We have stayed at Dwor Polski on four occasions now. Chosen originally because it was a Rough Guide recommendation, we have returned because of the factors behind our original decision. It is very convenient for the Rynek ( the hotel is just around the corner; and the restaurant actually opens on to the Rynek ) and it is comfortable. Perhaps a little old fashioned in style ( lots of brown furniture) it is nevertheless very comfortable and relaxing. A tip: go for a superior double rather than a standard - you get what is in essence a small suite with masses of space. The real stars of the hotel though are the staff - without exception they all put themselves out to cater for guests demands. Polite and friendly, they make you feel welcome. |Across the courtyard is a cafe/ bar , K2: we were fortunate to hear some good Polish music performed there.|The only drawback we encountered was the fact that the rooms were very hot - we had the windows open and the fan going constantly.

Noisy , cold and tired. We asked for a heater and were told to use blankets! Breakfast was poor. The location is good but does not outweigh the quality and cost. Stay elsewhere near the old town.

We stayed in the apartment in this hotel for 2 nights at £276. I have stayed in this apartment before 33 years ago when the hotel was called Dwor Wazow. About the only things that have changed in that time are the addition of the internet and "slightly" more modern TV. The room was really cold (colder than the corridor) and the heating did not function. When we asked for a heater or two we told there were none available we should use blankets! It was also very noisy, from building and maintenance works at odd hours to noisy cackling coming from the courtyard. To be fair I would say that the location of the hotel is great for the Old Town and Rynek and the Swor Polski restaurant has great food and drink and excellent service (but you can go there anyway). On the other hand breakfast was uninspiring and very limited with almost no expense "spent" or any attention to service. I had hoped it would have been a nostalgic return but the experience has made me recommend that you stay somewhere else closeby.

Very old hotel right in the center of everything. Kind staff, nice breakfast options and clean rooms.
The only negative I have to say about this hotel is that although I was fully aware it would be noisy at night ( which I was ok with and was fully aware of it while booking ) the constant drive by of sports cars and motorcycles ( the show off type of drives ) for hours every single day was completely unacceptable.
I am not sure if this is an all the time thing but for the 7 days I was there, it happened every single day from about 9 pm ( or earlier even ) until way passed 2 am. Definitely something to think about before booking.

This was our first visit to Wroclaw. The hotel was conveniently located just off the main square and a great location for exploring the city. We walked everywhere and enjoyed discovering a previously unknown Polish city. The hotel was not very busy. It was quiet inside but the nearby bars in the alleyway did lead to noise later in the evening ( the hotel provides ear plugs at the main desk)! The staff were helpful and professional. The breakfasts were great with lots of choice to cater for all tastes. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. A very good hotel at a reasonable price in a great location. Thank you.

Hotel has lots of character and charm. Rooms spacious and spotless, the cleaners kept our room spotless, fresh towels and bottled water every day. The staff were amazing, breakfast was good, plenty of choices. Hotel off the main square, very central.

Very close to the city Center and charming little street. The rooms was a bit old / rusty and needed some refreshing.
The breakfast was nice but basic.
Whilst the staff will address any question, they do not come about as being the most friendly.
