A must visit! Good place with great history. Lots of different walks with many ways to walk them. Rooms were interesting with good facts. Also views were stunning

A real authentic fortified tower “castle” that’s open to explore! The owners spent years saving this amazing piece of Irish history. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this site!

Beautiful day out there and what a view from the top! The castle has just reopened and things are updated and informative.

Great place, off the beaten track....apart from the visit to the castle there's a hiking tour you can do (you can buy a map for €2'50). I'd highly recommend everyone to do it!

This is a hidden gem in the west of Ireland. This castle has a very unique history. Buried in the hills of Clare bordering the legendary Burren landscape, it is a must see if you are in the area. Price of entry is completely fair and a very tranquil setting. Ideal for 1 - 2 hour visit

Easy to access and it was quiet. The woman said your busses come sometimes but it was just me and my kids wandering a castle by ourselves.

A bit rundown. Too long to walk to the local sites and several not visible from road. Map not to scale. Roads very narrow. Pretty countryside and interesting ruined church with nearby cross.
