I ended up visiting Divino Bar after coming down from the castle, when I was in the mood for some wine and a few small bites. I decided to go for tapas, expecting the usual sort of portions I’m used to in the UK, where you normally order around three to five plates to make a meal of it.
That was definitely not the case here.
I ordered what seemed to be tapas-style dishes, including calamari, steak tartare, and some potato wedges and honestly, I could have done with two more people to help me eat it all. I was dining alone, and the portions were absolutely huge.
The calamari was especially memorable and probably some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. There was just so much of it. The potato wedges were also really good and ended up being perfect for eating alongside the steak tartare. The steak tartare itself was a little bland for my taste, although the pink peppercorns were an interesting touch.
The staff were very friendly, and overall I had a really good experience. My main advice would just be: don’t over-order. If you’re dining solo, one plate is probably enough.
