My friend and I stayed the night and absolutely loved the place. Lisa and Kermit were super welcoming, the room was cozy and comfy, and the property is beautiful. I loved being able to enjoy my coffee and book right by the river.

We stayed here while on an off-site retreat which meant our time at this beautiful property was limited. We absolutely want to come back and just "be" at this gorgeous spot on the river. Lots of outdoor seating available to watch wildlife and the river flow. Lisa, the co-owner, is lovely and their breakfasts and happy hour was delicious. Comfortable bed, small but cozy room (caddisfly room).

The hosts are very kind and hospitable. We would stay there again. The breakfast was very custom and delicious. The grounds are beautiful.

This place holds a little magic. You won’t be disappointed about this little get away with attention to detail and cozy amenities as well as super friendly owners. Lisa and Kermit go all out to make your stay special. There’s plenty of birds to marvel at and cozy fireplace to read by and jacuzzi tubs to soak in.

Staying at Eagle Rock Lodge was an absolute delight, thanks to the wonderful hospitality provided by our hosts, Kermit and Lisa. This quaint Bed and Breakfast offers a serene escape nestled in the stunning Oregon countryside. It’s the perfect spot for peaceful reading by the riverside or simply soaking in the natural beauty around you. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible breakfast experience. The dining area boasts a fantastic view of the river, the beautifully landscaped grounds, and the bird feeders, providing a delightful backdrop each morning. We were consistently greeted by the local wildlife, with the Stellar Jays becoming our personal favorites! Kermit and Lisa offered appetizers of fresh fruit bowls and freshly baked pastries, with a new treat presented daily. Following the appetizers, there is a small menu of breakfast entrees, each as wonderful as the last. This delicious start was perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring the nearby attractions. Eagle Rock Lodge is ideally situated, providing easy access to the nearby cities of Eugene and Springfield, which are just a short drive away. Additionally, it serves as an excellent base for those looking to explore local wineries, enjoy scenic hikes, or relax in nearby hot springs. Each adventure feels conveniently close, making the lodge a seamless starting point for various activities. Overall, Eagle Rock Lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and convenience, making it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

What a beautiful and peaceful spot! Lisa and Kermit are wonderful and thoughtful hosts. We enjoyed starting our day with a delicious breakfast looking out onto the lovely gardens, watching the birds and "happy time" in the afternoons. Our room (Osprey) was comfortable and clean (loved the sheets) and we had a fantastic view of the gardens and river. Thank you, Lisa and Kermit!

With all the Track & Field/UO events in Eugene, we needed lodging for one night and everything was booked out. I searched for adjacent lodging and found the Eagle Rock Resort. WOW - what an incredible find and location. We were blown away that we could be somewhere so beautiful that was only 35 mins out of Eugene. We'd driven by it many times on the way to Sisters, but never stopped. The property is beautiful and peaceful on the river; accommodations very nice and comfortable; and the great welcome greeting when we arrived set the entire tone for the trip. Breakfast in the morning - OMG, homemade and so delicious. We were unable to leisurely eat because we had to get to an appointment, but I've already booked our next stay. Can't wait!! Thank you, Kermit and Lisa, for such a great experience and being such gracious hosts. Highly recommend.

My wife and I recently stayed for 3 nights at Eagle Rock Lodge. The breakfast offerings were outstanding and equal to this was their customer service. Lisa and Kermit went out of their way in assisting with special requests and delivering beyond expectation. They are definitely customer centric to their credit. The location and lodge were fantastic and we will return for sure! Thank you Lisa and Kermit.

Yelp
This was our favorite place to stay AND breakfast of the entire road trip we did in Oregon! Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and started with homemade strawberry bread. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Beautiful grounds to walk around and peaceful McKenzie river out back. Would stay again.....and hopefully sooner than later!

Yelp
Has such a great experience at the Eagle Rock bed and breakfast! The view was just breathtaking as you pulled back the curtains from our room (Damselfly). Just a few short steps from the McKenzie river . Lisa and Kermit were very welcoming and my son apparently has had the best eggs ever in his life ! Lol Lisa's cooking is top tier! The rooms were very clean and inviting. I will definitely be back to experience Vida in the Spring !

