know that Dutchman's is the place to go. She and I tried to go one day, but it was late in the day and the line was long. I then decided to order online - and yay. Although, I ordered six single, and would have saved a couple of bucks if I'd ordered a half dozen, but couldn't figure out how to do it. The very nice server who handed me my bagels mentioned that, and I let her know that it wasn't easy. EvOr it could have been me. It was easy to park, the people were nice, it was great! Looking forward to more.

For those of us searching for amazing bagels north of Portland, and mourning the temporary closure of The Purple House, Dutchman's Wood Fired Bagels is an oasis in a land of mediocre, often store bought bagels. My first visit here will be one of many...for the oh so crusty and delicious bagels served by the friendly staff. Get the bagel of the day for something different - todays was rosemary and garlic,, making a perfect egg sandwich on this stormy day. They are a bit pricey, but remember to take six or twelve home with some cream cheese too. I'll be back!

The bagel was delicious and flavorful. Service was quick and friendly and the interior was rustic.

I was excited to try Dutchman's this past weekend and all-in-all, I am pretty satisfied! While their bagels don't quite live up to the ones I ate while living in NYC, they are pretty dang good for Maine bagels. Plus -- they have some decent height to them! I got the egg and cheese with bacon on an everything bagel and it was delicious! I am excited to try the chocolate chip bagel with sea salt next time, which apparently is a fan favorite! They often sell out before their official close time, so be sure to check Dutchman's Instagram account for updates and try to either order ahead online or go before 10:30/11 am to avoid disappointment. Parking: I recommend going to the small lot off of Maine Street/201. Go up the stairs, through the doors, and turn right. Pricing: A little pricy for bagels, but they're good so I'm not complaining too much.

I absolutely love this place!! The bagels are delicious and the sandwiches, filling. My latte was perfect. Wait staff was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. What a great place to just settle in for a few minutes.

Just found this place by accident. Why did it take me so long to know this place is in Brunswick. Wicked good bagels. Crunchy outside and a soft chewy center....OMG!! This is my go to bagel place going forward, so happy they are in Brunswick.

Smart business plan- morning/ lunch wood-fired bagel place shares the restaurant wood -fired oven with a pizza place in the old Frontier restaurant. Good bagels- I recommend the salt and pepper and garlic rosemary. Check out their non-bagel options, too-- I had a delicious corn muffin with a cream cheese topping with crystallized orange slivers. Yummy. Also, fun atmosphere, right on the river.

Super great bagels....employees are kinda rude and seem like they do not enjoy their jobs. Also not much seating, I would take it to go. I would also recommend ordering ahead so you don't have to wait in line or deal with the rude ladies behind the counter.

Getting snubbed by pretentious staff, who will get your order wrong, give attitude, flip iPad expecting a tip after being absolutely rude, yikes... We are talking BAGELS here. A humble breakfast item somehow blasted into the highest echelons of society to include some delicious toppings, but with a tragic reality--working an entry level job serving the public bagels. Bring your wallets and get ready to be treated poorly. Too bad

Picked up a half dozen bagels and they are fantastic!! Loaded with everything toppings that added such flavor. Nice crunch with a soft chewy interior. This is my new favorite bagel in town.

Wonderful bagels-truly among the best I have ever had- but by God it is nearly impossible to get an order straight! Three-count 'em -three times I have placed an order only to have it unfulfilled. The excuses range from, "... 'the ticket didn't come through ' to ' we ran out as the order came in' to 'the order wasn't clear enough'" Again great bagels, but the hassle really isn't worth it.

Highly Recommended! Their bagels are among the best I've ever had. We've tried just about every option on the menu and everything is delicious. The Garden State with smoked salmon and their Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwiches are incredible.

Great bagel and coffee. Has a nice "shell" on the outside of the bagel which you want but very soft and chewy inside.

Wow- delicious and really interesting spot- once we found it. Don't give up, it's on the river side of the mill, egg sandwich with soft yolks! Turkey sandwich also great.

I've been searching for a good bagel in Maine and finally found it at Dutchman's! Breakfast sandwiches were perfect as well as the coffee. My husband was super excited they offered oat milk for his coffee. Really great place to sit and relax for a little bit while enjoying yummy food! And the staff was very nice! Highly recommend!

Hands down the best bagel iv ever had. The coffee is amazing. The people that work there are super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere, food, workers are top notch.

I've lived here for over a year and haven't discovered this place till now?! Gorgeous, lighting, and atmosphere! The service was great! Ask for Emma! Emma is so sweet and makes a mean spiced latte. All the people who work there are friendly and they even gave me a free muffin! 100% recommend If your looking for a chill place to sip your coffee and read your smuddiest novel!

We have heard great things about Dutchman's and could not wait to try the bagels. This morning we finally had our chance. The bagels are not bad at all, one of the best in Maine. We ordered 6 bagels to go, which were collected and given to us by a staff member who was cheery at first, until she flipped the screen for our payment and we did not offer her a tip. I was so suprrised! She spent about 15 seconds accessing our bagels and placing them in a bag. Is this because you do not offer fair wages or did she feel that 15 seconds of action warranted a reward? Her snub left me feeling very uncomfortable and I will not be returning to Dutchman's again unless you change the tipping policy.

I am a self admitted bagel snob. We had a zatar bagel with veggies, cream cheese, and smoked salmon (aka lox). It was perhaps one the best bagels I have eaten anywhere ever. We got more to take home.

Had possibly one of the best bagels I have ever had here. I went cheap and got the peanut butter (which is organic) and large coffee. The amount of peanut butter on the bagel was more than enough. The coffee was splendid and hot. I really like the "vibe" of the cafe and all of the help were very friendly. I am looking forward to getting back there soon!

I got lucky. I was one of the few that was able to purloin more than just one of these amazing bagels. I tried the plain, sesame and, when it arrived, the poppy seed. As you may guess, I took them home and put them in the fridge for another day. Some simple reheat and OMG - heaven in Vacationland! I'm looking forward to trying their Garden State when I return!

I highly recommend. They are the best bagels I have ever had and I purchased some to take home. The ingredients are fresh, the presentation is amazing. The staff is friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is relaxing - a great place to hang out!

Dutchman's is overpriced and pretentious. 2 "pork roll" egg and cheeses, a coffee, and orange juice cost $36. The OJ has pulp (aka orange boogers) and the coffee is weak for a cold brew. Being a local New Jerseyian I recognize good bagels and craftsmanship and this is not it. When I walk into a breakfast joint I expect the waiter to understand what Taylor ham is and not correct me like know-nothing know-it-all they try to be. I'll admit the first bite was good because I was starving but as I progressed through the sandwich, the bland bagel overwhelmed my palate. It felt like a chore to put down the second half because the "pork roll" is a step above cardboard. If you are trying to emulate a local NJ/NY bagel shop at least act like you know what you're doing.
