Eagles Palace, Ouranoupolis, Greece - Explore & Book

"This contemporary-cool beach resort on the Halkidiki peninsula of mainland Greece offers all you could possibly want from a sunny holiday. There's a golden sandy beach lapped by shallow warm waters; great for paddling or snorkelling amongst silvery fish. There's a big heated pool with a swim-up bar (don't miss the frozen cocktails), plus a splash pool for little ones. There's even an open-air theatre for entertainment under the stars. Lovely bedrooms are decked out in seaside-bright shades, with space for 2-4 people, and sea views if you splurge. And there are 4 different restaurants, plus snacks at the beach bar for laid-back lunches. But the best thing about Eagles Palace is the tranquility and sense of space – there are over 150 rooms, but you'd never know it. Thanks to oodles of communal space, nowhere feels crowded, and the resort actually feels quite compact to stroll around; one reason why it has the Small Luxury Hotels stamp of approval. Staff are faultless – everything is done with big smiles. And whilst you can tear yourself away to visit the Mount Athos monasteries and Amouliani island, don't feel that you should. Take advantage of the superb childcare so you can slip off for a hot-stone massage or go wake-boarding, then have dinner as the sun descends into a blazing orange sky. Highs A stunning natural location, but just 2 hours from Thessaloniki (direct flights from Europe) Wonderful staff run a tight ship and constantly surprise with sweet little gestures Gourmet-Greek flavours in the upmarket Kamares restaurant; think fish roe with carob-bread, shrimps and sea fennel A long, beautiful beach with calm clear waters and tiki-shaded loungers – there are lots more loungers than guests The awesome Kids Clubs: paddle-boarding and water-skiing for older children, cooking and collage for toddlers, and film nights for all at the open air theatre Lows Larger than most i-escape hotels, with over 150 rooms – though they're nicely set amongst olive and pine trees; for more privacy, head up the hill to smaller sister resort Eagles Villas The cheapest rooms are quite small; for longer stays, we'd recommend a Suite or a Bungalow We found the food at Melathron, where you eat if you book half-board, less good than the other restaurants Drinks are expensive by Greek standards" - Liz Simpson

A 5* stay for our family. We recently returned from 10 days at Eagles Palace & have already highly recommended to many people. I’ve said location 4 stars due to how far it is from the airport, plus the rooms 4 star just because I don’t think they’re as nice as the rest of the hotel. The actual location is unbelievable though - right on its own beautiful private beach. We had a big buggy with us & one annoying thing was having to get up and down quite a few stairs to get to the pool, otherwise it was very buggy friendly. Our 3 children attended the Scott Dunn kids club a few days and could not recommend this more. They did so many activities, they actually didn’t want to leave! The staff were ever so friendly & helpful & the main standout for us was the food. Every restaurant we loved & definitely the best buffet we’ve had. The self drive boat trip we did was a highlight for us. It was so lovely to explore the islands. The sea is the most unbelievable colour, so clear & warm. Loved every second.

We had an amazing stay at Eagles Palace everything was a perfect 10/10. The food was excellent, and the staff were always welcoming, greeting us with a smile and constantly checking in to make sure everything was going well. A special thanks to the office desk manager , who was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. Her professionalism and willingness to assist made our stay even smoother and more enjoyable. One unique highlight of our stay was the pastry lesson we got to experience – it was absolutely fantastic and added a special touch to our trip. Highly recommended if you’re staying there! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone – whether you’re a couple or a family. The beach areas are thoughtfully separated: one section offers peace and quiet, while another has a livelier atmosphere if that’s what you’re after. The rooms were spotless – cleanliness is clearly a top priority here, and there’s honestly nothing to critique. A special mention goes to the girls working in the restaurant all of them were wonderful, but two in particular stood out: one from Albania and another from Ukraine. They left a great impression with their kindness and professionalism. I would sincerely recommend Eagles Palace without hesitation.☺️☺️