Yelp
We stayed here for a few days with our son, daughter Inlaw & baby. We all had a wonderful time! The hosts, Kermit and Lisa, were amazing! Each morning they made us a delicious breakfast served with the baked item of the day, fruit, and juice. (The marion berry stuffed French toast was very good!) Every evening at 4:30, they served us drinks and an appetizer on the deck. The appetizers were delicious and different each night. We were also able to grill on the deck which we did two of the nights. There were plenty of dishes, silverware, & glasses that we were able to use for it. The grounds are kept up very well and it's very pretty at night with all the lights strung around. We sat by the river around the fire a couple of nights. They fished everyday and caught a lot of fish! Every morning, Lisa would fill the bird feeders and we would have quite a show of Stellar blue jays and other birds. Plus cute little chipmunks! Our room was the Dragonfly room which had a big fireplace and a big window facing the river. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Our son & daughter Inlaw had the room next to us. They had an extra bedroom in theirs which was good to have for their baby to sleep in. I would definitely recommend this amazing place! Kermit & Lisa are the nicest hosts!

Yelp
We booked the cheapest room and were quite pleased. It's very close to a reserved parking spot and there's a quaint patio set right near the front door. The bed was comfy, the heater worked well, water pressure was fine, and bathroom was stocked with ample towels. If you spend a little more you will get much more including a river view. There's wifi, but no TV...but that's a good thing. Hey, maybe put away that phone for the day. The breakfast was better than average, the homemade granola was a standout. The husband and wife team were very pleasant, are easily available by phone after hours, and are close by in case there's a problem. She turned us onto this unique awesome puzzle that kept our attention; we're gonna order one from the manufacturer. Sitting out by the river overlooking a tranquil scenery was my favorite part, as was watching a variety of birds through furnished binoculars. They are located about 20 miles from Belknap Hot Springs, which makes for a nice day trip or short stopover if you're exploring the McKenzie Pass. If you're arriving when it's dark be sure to note how many miles they are from an origination point. If not, you will divert your attention from the highway 126 trying to find the place and that's a very dangerous thing to do.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time staying at Eagle Rock Lodge! Lisa and Kermit were lovely hosts and the food was fresh and delicious.our room was clean and perfect for us.

Yelp
My wife and I had a great time at the Eagle Rock Lodge. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The grounds are beautiful. They were all decked out for the holidays, very inviting atmosphere. We spent the afternoon reading by the river and taking in the views. it is an incredible setting. However, the best part of staying there was the breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was plenty of it. I would highly recommend the Eagling;e Rocl Lodge to anybody traveling in this region.

Yelp
I stayed here for two nights after going on a yoga retreat in Marcola,OR. This place is amazing!!! I stayed inside the house. In the room Kingfisher, no river view. The room has everything I needed, microwave, bathroom, fridge and AC. Breakfast amazing. There's a menu on paper!!! I had the French toast, bacon and side of egg white. So much food here. Delish!!! Breakfast view of the river and garden. The only thing I was like ahhh. Was I wanted to take a nap after breakfast and heard that the next room was being cleaned, vacuum and the grass was being cut. But I have to ay it was like 11am. But I wanted to nap and couldn't couse of the noise. But at least it wasn't at 11pm. This place is amazing! The owners so friendly and talkative. Will be coming here for sure. I love it. So glad I stayed here. Thank you sooo much! From Cali 7/21018

Yelp
Had a Wonderful Weekend at Eagle Rock Lodge. The Osprey Room was perfect. The grounds are well kept and peaceful. Watching the Stellar Jays at Breakfast is entertaining. Also Grouse, Chipmunks and Squirrels. Each room has its special touch and are very comfortable. The view from the Osprey Room is amazing. Lisa and Kermit take very good care of their guests. Breakfast was heavenly. The Gurgling Fish Pitcher was fun to pour water from!

