Eagle View Guest House

Had an excellent two night stay at Eagle View in Newtonmore last weekend. Incredibly friendly hospitality. Rooms are very very comfortable - clean, modern, bright and well stocked. Breakfast was amazing - I had full Scottish both days with a large pot of filter coffee. Would highly recommend staying here, really lovely family run business!

What a superb bed & breakfast, we stayed for one night , warmly greeted and given a beautifully appointed en suite double room, really nice touches with quality coffee machine available which hit the spot. Bathroom spotless, spacious and lovely toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels. We could use a residents lounge again with complimentary hot drinks. Breakfast was superb, great menu offerings to choose from. We both agreed breakfast at Eagle View was generous, creatively presented and our favourite whilst enjoying our Scottish holiday. Slept very well, great value when you consider all that was on offer. Would definitely recommend you stay here if visiting Newtonmore. Thankyou to the lovely family who looked after us here.

From the minute we arrived, we were impressed. Pretty little town. Pretty setting. Gorgeous country home with a wonderful hostess. The room was tastefully appointed with all the amenities one would want in a B@B. Dinner, as recommended by our hostess, was excellent at a near by hotel. The morning breakfast left nothing to be desired and our farewell was nicely rounded by a visit from Molly, the family dog. |Thank you Moira for your hospitality.

Arrived at this guest house when walking the East Highland Way. Greeted with a very warm welcome and shown about the guest house. Rooms were perfect with a great showering facility. Breakfast in the morning was incredible! A great selection that I wasn’t expecting. My friend took unwell through the night and the lady was quick to offer to deliver room service for him to try help him - Thank you. Definitely worth a stay here if visiting the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Great welcome. (And concern that we should book somewhere to eat at night as there isn’t a great deal of choice in the wee village. We had - so all was well.) Sparklingly clean room and bathroom. Superb breakfast. Wonderful selection of fresh and cooked food for breakfast. High quality bacon. Excellent golden yellow scrambled eggs with fresh spinach.

A real gem of a guesthouse! Beautifully refurbished recently, Eagle View offers a level of luxury and comfort you rarely see. Rooms are also quite spacious, and the bed was comfy. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel very welcome and helped us with a couple of extra requests. Breakfast was all made to order, excellent all the way! Location is excellent, only a few minutes’ walk to the town centre with several restaurants and cafes.

An absolutely amazing place to stay, with lots of great hikes around and a fabulous breakfast to match. Would heartily recommend.

Eagleview is a beautiful house made into such an inviting home. It felt very homely and the owner and her family were just as welcoming. We stayed in room 4 with the bath which was an added bonus! Breakfast was fantastic, I would recommend the waffles! Nice treat to start you up for the day!

Did not honor their 24 cancellation policy even when we cancelled 10 days ahead of the check in date. They received our cancellation email (because they did respond to it) but they did not cancel our reservation. When we emailed them back to question why we did not get a cancellation they went silent. No more responses to our emails. Having to file a credit card dispute.
