We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Nest III. The space was well presented, peaceful, and ideal for a quiet getaway. Two highlights stood out during our visit. Sitting in the milk vat bath late at night with the silhouette of Mount Roland outlined against a clear, starlit sky was a memorable experience. Equally impressive was waking up to a beautiful view of the same mountain in the morning light. Overall, Nest III offered a very comfortable and scenic base for a relaxing stay. We’d happily recommend it to others looking for a restful escape in a stunning location.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Eagles Nest 1. The view was nothing short of phenomenal — truly breathtaking and so peaceful. The cabin itself was cosy, clean, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It felt like a real home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature. We would definitely love to return!

An Unforgettable Escape – Pure Luxury at Eagles Nest II From the moment we arrived at Eagles Nest II in West Kentish, we knew we had found something truly special. Perched in a stunning pocket of Tasmania, its more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. The panoramic views of Mount Roland and the surrounding countryside are simply breathtaking and change beautifully throughout the day. Every detail inside the property exudes luxury and comfort. The interiors are thoughtfully designed with a perfect blend of modern elegance and cosy warmth. The fireplaces, plush furnishings, and expansive windows create an atmosphere of relaxation and indulgence. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to settle in, but it was the hot tub under the stars that was all inviting. The hosts have gone above and beyond to create a peaceful, private sanctuary, with thoughtful touches throughout, including local gourmet provisions and a tasty welcome hamper. Waking up to birdsong and mist rolling over the hills was pure magic. It’s a luxury base to explore Cradle Mountain, and unwind, reconnecting with nature. Eagles Nest II was perfect. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. In a nutshell, it’s simply a world-class escape. We highly recommend it for couples and families alike.

I recently stayed at Eagles Nest Retreat for a work retreat, and it was honestly one of the most memorable places I’ve ever been. Each accommodation had stunning views of Mt Roland—waking up to that every morning was something special. It gave the whole trip a peaceful, grounding vibe that really helped us focus and recharge. The facilities were excellent—everything we needed was there, and it all felt thoughtfully put together. The decor was tasteful without being over the top, and the Tasmanian toiletries were a nice touch that made the stay feel a bit more personal and local. It was the kind of place where you could get work done, but also take a moment to breathe and appreciate where you are. I’d definitely go back, whether for work or just to unwind.

Eagles Nest Retreat not only gave me wonderful memories, it also gave me some truly amazing photos. Waking up just on sunrise, the breathtaking views of sunlight orange slowly illuminating the top of Mt Roland, displayed the grandeur of its peaks and valleys. What a beautiful way to start my day. Mr Roland is striking in its beauty, whether it be bathed in the morning mist of sunrise or its calm serenity throughout the day. Your accommodation is built in such a way that each window perfectly illuminates its majestic presence, and, like a Picasso painting, it left me speechless. Couple this with the luxurious rooms, welcoming spaces, floor to ceiling windows and the indoor and outdoor hot spa's, the tranquility of the setting is brought right into the accommodation itself. Perfect for a girls weekend away or any getaway. Thank you for the most gratifying weekend. I am eager to repeat this luxurious experience.

Regardinging Eagle's Nest #1: What an amazing location. I'm sure the house would have been just as amazing as the landscape if it wasn't so run down and tired. Whomever is responsible for management and maintenance of EN#1 needs a swift kick up the pants! How dare you let such an amazing space be so poorly presented and maintained! Especially when the rates are so expensive and you don't even bother to provide any support or service to your guests once they've coughed up the cash for the booking... We booked through an elopement service and stayed 07 and 08/08/2025. We got married here on the 8th and all the elopement vendors were absolutely beautiful. Thank you to all of you for your help and making our day amazing! Back to EN#1. Here is a list of how our stay was diminished: - the back door has sometime in the past been kicked in. The attempted repair looks and feels like it's been done by a blind man using his feet. It does not feel secure at all. - we couldn't use the upstairs shower because the low water pressure has the water dribbling out of the loose shower heads. Furthermore it's a twin shower and there's no way to isolate either shower rose. Making the low pressure issue worse. We had to walk up and down the stairs just to have a shower. - the upstairs fridge does not keep anything cold and the cabinet it's kept in is damage and rotting away. - the screen door to the upstairs balcony is off its rollers and cannot be slid to open. I had to lift it up to move it to its open position. - we brought groceries knowing it was self contained and had a bbq. When I went to cook a beautiful dinner for my fiancèe on the BBQ the gas bottle was completely empty. No worries, just change the bottle. So we rang the property manager. No one bothered to answer the phone. No one bothered to call us back. No one bothered to bring around a replacement gas bottle. On the day of our marriage we did receive a facetious voice message via text joking about being a "farm boy" and saying "i hope everything worked out". They know very well that the problem wasn't resolved as they did nothing to resolve the problem. - there is no outdoor bath as advertised in the property description and the EN#1 guest guide. We were not advised that this had been removed before we paid our expensive rate for the booking. - the remote control for the TV sound bar is dead. The actual sound bar is dangling from some dodgy brackets off the bottom of the wall mounted TV. It's just resting on its keyhole hooks with bolts that aren't attached properly (probably the same work of the pedially gifted blind handyman who has molested the back door). It almost fell off and dropped to the ground when I pressed the on button. - the couch in the lounge room is just weird. I'm certain it's supposed to rotate (it's advertised in the property description as a rotating couch), but surprise! surprise! it's broken and just wobbles and shifts around as you try to enjoy its comfy cushions... The architects and landscapers must be celebrated! The house is set perfectly in its position in the amazing landscape and the views are inspiring! It's just that the people who manage the property just don't give a snaboodle about it, or their paying guests, or providing support to their paying guests. Our experience left us feeling taken advantage of and with the impression that all the property managers care about is taking your money. It could have been amazing. But it wasn't.

I've stayed at Eagle Nest Retreat multiple times, and it never disappoints. It's peaceful, quite, and the views of Mount Roland are beautiful. Watching the sun rise over Mount Roland whilst lying in bed is a lovely way to start the day. Eagle Nest is the perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a lovely escape in Tasmania.

Beautiful Eagles Nest Retreat was the perfect place for our girls’ weekend getaway. Perfectly positioned to capture the most magical views of Mount Roland, this is the perfect place to unwind. We enjoyed sipping champagne in the outdoor spa, and had plenty of exotic rooms to choose from in Nest 2. This is the perfect place for a weekend hideaway! 😊