Yelp
We loved staying here. Robert and Nancy were wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Mayfly room which was comfortable and clean. Outside our room was a pretty patio by a water feature which we sat and enjoyed for a while. They served wine in the evening which we enjoyed as we took a walk along the gorgeous McKenzie river. Breakfast is served in the lodge with a view across their beautifully kept grounds to the river. The Marionberry french toast was delicious as was everything else on the breakfast table. Having driven in from Denver, this inn was a wonderful, peaceful starting point for our week in Willamette Valley, but it would also be a great place to stay for several days. The surrounding area is lush and beautiful, and their grounds fit in perfectly with the setting. I could go on and on about all the perfect little details, but suffice it to say, I definitely recommend this inn for a peaceful place to stay a while. You may just not want to leave.

Yelp
A very special five days at a very special place. The atmosphere, the visual beauty- all truly memorable and amazing. A place to feel the soul. Kermit and Lisa are precious for inspiration, creative, and delicious breakfast and happy hour- excellent in every way. Thank you Kermit and Lisa for the privilege.

Josie M.

Yelp
This was the sweetest b&b. Robert was wonderful and the room was tasteful, homey, and everything we wanted. The views, food, wine, and home-made chocolate chip cookies...a perfect cabin get away. For breakfast they had a vegan tofu scramble option that was really delicious. Definitely coming back next time we pass through town!

Emm D.

Yelp
Our weekend at Eagle Rock Lodge was perfection. The hosts have the entire property organized and arranged to make guests feel right at home. Situated on the river, they welcomed us to let our pup explore the grounds with us; we watched the bald eagles fly overhead from the comfort of one of the many cozy seating areas. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious as described and after the evening wine hour we spent a lovely, cozy night, awaking to endless coffee and a welcoming breakfast. We are quite picky when it comes to cleanliness and organization and we were absolutely pleased by this stay. This is truly the work of talented, experienced innkeepers. What a great getaway! We (and our dog) will be back!

Yelp
WOW. It doesn't get better than this place. Just gorgeous and incredible service. BUT during these odd COVID times, if you practice social distancing, staying here might make you uncomfortable. Chef Bernadette and Nancy take their masks off halfway through meals and were so close they literally touched us, even after having a long conversation about my COVID concerns. I requested to have dinner outside for safety, and it was dismissed as being too cold (and to be fair - I didn't have the full conversation with them I should have). Breakfast is served indoors less than 6 feet away from other guests. It was a great stay otherwise, and what's done is done, but it's honestly all I can think about post-visit to this gorgeous property with wonderful hosts. Apparently the Eugene and Bend area is pretty lax in terms of social distancing, so it's likely all hotels are operating this way.

Yelp Y.

Yelp
the room was nice, the host was friendly, and the food was grate, also the location was on a grate part of the MacKenzie River and the whole loge was filled with bird feeders and lots of plants the one thing that they need is hooks to hang jackes and fishing gear.

Billy M.

Yelp
Loved this place!!! Robert and Nancy are kind! They take pride in their business. We stayed here and traveled back and forth to U of O for graduation. They always had breakfast ready for us. The location is awesome. I'd like to go back and sit on the lawn in front of the river for a few days.

Beth V.

Yelp
We received a warm welcome. Then I put my tired feet in the refreshing McKenzie River after hiking Blue Pool and beautiful waterfalls! What a lovely evening at this beautiful B&B! Can't wait for breakfast in the morning!

Denise R.

Yelp
This is one of the best experiences I've ever had at a b&b. I'm actually more of a hotel person, but without hesitation, I would stay here again. The grounds, which are river front are nothing short of spectacular. Manicured gardens with little areas you can relax in and watch the McKenzie flow by. My room was the Fireplace room which has huge windows and great views of the yard and river. There is no tv, but I didn't really miss it because the feel of this property is so spectacular, I really felt like just communing with nature instead of watching the boob tube. Reading a book down by the river was better than any tv show! Breakfast was amazing each morning. Fresh fruit, little individual egg cups baked in bacon rings, fresh baked scones, homemade yeast waffles...how will I ever be happy again having just toast for breakfast?! The owner Debbie and her staff are very approachable and it's clear they are good at what they do. It's rare to find this level of hospitality. Can you tell, I loved my stay? I'm daydreaming, or should I say fantasizing about a return visit. If you have the opportunity to go, do yourself a favor and book your stay as soon as you can. I highly recommend the Fireplace Room.

