Beautiful scenery and good photo taking opportunities. Food is a little on the expensive side but worth the experience. Some restaurants you can eat for $12-15/pp, however some are $30+/pp. Would be amazing to watch the sunset here! Also has a nice boardwalk if you are into walking by the water.

I'm so in love with this place. The view is outstanding. Its quite busy with alot of people biking and running along the water way. I have been here on multiple occasions to dine, drink or even just catch the city cat across the water. I plan to get an apartment here one day soon.

Nice spot for an early morning cooked breakfast. Amazing views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. Lots of choices of where to eat. Meet up with friends for a memorable day. Enjoy a walk or bicycle ride after, along the esplanade. One of Brisbane's little secrets worth hunting out.

This is the central river hub where all the ferries come and where the riverboats live. It is a great location of restaurants and cafes overlooking the water. I saw the Riverboat office and did the Christmas lunch tour from here..

Great view of the river and story bridge. This is a much better place to see the New Year's Eve fireworks than the crowded southbank park.

Beautiful area! Within walking distance to the CBD and botanical gardens. Beautiful outlook over the river, with boats moored in front and Kangaroo Points cliffs towering up on the other side. The high rise architectural design here is phenominal. There are walking and bike tracks all along the river. The cafes here cater to the high class consumer with a diverse range of cultural gastronomy on offer (i.e.; latin, asian, western cuisine etc and coffee). Unfortunately the area lacks options for those on a lower budget. Otherwise it is a very pituresque area, well worth investigating!

A great area for entertainment & travelling over the Brisbane river! My girlfriend and I court the free ferry City hopper to Holeman Pier to go to the Storey Bridge! A very upmarket restaurant!

Yelp
This end of town, which used to be a bit of a no-man's land, has undergone a serious makeover during the last decade or so. And the rather swanky Eagle Street Pier is one of the results of that multi-million dollar investment. Although now a food fetishist's hotspot (with award winning restaurants including Matt Moran's ARIA, Il Centro, Cha Cha Char, George's Paragon Seafood Restaurant and Saké) in the 1800s Eagle Street Pier used to be one of our main wharves. So it's been around for 150 years. And I have to say, for such an old bird, she's still looking pretty damn good (with just a little help from her friends). If you don't fancy splashing the cash, then there's the more casual places to grab something to eat including Jude, The Coffee Club, Shingle Inn Café, gourmet burger restaurant Grill'd, sushi restaurant Nagomi, and pizza and espresso bar Stellarossa. And of course, there's nightspot Jade Buddha; Bavarian Bier Cafe; and you're also metres away from the lovely Siana bar/restaurant (part of the Riperian Plaza complex). Don't want to spend any money at all? There's plenty of places to just sit, soak up the atmos and admire the river views. For free.

Yelp
After a rather sad period during which you were more likely to see a vacant shopfront than a dinner menu, the Eagle Street Pier is better than ever. It's a good thing too; it would be a shame for that view to go to waste. I'm generally in the area during the day, but I've passed through at night as well and found the area busy and bursting with atmosphere. New to the scene is gourmet burger chain Grill'd, lunchtime hotspot Jude, Bento Box specialists Nagomi, Japanese restaurant Sake, café Stella Rossa, and a Brisbane installation of the Bavarian Bier Café. On the fine dining front, steak restaurant Cha Cha Char has expanded with Organic Char, Aria is popular as ever, and Il Centro and George's Paragon are as popular as ever. For the party people, local favourite Jade Buddha is just around the corner. Eagle Street Pier has finally become the sort of hotspot its fantastic location on the Brisbane river deserves, and is well worth a visit day or night.

Yelp
Eagle Street Pier is an excellent place to take people out for a night out on the town. Whether it be a dinner outing with the family, a girls night out or even a hot date, you'll be sure to find something suitable for your evening. Best for family dinner on Eagle St Pier: - Aria - Cha Cha Char - Georges Paragon - Il Centro Restaurant - Shingle In - Grill'd Best for girls night out on Eagle St Pier: - Jade Buddha - Fridays - Sake - Nagomi - Bavarian Bier Cafe - Il Centro Restaurant and Bar Best for hot date on Eagle St Pier: - Nagomi - Bavarian Bier Cafe - Il Centro Restaurant and Bar - Cha Cha Char - Jade Buddha - Fridays - Aria

Yelp
Eagle Street Pier is a classy dining and drinking experience. This is not particularly a place for those of short stature in terms of money. They do have grill'd and another takeaway place, but better cheap food would be in the city. Friday's is the only cheap drinking, but the nicer bars in the area are really designed and managed well. They also get extremely popular. Blackbird is my favorite, river bar is more relaxed but popping, and jade Buddha is known for the younger crowd to drink before going out. The really shining stars of this place are the fine dining food options: Aria, Sake, Cha Cha Char, Jellyfish, and more. I have eaten at a few of these places and yes, they are some of the finest dining experiences in the entire Brisbane area. Definitely a place to stop as a tourist or a great formal date night for an anniversary or special occasion like birthday. The citycat ferry has a station right here and most places overlook the story bridge. The only thing I really despise is that in front of the hog they have these machines that emit a horrible screeching to prevent the bats from coming in. Anyone under about 25 can hear it, and it prevents me from being around that part of eagle street pier. Other than that, it's great! I love walking through here, it makes you appreciate the beauty of Brisbane! It's expensive, but worth it.
