We stopped here for lunch while out on a boat trip. Easy to refuel, dock, then go inside for food. Lunchtime was busy but the wait was short. Bathroom was clean. Prices are reasonable. Food was delicious. Bartenders make good drinks. What else can you ask for?!!

Google
Absolutely incredible BLT and sweet potato fries. Fun atmosphere and vibes, perfect stop during a long day on the boat. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved the food if you're willing to pay to get onto the island then be prepared to pay for your meals if you plan on eating at a restaurant. I don't regret it we got smoked tuna dip with chips for appetizer a blackened grouper sandwich and two orders of grouper and chips one with truffle fries and one with regular fries. And a kids chicken tender and fry meal. We only had tea and lemonade so no alcoholic beverages but our bill before tip was 120 I will visit again Thanks to our waiter John for doing a great job and telling us that he loves his job and is happy to be here for his second season with the restaurant.

First time here, and I couldn't say that we enjoyed our dinner. First, we got escargot, and it was not good at all. Second, calamari, they were nice, fresh, and tasty. Baked clamps were a bad choice. 👎 we also got dosen of fresh clams but they were fresh water and not as good as fresh salt water clams. 😢 For the main course, we got a large seafood platter. The shrimp were good, but only 4 ps on the big plate 😃. (Wanna see what will be on a small plate 😅) The fish was not really good. The scallops were good. Rice and vegetables were cooked perfectly. So for 3 appetizers and one meal, we paid $178, and most of the food was not good. It's definitely my last time here. Food is way overpriced. Not Recommend!

Google
Outstanding service, high quality food. Everything on our table was prepared to perfection. The view here is everything. I recommend the Greek salad, the blackened fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. We ended our night off with a hot fudge sundae and crème brûlée. The desserts are $8 and are huge portions, so they could be shared. Our server Brian was so helpful and humorous. We had an amazing time!

Google
Nice place to eat if you are in the area. The food was good but not great, especially for the price. You pay for the location more than the quality of food. The atmosphere was not my favorite, It feels like a high-end chic lunchroom. Some people dress up and others are very casual. Honestly not worth the drive if you're not in the area.

Google
Great atmosphere, inside air conditioned but right on the water, quick and efficient staff, attentive and always quick to refill drinks and attend. Food is delicious, everything was amazing. Had the Caesar salad with chicken, shrimp skillet, burger, fish and chips, chop salad, sweet potato fries, and peel and eat shrimp. 10/10, definitely come here. Very busy though and they don't take reservations, so make sure to get there early or be prepared to wait for a good meal. Even with quick turnover, they're always packed.

Google
Overall, a pretty mediocre experience considering the location and the price. There is a nice view of the dock and water, however, we were seated at a low table so a big beam was obstructing our view. The tables closer to the windows should all be high-tops. The food was rather disappointing, again, considering the price. I started with a half-dozen oysters. I was actually given 7 which was nice; I suspect that it was because several of the oysters were on the small side. They were mild in flavor (I was told they were from Texas) but still tasted fresh with a pleasant, silky texture. The main course was the biggest letdown. My wife and I both ordered the grouper - piccata style. The fish was cooked well but the sauce was underwhelming (which was surprising considering lemon, butter, and capers are all bold flavors by themselves). The rice tasted like it came from a box, and the steamed veggies had no seasoning or salt on them. Surprisingly, our son’s fried shrimp kids meal was very good. The shrimps were big, plump, and cooked perfectly. The breading was crunchy and well seasoned. On the plus side, our server was lovely and the food was prepared quickly. I am open to the possibility that this was a one off experience but considering the cost, I don’t know if we’ll come back.

Yelp
WOW!!! The food here- Fantastic Service- fantastic Atmosphere- fantastic Our server was so nice, and our food was awesome!!!

Rose Leah L.

Yelp
I came here with a big group of friends (11 total) by boat & jet skis. We were at Miller's Dockside section in their covered patio. I had the shrimp & grits, which were really good. I had a taste of my friend's ahi tuna nachos, and those were yummy. Everyone seemed to like the food that they ordered. Service was excellent. I would definitely come back next time we're on the water in the Boca Grande area.

