On the Grid : Dynamo Stadium

"The stadium had been a home for world famous Dynamo Kyiv football team until the club moved to Olimpiysky. It has seen a deathmatch during WWI when Luftwaffe officers squad was beaten by Dynamo players, that didn’t make the Nazis too happy. The square next to its entrance's colonnade saw bloody events in 2014, where the fist casualties of Revolution of Dignity came from." - DepositPhotos

It is old stadium but atmosphere is good and is is surrounded by Forrest or park which makes this place special. Stadium is small comparing to modern arenas but it is still nice to be there if the stages are full. Be prepared to wait in long queues for beer during half break.

A small (16,873 seats) but nice stadium. Watched UEFA Women's Champions League Final here, was very well organized. Lacking toilets in the surrounding area though.

valery Lobanovsky is a name which connects me to my old time world cup memories and when he managed UAE . in the entrance of this stadium there is a big picture of him along with his statue some meters away . on your walking through khreshiatyk avenue , you can pass by and pay a visit to this stadium as well .

It was built in 1932 with a pool inside. Now it is the stadium of national soccer league for Ukrain. History and soccer 💚

This Olympic stadium is the place where you must take your man and them he will agree with all points of your visit. :) But for women it is interesting too. This stadium project was launched in 1936 and the plan was to finish it in 1941, but the Second World War started and the stadium was built later. Well, here held the place Moscow Olympic games in 1980 (quarter-finals and semi-finals). In 2012 stadium served for Euro championship final match and last year, 2018, here were UEFA champions league final match.
