We did this hike October 8, just before snowier conditions and it was perfect! Most of the hike was fairly easy, and they are paving it to be handicap-accessible... so a few of the viewpoints closer to Dynjandi (the main one, most importantly) are closed!
If you'd like to see a what the hike is like (13 minute video showing you the full experience), check out my Youtube, titled: "Hiking Dynjandi Waterfall in Westfjords, Iceland 🇮🇸: Ultimate Guide & Travel Tips [4K FULL HIKE]")
The second half has some steps, with some spots of ice frozen over- so be careful if going in the Spring/Fall.
Takes a short amount of time, even if you stop for a lot of photos. Wear hiking shoes. Good, clean bathrooms. Pay for parking via QR code (750 ISK).