Chris F.

Yelp
Went here for lunch, our first interaction with our server was her saying SHIT i forgot when we asked her what the two beers on tap were. Typically I don't care if someone swears, i just thought it was very odd and unprofessional especially in an uppity place like Boca Grand. The food was decent and the view was good.

Trish G.

Yelp
WOW!! The food was incredible and the service is equally as amazing. We had the smoked ahi dip and paella. Both were the specials for the evening. Soooooooo yummy!

Ed G.

Yelp
Lunch at Millers Dockside after catching some rays on the beach. Great view of the docks. I ordered a Gaspar salad for me and a Lighthouse Quesadilla with shrimp. And least I forget an order of fried calamari appetizer. Food really hit the spot, my wife liked the quesadillas but loved my salad more so we shared. There's a few other restaurants close by and I will definitely check them out as well but will return here again.

Yelp
Last time we went for lunch was 4 months ago. Great food, good portions at a reasonable price. We went for lunch 2 days ago ant the prices were much higher with smaller portions. They usually have great escargot but not that day. Thought we would treat ourselves to Sunday oyster's Rockefeller and that turned out to be a huge mistake. Yuk! We didn't complain at the time. We had guests. We love going here by boat year round but not again until we are out of season

Ronald C.

Yelp
Our first time at Boca Grande island. Memorial Day weekend was super busy and the restaurant upstairs was closed because it was out of season. The grill was open and packed with people. The food was good and service was great despite the crowd. The Ahi Tuna nachos and fried gulf shrimp wasawesome.

Robin B.

Yelp
Not sure why you wouldn't take advantage of such a nice view in such an upscale area and put in open air windows to see outside. The frame is right in your right of vision. Could be improved upon

Lee B.

Yelp
Had a fantastic meal here on Christmas Eve! Got there just in time at lunch because the place became packed! The food was really really delicious! They opened up the window, so it had a real nice breeze! Highly recommend!

Adam M.

Yelp
Pretty average. Limited to no selection vegan options. Fries tasted like they had been sitting out for awhile. Mahi Mahi tacos were decent but slathered in too much mayo and tortillas were stale. My kids said they liked the Mac and cheese better from Panera. Expensive and they included an automatic 20% tip. Would not return.

Laura T.

Yelp
Our first adventure to Boca Grande for lunch. This will certainly be our New go to place to eat!! EXCELLENT service EXCELLENT food EXCELLENT views/ambiance!!

Maria R.

Yelp
Very nice place on the island. Pretty place on the water. We had an early dinner here and kept our order really simple, We ordered some chicken wings and split a cheeseburger. Service was very good and relatively quick. This restaurant is always full so the noise could get loud especially if you are indoors. Lovely place. Will definitely be back.

Morgan M.

Yelp
Millers has good food, a great atmosphere & is always reliably a go-to in BG. It is not fancy, island prices but consistently good. Go in with the right mindset and you're going to love it! Recommend the grouper sandy.

Sean B.

Yelp
Service was terrible. Our server didn't want to give us the time of day. He was short with us when we asked any questions and didn't follow up with us the entire meal except to take our order and deliver our food. The manager had to step in so we could get another round of drinks. I would look on the main island for a better restaurant experience.

J M C.

Yelp
We drove our boat up to the dock, and right away we were greeted by an extremely helpful and friendly "ship master" that helped us dock the boat. He pointed us to the entrance and even taught us how to properly tie off our boat and gave us some fishing tips. The restaurant was rather fancy and we got some strange looks in our swimming wear, but nothing negative was said! They seated us by a beautiful window and we're very prompt on taking our order. The waitress was friendly and the food was pretty good. I had fries and a Pepperoni pizza, and was extremely satisfied after a long day on the bay. The view was great and very beach like, the color scheme was something out of the 1920s and was beautiful, and the bathrooms were clean and orderly. I recommend this place to anyone with a boat to dock in the area!