Absolutely loved our holiday at Eagles Palace staying in Bungalow 12, our view was amazing and just a few steps down to the Quiet beach. We decided to do the Bon Vivant and we had plenty of food to choose from. Armyra was a welcome retreat at lunchtime and enjoyed it in the evening too. Patio Bistro and the Beach Canteen were also serving delicious food. The buggy up to Lofos was great and the food was absolutely mouth watering along with the fabulous service from Anastasia and Sotirous. We also enjoyed Vinum and breakfast in Melathron too. The icing on the cake was Kamares which we were lucky to visit twice in our stay and George was true gentleman on both occasions with the added gorgeous sunset to accompany our delicious meals. We loved the beach with Thalia serving us lemon or peach tea and iced Greek coffee's. All the staff that we came in contact with were welcoming and approachable. Demetrius the Bar manager remembered our drinks each evening without hesitation, running a smooth ship in the Bar and in the Beach Canteen. We were really touched that the general Manager Vasilis went out of his way for feedback and to see how our holiday was going if we bumped into him around the resort. On our last day he asked us to mention to reception when we were checking out and he took the time out of his day to come and say goodbye and talk to us about his plans for the future in the hotel, his life and our experience of the hotel. We sadly had to leave this beautiful resort however with the exceptional service we received and the stunning location we will return as Vasilis gave us his business card:)

I had a fantastic experience at Iglas-Palace Hotel. The restaurant team made me feel at home from the very first day – always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. The food was delicious, but it was the atmosphere and care that really stood out. Special thanks to Konstantin, who managed everything with such warmth and professionalism. His personal attention made every dinner memorable and truly enjoyable. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and hope to return myself!

My stay was truly exceptional, with every aspect exceeding my expectations. From the fantastic food to the clean, turquoise sea, the comfort of the room, and the breathtaking scenery—everything was flawless. But what really stood out was the hospitality. I've never experienced anything quite like it. Joanna was an outstanding host, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Vasilis, the waiter, and two buggy drivers, Stelios and Vangelis, were also exceptional - very attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. The entire staff made me feel at home, and their warmth and professionalism made my experience unforgettable.|The resort itself is vast and offers an array of amenities that make it the ideal destination for relaxation and recreation. There are four excellent restaurants, a good spa, multiple pools, two gyms, and much more to explore. The nature surrounding the property is simply stunning and really vast, and great for a longer stroll after a dinner. |If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend adding this resort to your travel list. It's a place that offers not only luxury and beautiful beach, but also a supreme hospitality and warmth that come from heart🤍

We had an amazing stay at Eagles, Halkidiki! The resort is beautiful, the beach is nice and family friendly and our villa was perfect for our family of 5. We escpecially enjoyed the restaurants at the beach, the open air cinema and the staff. What ever we needed, we were always met with helpfulness and kindness. Also the shuttle service for going around the resort (in golf cars) works perfectly. On the downside, we didn't like the buffet restaurant, so we only had our dinner there once. But overall we loved the place and would love to come back!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL We made a reservation at this hotel one week in advance, but when we arrived, the room we were given was completely different from what we had booked. The room smelled terrible, the furniture was very old, and when we reported this to the staff, they admitted the condition of the room was poor. At first, they told us there were no other rooms available. Only after we insisted on checking out did they suddenly say an upgrade was possible—but the upgraded room was just as bad. We arrived late and exhausted, yet instead of helping us, the staff became rude when we said we wanted to leave. They told us that any refund must go through the booking agency. However, when we contacted the agency, they informed us that the hotel refused the refund and insisted there was nothing they could do. Despite multiple attempts with both the hotel and the agency, the hotel kept our money, even though we did not stay there. This is unacceptable behavior for a so-called 5-star hotel. This might sound long, but it’s important because what happened to us could happen to anyone. If you don’t want to waste your money and be treated unfairly, stay away from this place. Until the hotel returns the money they wrongfully kept, I will continue to share our documented experience on every platform possible to warn others about this dishonest practice.
