I booked two rooms for 2 nights, one of the rooms the fridge is not cold but the room is overall okay. The water temperature for hot water is a bit too hot so be careful when using the hot water. Overall its worth the stay just that a small face lift to the rooms would be nice since they are a bit outdated and worn-out but still nice. 🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊

Pros : Location was great. Staff and security guards were polite. Cons : ( mainly of the room conditions) I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues. *Check-in and Room Allocation* The check-in process was smooth, but I was disappointed to find that my family was allocated to a different tower than my friends' family, despite my request. *Breakfast and Amenities* Breakfast was not a buffet, and each person was only entitled to one main dish with coffee or tea. Extra towels were chargeable, and no pool towels were provided. *Maintenance Issues* Our room's air conditioning was not working due to a short circuit. We managed to resolve the issue temporarily, but it recurred at night. My spouse had to intervene, as we were familiar with the switch box location. The aircon controller was faulty, making temperature adjustments difficult. Other issues included: - Faulty shower head - Faulty water pressure - Stained walls - Holes on sofa and ottoman (poor maintenance) - Drainage smell in the toilet *Laundry Facilities* The dryer and washing machine were not properly installed, requiring multiple technician calls to resolve. *Room Change Requests Denied* I requested a room change twice, but was declined both times. Overall, my stay was disappointing, and I will not be returning to this hotel. Rating: 2/5 stars for room conditions. It's concerning that the hotel's maintenance and quality control seem to be lacking. One would expect regular audits to ensure rooms meet acceptable standards .

My husband and I had an extremely disappointing experience at this 5-star residence during our honeymoon. 1. Early check-in refused: Despite arriving just 1.5 hours early, our request for an early check-in was declined. 2. Improper luggage handling: Our bags were left outside in the heat, despite there being space indoors. We had chocolate gifts in the bags that could easily spoil, yet they chose not to accommodate this. 3. Unhygienic bathroom conditions: The bathtub was filthy, with black residues from previous guests still stuck on it. 4. Shocking lack of cleanliness: One of the bathrooms was unflushed upon our arrival—this was both shocking and absolutely unacceptable. 5. Uncomfortable bed: The mattress was awful, and I was in pain every night from how uncomfortable the bed was. This is not what you expect from a 5-star residence. 6. Poor complaint handling: The following morning, we raised our concerns and asked that the manager address them while we were away for a scheduled activity. Upon returning in the evening, the staff on duty were completely unaware of our complaints, and nothing had been escalated to the manager. 7. Unprofessional management: When we finally insisted on speaking with the manager, she arrived with no greeting or apology. Her first words were simply, “Let’s go to your room.” After we explained our frustrations and emphasized that we were seeking a pleasant experience with basic hygiene during our honeymoon, her solution was to offer an “upgrade” to an identical room with an extra twin room, which we had no use for. Naturally, we declined the offer. For a property marketed as a 5-star residence, this level of cleanliness, comfort, and service was far below expectations. Our honeymoon was marred by a lack of professionalism, basic hospitality standards, and an uncomfortable stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.

The location is great, despite being right in the city it is very Serene and quiet. The amenities however is not at par with the price paid. There is no smart TV, the balcony light is out and there isn't even a table and chair out in the balcony. Think the room was not occupied for a long time hence a weird smell when I first got into the room. Other than that, everything was OK. Breakfast at the cafes were ok.

Don’t expect anything but a 3 star apartment. E&O residence does not uphold their own proclamation of “ Here, you can expect to enjoy the same immaculate attention to detail and personal care afforded by E&O's legendary hospitality. Designed to meet the discerning needs of today's business executives and expatriates, you will find yourself enjoying all the comforts and amenities of home”. Well, I don’t have a blood and sweat stains and I don’t want to know what other stains on my mattress cover at home. They want to be a 5 star hotel, but it’s simply not when not even your bed is clean, which is a basic in Hospitality and if even the housekeeping manager admits that he would not sleep in a bed like that, you know E&O is just a facade to charge you more. Spacious rooms, but the pictures were taken years ago and one can see that time has taken its toll. Marks on walls, mirrors, the fridge and many calcium deposits in the bathroom show that upkeep is a 3 star effort. There is no welcome pack that covers the basic workings of your room, like, that the ironing board is hidden in a secret cupboard in the kitchen or that the hairdryer is in a particular cupboard in the bedroom and will not work in the bathroom plug, which was also admitted by the manager as a fault. It is a comfort and amenity of my home and of most homes I believe, so not quite like home at E&O. There is also a step down into the bathroom, which is incredibly dangerous at night. The light switches are located on the outside and if you don’t want to wake your partner, you will false step and roll your ankle into the bathroom or smash your toe coming back out. Even during the day it’s a trip hazard as it blends into the black marble flooring from the bathroom. No stumped toes at my home… You can lay by the pool if you get there before there before dawn, as they only have like 15 sun chairs for hundreds of guests which they can facilitate. The inclusion of breakfast will send you to either of 2 nearby restaurants. Neither has a proper western option, even though they want to, which means you can have Malaysian dishes or badly cooked chicken sausage and undercooked hash brown at one of them or a full breakfast with cold beans and no bread, which you can request at an extra cost. Both will serve instant black coffee or tea, but milk will cost you extra again. There are plenty of places in KL to stay at, just around the corner if location is important to you, but I would not recommend staying at E&O residence.

Overall positivie experience. The service was very good and the location is walking distance away from the tourist attraction. However, the oven is not working. Every time we turn on the oven, it short circuit the whole place. The floor and walls are not maintian well, there are bumpy places on the floor. Honest opinion, 3 star.

The rooms are spacious however they do need an urgent upgrade, no smart tv or coffee machine, good view depending on your floor and which side your balcony is facing but this in the end did not matter much as the location was walking distance, service and security was excellent

The apartment has a foul, rubbish stench that was unbearable. Housekeeping staff came up and admitted it as well. Changed an apartment for us at late night but still, there was also stench in the second apartment. Had no other rooms within the same tower as our friends so we had to move to another apartment in the tower next door. The room n furnitures are old. Bed linens and pillows are stained. They do not uphold the quality of a 4 or 5 stars serviced apartment. We asked for more mineral water bottles for the room and they told me there is extra cost for that. Check out process also took long. Even though they already withheld deposit for the room, they still wanted to check the room for 10 minutes before we could go. Only plus point is its location. The price we paid is not justifiable.