Rick K.

Yelp
Had a wonderful Anniversary dinner at Eagle Grille. The food was fantastic, and service was excellent. Wonderful view as well. We'll be back again!

Ali P.

Yelp
We love the tuna nachos and quesadilla. Bridget was amazing! I misplaced an important item and she went above and beyond to find it. We sat at the bar to watch a football game on a busy Sunday and she made sure our team was on one of tvs. She is efficient and so personable. Drinks are also strong. If your in Boca Grande please visit!!!

Tracey M.

Yelp
Great location in a marina, on the water, beautiful yachts to look at everywhere. Food was good, drinks from bar, decent. However, the service we had at our table is where they were lacking. We were there for far too long once we got a table, waiting to be acknowledged, and when we were she just wanted to take our food order. We. would have got a lot more drinks but server only came to take food order, bring food, not noticing empty glasses. And then not seen for 30 minutes. I kid you not, don't know if it's lack of training or a server who just doesn't want to be there.

Chilyn S.

Yelp
Menu was limited and food wasn't anything special. Overpriced too. Had a great waitress though! Fun atmosphere, but even still, would t go back.

Sandy G.

Yelp
Food service was slow and food was cold! Not recommended. Sorry. We wanted this to succeed but we were basically ignored.

Nina S.

Yelp
Took a cruise from Punta Gorda out to Boca Grande for the day and this restaurant was the only one within reasonable walking distance from the dock site. It has a great view of the boats and the dining area felt relaxed but still fancy. Ordered: grouper sandwich: well fried, coleslaw was fresh, crisp calamari app: great big portion and had those tangy spicy pepper and even had caper berries (fun to look at and interesting to eat) Convenient place for lunch!

Ayden B.

Yelp
Shout out to wilson 5 star service, he moved the mat over the AC and was very polite.

Ernest D.

Yelp
3 of us sat down at bar and were ignored. The Bartender avoided eye contact while organizing glasses. Finally one of us asked for service and the female blonde bartender flipped out and was upset that we said anything. Then made fun of my friend for ordering a Diet Coke.

Gaz H.

Yelp
Ahi tuna nachos and chimichurri steak. These things bring joy and show off the capable kitchen. Atmosphere is altogether too loud and aspiring sports bar. These things do not bring joy. Daytime views of the water. I'll bet those windows open.

Curtis S.

Yelp
There's a lot to love about Miller's. The dining areas are nice and the staff is really great. (Side note: there are really three areas here: the upstairs which feels like a more fine dining experience, the downstairs which seems more like a family-friendly restaurant, and the bar area which is more of a sportsbar.) The main reason for the 3 stars is that the food is mediocre. For $40+ a plate, you'd expect something better than what you get at Miller's. The fish is good, but the other options aren't worth the price. The drinks are also very sweet; I'd recommend a beer rather than a cocktail here. We've been going to Millers for years and will be back, but I wish the food was slightly better.

William S.

Yelp
Have had dinner recently at both Millers Landing and upstairs at Eagle Landing. First menu the same at both. Prices high but so are most in Boca Grande. Downstairs the noise level was off the charts and impacted our meal. Hard to hear someone across the table. Upstairs much more quiet but also not as crowded Slow service in both cases. Food was good and very acceptable So on balance not the best on island and not worst. They have a way to go to become a favorite

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
Absolutely cannot come to boca grande without getting these. They are my favorite thing in the entire town. Big pieces of tuna with crispy wontons and a delicious sauce! MUST try

Sue R.

Yelp
Didn't take pics of our food cuz we've been here plenty of times but we're probably done. One chicken quesadilla, a Millerita drink, a Grouper sandwich, a beer and a cup of soup. $72 without tip. The young boy bringing our food to our table dropped a tarter sauce for the grouper- didn't pick it up- asked if we wanted a new one?- brought something different. All in all, for the money, extremely sub par.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
Not very impressed with this place. Oysters Rockefeller had a lard of velvetta and maybe a mix of Worcestershire. It was god awful. Salad was pathetic. Service was friendly and the clam chowder was good. Not worth $120 with tip for appetizers only.