Daniel G.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Great service, clean, quiet and the views are indescribable! The hot springs are 30 minutes away which was very convenient. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was cozy.

Yelp
New owners. My husband and I were married here 10 years ago and it was lovely. I have fond memories. I recently stopped by as I was in the area and interested in possibly staying for our anniversary. As I pulled in I was met by the new owner who essentially told me I wasn't welcome there. She was so abrupt and rude I was taken aback. I mentioned that I had been married there, and before I could finish my sentence she told me they were booked for the night. I tried to explain that I wasn't interested in staying THAT night, but her mind was made up- we needed to leave. I was heartbroken and left saying, "I guess we won't be back" to which she responded,"That's fine". Just wow. Not a welcoming environment AT ALL. I guess if you're going to stay there, you aren't going to get to check out the place first. Hope you already know what you want and can trust the website descriptions and photos bc the guard dog isn't going to let you take a peek! The previous owners were so friendly, I'm so sad this property has changed hands. I don't know how they are going to make a go of this business with their attitudes. I guess by riding off of the goodwill of the past owners. Very sad indeed.

Miriam B.

Yelp
We had a lovely romantic weekend. The songbird room was nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed, luxury linens and a jetted tub for two. A bonus was that our dog was welcome. Nancy and Robert are stellar hosts. Wine in the afternoons, chocolaty treats in the evenings and breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, home baked scones and a choice of entrees. To top it off, my husband caught (and released) two large native cutthroat trout. My only regret is that we didn't arrange for Chef Carl to make us dinner. We will have to do that next time.

Eliza A.

Yelp
Lovely stay at Eagle Rock Lodge which is right on the beautiful McKenzie River. So peaceful. Perfect for exploring the area and waterfalls. Robert and Nancy are wonderful hosts. Excellent breakfast from Robert and sinfully yummy baked goods from Nancy. We would recommend this beautiful lodge and will be repeat visitors. Thank you!

Jen B.

Yelp
This is a peaceful little bed and breakfast on the water! I was able to book a room only 2 days in advance, which was a cute, very clean, cottage type room with a patio. It had a very comfortable bed, and had a great view of the grounds and river. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They offer a wine hour, and the breakfast was delicious. This place is wonderful. It's quiet, beautiful, and romantic. You can lay on the hammock for hours, read, and enjoy the gorgeous woodsy views. I would definitely stay here again.

Kaler C.

Yelp
I had one very distinct issue with this Lodge, I had only booked one night and that is Just Not Enough! Listen, if you are looking for the fast paced, action packed, T.V. watching style this might not be you. If the absolute absorption of peace and serenity is what you are looking for, you have found the perfect solution. In reading other reviews, any negatives came from prior ownership without a negative word in the past 5 years. Grab a book, the desire you decompress and book more nights than I did. You will not be sorry!

Luke S.

Yelp
This was the highlight of our trip. The people were amazing, the place was great, the food was superb, and the McKenzie river was just delightful.

Betsy F.

Yelp
While we didn't choose this venue for our wedding, it was our second favorite!!! This place was BEAUTIFUL. I loved everything about this inn and plan to go and stay there just because someday. The rooms have an elegant old world feel t them, they look elegant, masculine and simply beautiful! The outside of the inn is just as stunning! It's snuggled close to the river and everything over looks the rivers beauty; the deck, fire-pit, lounge area & dinning area! The innskeeper said they have had outdoor weddings with 500+ people there, so there is lots of room! The inn can sleep 12 people (it's either 12 or 21 can't remember), which is too small for my needs, but if you only need some of your closest friends to stay with you during your wedding, I say go for a viewing. They lady was so wonderful and nice. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Lizzi W.

Yelp
I stayed here for two nights last year, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Truly one of the most peaceful, serene places I have ever been. The lodge and rooms look like they're out of a painting. I read a book in a hammock by the water and I don't think I've ever been that relaxed. Food and hospitality were wonderful. We loved our fresh breakfast each morning - and lots of vegetarian choices!! I can't wait to go back one day.

Kathleen C.

