I was hoping for stellar views but the trees keep you focused on the course. No beer cart. Decent course at a great price. Book online.

Always enjoy playing Eagles Nest! Neat design and always in good shape. Ample driving areas, a bit of course knowledge helps. The breakfast buffet at the Lodge is a good starter to your day and great for after round burger! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

The course all around looked great. But they charge each person for a cart fee even if you are riding together. We also got accused of driving on the tee boxes which we weren't doing and afterwards get followed and watched like a hawk by one of the workers for the next 3 holes. Will not be returning.

The course is in tremendous shape. Tee to green extremely well maintained. The greens are large with endless potential placements. The views and wildlife create a perfect blend of scenery. Its challenging but fair.

I feel that I'm being completely fair here when I say that this course is in fantastic condition. This would have been a five-star review, however.. got chastised in the beginning by the golf manager on the golf cart because I brought the one back that I had taken and I was having problems with the break. He was assuming that I was slamming on the brake pedal and that I probably broke it and I was lectured on the fact that I need to call them before I just come back and get another cart. I was actually told by the starting marshal that I could just come back and get another cart which I told him that. Now in fairness later on without going into too much detail he did apologize for that. He explained the situation and I understand there's situations where people were abusing the brake system. Technically I would have saw past that however they had like no water dispensers on the entire course with the exception of one bathroom that had a water container on the front nine that connected on to 17 if you were on the back nine which would have been the only time you could get water between holes 10 and 18. They also had a vending machine that cost $2.30 for a drink or $2.60 for a Powerade and if you didn't pay attention if you picked a Powerade you get a sunkist. Make sure you bring plenty of water because I had to bum a couple of bottles off the group we were playing with. Otherwise I may have risked getting heat stroke and dehydration. There's also no water holes which is kind of unheard of since it's on lake guntersville. The price point was really good which also allowed me to go four instead of three stars. Honestly if amenities such as having somebody at least going around in a cart selling drinks or more places to get water or refill your bottle with water, this would have probably been a five.

Course is in good shape with the exception of the sand traps. However, you guys need to mow the rough. Some areas are over a foot high. It just slows play down far too much.

Nice rolling hills, rough was very rough and had a tendency to eat your golf balls if you hit one in there. A lot of fun to play

Fantastic course and in excellent condition! The best course I've had the experience to play. This is my favorite course as of now, being from Oklahoma and playing courses in Colorado, Texas, and Louisiana. As a plus, the views are beautiful at each hole of the course. Overall, I'd recommend this course to anyone wanting to play a fun yet challenging, well maintained course with wonderful scenery.