Oleksandr K.

Yelp
I am writing this review to give this seafood restaurant the much deserving credit it's missing on here. Our server name was "Ari'ella" I believe and we had a phenomenal experience. The timing, the suggestions, the food and drink pairing that we inquired about, all in all, would come visit again and again. Because of the quality of service and the quality of food matching the priceless views from where we sat down for both lunch and dinner, I would like to suggest to my Yelp reader family : you request the above mentioned name if you're in for a treat and want to celebrate accordingly with the best! The burger was juicy, the ahi tuna was fresh fresh fresh! The drinks sold us for another round. Thankful for people who know how to treat others well and make lunch and dinner an experience to recall , remember, and rave about to your friends and family.

Bob S.

Yelp
Came here with our yacht club the other day and they were able to handle our 24+ people well. All of the food was great, but impressed us most was how well the service was done. All the food was brought out almost at the same time AND was warm. This place, like many others in Florida, is dealing with a severe labor shortage. However, the managers and staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Nathan L.

Yelp
Good food, GREAT view of the water. Relaxed experience. Salads were underwhelming, but general restaurant was really nice. Wish I could do 3.5 stars.

Billy M.

Yelp
I started going to Millers in the '70's when you would hang a Tarpon from the hook get a cold PBR and talk about the bigger one that got away that day. Maybe eat a few pretzels and have a frozen pizza. Times have changed as Millers, still an active Marina, has transformed into a first class operation and the Eagle Grill is indicative of that change. 14+ year Spanish born chef leads a first rate service crew on island fresh. Grouper anything is the rule but salads are first rate ( just add Grouper of course), burgers are as good as you can get on an island and fried items are lightly battered and homemade. Fried Calamari is perfecto ( not sure if that is Spanish or Italian) but atop a Caesar salad and you are in heaven. With a PBR, Bud, etc...Deck dining is complimented by forced cool air, inside bar serves lots of locals and lots of cold, full service adult beverages. PROMPT service, friendly and while the snarls from the old captains and first mates are long gone ( as is the taking of Tarpon from the water ) the updated Millers and Eagle make it feel like home.

Brian H.

Yelp
Good to be in the ol' hometown! Great spot for lunch - I recommend the Gaspar chopped salad and the Fried shrimp - they are HUGE!

Rachel M.

Yelp
Vacationing in Boca Grande for Memorial Day weekend. Ate at Millers Friday night (upstairs) and everything from the views, to the drinks, appetizers, dinner, dessert and even the staff was top notch. The jalapeños margarita mule was the perfect combination of spicy, tequila and ginger beer. The shrimp corn chowder was creamy, hot and good portion. The SHOW STOPPER is the AHI TUNA NACHOS. If you like raw tuna this is the dish you NEED to get. For my meal I ate the wedge salad. The Gorgonzola dressing is a cool twist on traditional blue cheese dressing. BUT the BACON that is served on this salad and at Miller's is heavenly. Miller's was so good that we went back Saturday for dinner (ate downstairs). I ate the Caesar salad and of course I added bacon to it. It was delicious. I would highly recommend eating here for lunch or dinner.

Jim S.

Yelp
We boated up for a late lunch and we were lucky to get an open slip. Service was great, food was very good (excellent by boating standards!). I had one of the better shrimp Quesadilla around, plus we had shrimp topped Salad, coconut shrimp, and shrimp and grits. All were good. The Ahi tuna nachos were fine, but we should have asked for more wasabi sauce.

Sally T.

Yelp
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun and festive. We went to eat and enjoy the boat dock at Christmastime. The staff was also very efficient and polite.

Chris C.

Yelp
Great location on the water on Boca Grande, The only place I have found in Boca Grande that you can boat to. Beautiful location, very nice place. Sat outside in comfortable chairs and chilled with some apps and wine.

Emily C.