Yelp
Eagle Rock Lodge is a very nice B&B... Pico Bello rooms, BUT I would not stay here again... We arrived around 630pm and were greeted by a man who later appeared to another guest. He knew where we were from etc (Hello? Privacy??) He told us Debbie, the inn keeper, would be there in minute. We had an early dinner on our way to the b&b, but when we got there, there was some kind of 'party' going on with a local chef preparing dinner. We were invited to join, but since we already ate and wanted to enjoy a quit evening, we declined the offer. It was basically impossible for us to hang out the way we planned without other guest asking us questions about who we are and where we're from etc. So we just stayed in our room in order to get some privacy. Breakfast was served around 9am (don't remember the exact hour), which was rather late for us. Again, there was an enormous privacy issue there. We sat at the table with 4 other guests, answering all their questions... We didn't tell the inn keeper, since we didn't want to be rude, but if we would have known it was going to be like this, we would have requested privacy at the time we made the reservation. Don't get me wrong here, Debbie the inn keeper was very nice and is doing a fantastic job and the other guest were all nice people... we are just two people with very busy lives and jobs and therefore like our privacy when we are on vacation. Now the actual inn: We had the honeymoon suite. Nice and spacious room with funny little details like little books on how to get a long with mothers in law :-) The room had a jacuzzi and a separate shower. There's no TV, but that didn't bother us. The breakfast Debbie makes is to die for. Multiple courses, healty, well balanced and most important: yummie!

Anna J.

Yelp
We live in Eugene and came to Eagle Rock for the night. Even though it's only 30 minutes from town it was worth it. You feel miles away. Just one night away brought rest and relaxation that a full vacation would bring. The breakfast was 3 courses of excellent food. The grounds were meticulously groomed and the room had the right accoutrements required. Well worth the 30 minutes out of town. I would recommend it for a local to just get away for the night.

Joanne D.

Yelp
Heaven on Earth! Super comfy beds, stunning grounds, delicious breakfasts and the list goes on and on! We loved it and will be back!

Joe W.

Yelp
Decided to come out here from Eugene and spend the night on a random Saturday. So happy we did! Very comfortable, clean and well maintained with an incredible back yard along the river. Numerous little seating areas in the gardens and a fire pit on the river. We don't fish but a couple other guests were fly fishing on the river bank. Most surprising part was the breakfast. Wow it was delicious. A sort of spicy quiche with mango salsa and rosemary ham on the side. Fresh fruit and orange juice plus good coffee. Would have been a $40 breakfast for the two of us at a restaurant and makes the price of the room seem downright cheap. Excited to come back again.

Sheila L.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here three nights when we traveled to Oregon to attend graduation at the University of Oregon. I could not have improved one little thing. It was really that impeccable. The sense of well-being settled on me the moment we arrived on the property. Every detail of the common areas and our room was intentional and gorgeous. Different matching coffee mugs every morning in our room? Yes. Understated, warm, thoroughly executed style that said, "relax. unwind"? Yes. Charming, knowledgeable hostess? Yes. Privacy respected? Yes. Food that is beyond incredible? Yes, that too. Just go there. Now.

Marie V.

Yelp
We stayed here for three nights and it was fabulous!! I am not a bed and breakfast kind of person but this experience was so exceptional that I felt more like I was at a relaxing spa retreat. The room was beautiful with a wonderful view of the river and well groomed property. The breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Nancy and Robert were charming hosts who made you feel right at home. We will definitely be back!!

Jeanne B.

Yelp
We really loved staying here. Nancy & Robert were the best hosts. We loved the accommodations, the setting, & the breakfast was amazing. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Vanessa L.

