Duveroglu

We recently visited Düveroğlu and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We went for dinner around 6 PM but had to wait for an hour before being seated. Once seated, it took an additional hour for them to prepare and serve our lahmacun. The service quality was below expectations, and the overall atmosphere was poor, making it an unenjoyable dining experience. While the food quality itself was good, the weak service, excessive noise, and lack of attention to customer comfort overshadowed the meal. We hope the restaurant takes steps to improve its service efficiency and ambiance in the future.

A recommended place by a friend to try Gazienthep style Lahmacun (with garlic and more spicy I was told), so we did at last. We ordered both Gazienthep style and regular one, both were nice, my wife enjoyed them very much… so did I. Lentil soup was good, baklava with pistachio were great. Superb services. Next time we’ll try kebap for sure…

When we go to our hometown, we like to visit places that hold memories. @duveroglukebap is one of the good businesses that are traditional, maintain their standards, and where the price/quality ratio remains on the positive side. The business we have known for 30 years is one of the addresses that is always on our list with its Antep style lahmacun, good Yaprak Döner and Adana Kebab, which is successful according to Ankara standards. Pide and Baklava are also so popular for some customers, but we have different tastes in these two products. We recommend that you visit the Anıttepe or Kızılay branches of this still budget-friendly business.

We were on our way to Ankara from Istanbul where the guide decided to stop here for lunch. The waiters hurriedly found some empty tables and shuffled them around for our party of 7. We really enjoyed the meal here – see photos. It was good. We noticed that customers were coming in all the time and the restaurant was continually full even though it was about 2pm. When we left, I noticed that other restaurants were not busy like this one.

Its a typical no frills Turkish style eatery. They were generous in topping up the salad and mezes as needed. What I ate was good , fresh and tasty.. Service was manic but good as it was iftar time. I recommend their garlic Lahmacun it was good.

A kebap tradition in Ankara which has not changed for years. If you want to taste good kebap and lahmacun and experience the Turkish couisine and mingle with some local people, this would be the best spot to do so. Lahmacun was very delicious as usual. Doner and baklava were also complementing this gratness. The staff are kind and very warm as usual, most of them have been working there for at least more than 10 years.

Good prices. Fresh baked thin bread. Many and good Entries like the mezze, soup and salate was delicious and fresh. Ayran wasn't authentic:( wished to have housemade Ayran. My friend ate Adanalı which she liked. But desserts like baklava with pistachio too sweet.

Amazing place, great food, friendly people, I hope to be able to visit again!

It is an old and high-quality restaurant in terms of taste and quality. They are very kind about service. But the decoration and ambians are old and not good.