Yelp
The service at the Eagle Grill is excellent. My family arrived without a reservation during the busy Christmas season and they were able to find a table for us. They have a broad selection of menu items, many of which have creative flair such as Lobster tempura bites and Ahi tuna nachos. My Father had the shrimp and grits and loved them. The dish that was the biggest hit was the Lobster ravioli. With great food, a full bar, nice wine list and great water views, it's the perfect spot for dinner. Plus, the prices are more affordable than most other restaurants on the island.

Frank C.

Yelp
Stop in after a day on the water, easy access for your boat, food and service was outstanding loved the house BLT and great drinks. Clean and great view with open air seating highly recommended.

P. K.

Yelp
Always great food and service!! Delicious food prepared very well. Great menu with a variety of choices. Our waitperson was great. Professional and personable.

Angela L.

Yelp
If you have food allergies BEWARE!! We provided allergy cards for both of our kids to our waiter. Each card list all the foods they are allergic too. This makes it easier for them and the chef to insure what we order is safe for them. After asking our waiter to see if the foods my kids wanted would be safe, he said he doesn't think so because it has egg. I requested that he go ask the chef to confirm. He was gone briefly and said my son couldn't have what he wanted and then said he couldn't have the cheese. My kid is not allergic to milk!! I didn't feel comfortable so I went and spoke to the manager and he said what my son wanted should be fine. Needless to say.....the waiter, the chef, the manager didn't even take the time to read a label on the food box. We are talking about a frozen pizza and they couldn't even take the time to read a box! I will not be returning. The entire staff needs to have proper training on food allergies. My kids won't just have an upset stomach, my kid could die and your too lazy to read a label. Shame on you.

Daniel F.

Yelp
The Atmosphere was great, great customer service very festive price is decently good for the big portion of everything you get, food was amazing for me and my other plus 8 family Members , a nice dock you can walk around if you want just a overall 5/5 and also to add on it is very clean and sanitized, Awesome place for Lunch and especially Dinner

P K.

Yelp
Best view the entire vacation. This is a a staple restaurant - they know what they are doing and have years of experience. Good food, excellent service. Good pricing. Come by boat or not :)

Dawn H.

Yelp
This has to be the best fried grouper sandwich I have ever had, and I get grouper everywhere that I can find it! They put it on a round bun that was moist and delicious, but didn't fall apart in your hand. During covid, everything is takeout. When this is over, I want to go back and sit outside. It's on a marina with huge boats going by. I had the best time with my cousins eating and watching the boats. There are big fish swimming by the dock too. The whole atmosphere was amazing. The grouper was fabulous. Thank you for a beautiful day outside with family and good food.

John C.

Yelp
Food was good. Had the BLT with fries and sugared bacon. The other customers at my table ordered pizza x2 and tacos. Their Food was also good. Service was not so good. It was a hot day and I was thirsty. The server person would not refill my water. The table next to me got three rounds of beer before I got a water refill. One of the customers in our group ordered a diet soda. Towards the end of the meal, we reminded the server it was ordered, it was brought out promptly. The ambiance was all centered around one table that was very loud. There were three other customers with me, their service was the same. Having just good food is not enough. We went to the Ugly Grouper the night before, now that's a restaurant with all three categories, Food, Service, and Ambiance that were excellent. This place should close and take their team to the Ugly Grouper and take notes on how to run a restaurant.

Peter B.

Yelp
I was there yesterday at Eagles Grill. While the ambience was great the food and service was questionable. My Grouper tasted fishy and the waiter just responded with words and with no offer to keep one as a future guest. I should mention my wive's grouper was delicious. The plastic cups for the remoulade are out of place for that level of restaurant. Overall mixed feelings.

Karen G.

Yelp
Beautiful view but food was so so. My grouper had a fishy taste and was very expensive. Some at our table said food was good but not great.

Maria B.

Yelp
Overall good food in general, wish they had a few more creative options for the island and some more gluten free options, but the view and staff is always awesome here and I enjoy them each time I am on the island!