Yelp
The lodge was beautiful, and I had a wonderful time celebrating my cousin's wedding. Unfortunately, I had an accident there and tried to handle it the best I could. However, the lady who runs the place, Debbie, wouldn't let me get away with saying sorry 20 times. She tracked me down outside amongst the other guests, and completely embarrassed me with family and strangers around. Instead of bringing me into her office to discuss how to handle the issue, or even making sure I was OK, right then and there she condescendingly vented at me about how she just dealt with the same issue two weeks ago with a previous guest. Debbie was making horrible comments, so I asked her if we could continue the conversation without judgment, because again, I was still very sorry! I told her I would cover ANY charges she needed to make, and left. I didn't see her the rest of my stay. She sent her husband to deal with me the rest of the time, who also made me feel terrible. Nothing about how they handled to problem was kind or understanding or even vaguely sympathetic. Like I said, the place was wonderful, but for the service and honestly, pretty traumatic experience on my part, I will never go back. I have only worked jobs where customer service is the main priority. I've been a manager at a bakery, so I've been forced to handle some ridiculous issues the best I can. But NEVER, have I spoken to someone the way Debbie did to me. Never has an owner/manager made me feel the way she did. One star, because the lodge itself is great. Just mean owners.

Mark H.

Yelp
A slice of heaven. Nancy and Robert put their heart and soul into this place. So relaxing with the view of the river Unforgettable Great host and the the breakfast so delicious. Highly recommend!!!!

K S.

Yelp
We had a delightful, quaint and relaxing weekend here. Ownership was friendly and accommodating, delicious breakfast, adorable dog and gorgeous location. Our bed was outrageously comfortable too. We arranged for a chef's dinner with Carl on Saturday, I highly recommend it! Good cook and good company. All around fun and easy weekend getaway.

Steven M.

Yelp
My wife and I used Eagle Rock as the perfect location of our wedding. The owner was very friendly and allowed our families to visit the location many times before the actual wedding date. She even allowed some people check in early on Friday so we had a place to hold luggage while going on a rafting trip. The owner and her staff made a delicious from scratch breakfast every morning for us and our guests. The room my wife and I stayed in (Meadow View) had the best view by far and was very elegant. The grounds were beautiful! Being in the mountains and right on the McKenzie River was unbeatable and was one of the main reasons we chose this location. The only slight issue we noticed was the mole hill problem throughout the lawn. We also found some issues with some of the outlets to plug in lights. Overall Eagle Rock was a beautiful location for a wedding and stay. Highly recommend this location for any event or getaway!!

Terri K.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and were positively delighted with everything about our stay. I read some of the previous reviews and wanted to add that the current owners have only had the place about 2 or so years, so the 2012 reviews are for the previous owners. The lodge itself is charming with lots of personal touches, both inside and out. The setting on the river with big trees is so relaxing. The gardens are full of colorful flowers and birds are everywhere! Our room was very private, spacious, and comfortable. Hosts Nancy and Robert are friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously love what they are doing. Breakfast is something to brag about, unlike any B&B we have ever been to. Fresh fruit and fresh baked scones or muffins in the morning with fresh juice and coffee. Then the topper, two sensational breakfast entrees, made-to-order, different each day and equally delicious! We had Saturday night dinner with Chef Carl and that meal was also fabulous! Everything is done right here, beautiful setting, comfortable rooms, afternoon wine, incredible view, close to gorgeous hikes and waterfalls, and caring hosts. This is a place that should not be missed, a true relaxing destination.

Toby S.

Yelp
Eagle Rock Lodge was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding 8/4/18. Nancy was attentive to details during the planning process of our wedding weekend and very responsive to emails and phone calls. She was flexible to our breakfast requests and our wedding party that stayed at the lodge were blown away by Nancy's hospitality. Eagle Rock Lodge is beautiful with each room being unique, clean, and comfortable. My husband, dog and I stayed in the "Songbird" room with the extra private outdoor area for 4 nights and loved it! The Mckenzie river was so peaceful and the flowers and grounds are lush and lovely. We have all invested in "gurgle pots" after our delicious breakfasts that Nancy and Robert provided. I would highly recommend Nancy and Eagle Rock Lodge for your wedding, overnight stay or anything else. We will definitely be back (and so will my family and friends)!!

Gwynne M.

Yelp
I have stayed here a half a dozen times, and the Innkeepers, Debbie and Randy are the nicest people, who will accomodate reasonable people. Their attention to detail and efforts to make their guests comfortable are triple A. Not to mention the location....simple stunning! And the breakfast , well, its superb! I read the other reviews, and am suprised at some....what B&B gives private dining? Really? Its not room service. Any how, I highly reccommend Eagle Rock. Its fabulous!
