Duvan Hotell

The rooms are very simple, almost looks like a hospital. But very clean, very quiet and comfortable beds. Bathroom also very clean, but urgently needs renovation. Not a place for a romantic weekend.

Spacious, clean, nicely furnished rooms, conveniently located for the railway station and the old town, friendly staff at a fair price.

The rooms were simple, and a bit dusty. The bed was fine, and duvet was good. I loved being able to open the windows. The people running the hotel were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

Nightmare .. avoid ||Complaint - I was very disappointed to get locked out of my hotel last night (lost my room key pass). To get access to my room I was offered the option to pay 200 euros for the hotel security to open my door. I am simply speechless at such poor customer service. I was left on the street at 2200 hours to find another hotel. I will raise my complaint with Booking and suggest they warn future guests of this threat. At the very least the check in desk should warn guests of this draconian measure when losing their room key. Referring impacted guests to the small print disclaimer after the event is hardly empathetic or a proactive customer experience policy.

Small apartment hotel. No 24 hour reception but entry are managed with codes and access cards.

I stayed in September and I found it perfect for my needs. It was well located, the room was spacious, quiet, clean and a good breakfast was included. An unforeseen issue occurred during my stay but the staff were friendly and resolved it, demonstrating great customer service. Because of this, I will be happy to stay next time and recommend others to do so too.

Hotel Duvan is located a five minute walk from the central station in Uppsala and about 40 minutes with train from Stockholm airport, ARN. The hotel is a three star property in a great location in the centre of Uppsala. The rooms are nice with everything you need and if you want the social side of things there are lounge and a game room. The hotel offers a continental breakfast and should you want something else then there are plenty of restaurants and bars around the hotel. Uppsala centre with sightseeing and shopping are minutes away from the hotel. Overall a great budget hotel in Uppsala

A very quiet former seniors' residence with big rooms and functional interior. The personnel at the reception are very friendly and keen to help you! Expect to have your basic needs as a traveler covered and your stay will be quite pleasant.
