"The Earl of Sandwich, a food shop on Boston Common, is located in an octagonal stone building that was once a men’s comfort station. Built of cast stone over terra cotta brick in 1916, the 660-square foot structure was nicknamed the “Pink Palace” because of its colored masonry. Unused as a restroom since the 1970s, it crumbled slowly behind an iron fence. The decrepit building looked more like a tomb that had wandered away from the nearby Central Burying Ground than a public restroom. An engineering report commissioned by the City of Boston noted the building’s disrepair: “The current condition of the building is very poor,’’ the report states. “The glass and copper roof has failed, the entry door is severely damaged, and the interior finishes are damaged beyond repair.’’ One of nine historic structures on Boston Common, the building is located near the center, close to athletic fields, tennis courts, and the Parkman Bandstand. The Boston Landmarks Commission reviewed all of the company’s proposed changes to the structure before construction began. The Earl of Sandwich, a national chain located in Orlando, Florida, spent over a million dollars renovating the former Men’s Comfort Station. The structure required both interior and exterior work. The company retained the original appearance, which included clerestory windows and the roof’s copper flashing. A new 24-faceted copper roof replicates the form of the original skylight and both the original roof monitor and ventilator were replicated in copper. Know Before You Go Park in the Boston Common's underground garage and take the elevator to the surface. Or ride the MBTA's Green Line to the Park Street or Arlington Street stations." - M MtnLady, andresbernal1982, Taterchips, icatsstaci, MtnLady, c cait7911, a andresbernal1982, J Julius Spada, alinekaplan, T Taterchips, nicolab

Google
A little place in Boston common. The prices are fair for Boston. It's beautiful sitting in the park. I was there on a Sunday in the spring. Lots of tourist and visitors around. Didn't see any other place around to sit for outside to eat. But there are plenty of other food trucks around and lots of benches. I had the caprese salad, it was good for a place like these. The associates were pleasant and helpful.

Drove up from Providence as this is one of my favorite sandwich shops. Arrived just before 5pm with the hours posted as open until 6pm. The employee already had the closed sign up and just shrugged and pointed to it. Google shows hours confirmed last by the restaurant 8 weeks ago. Would love to see the hours updated so no one is wasting time driving to somewhere closed.

Its really cool to have a restaurant in the middle of Boston Common. The environment is amazing and there is plenty of seating and space to enjoy your food. I have had a few items from this place over the course of my time living in Boston. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about. Its a nice spot to post up to get some food for a picnic. Earl's Club Sandwich - 4/5. Good sandwich paired with a beautiful environment

Google
Nice little sandwich spot in Boston Common. Had the Italian (pictured). Solid sub and nice atmosphere; you can't find many better places for a picnic around Boston. Coke lovers beware, only Pepsi here. Olympic Otter

Google
The location is really nice. It was a lovely sunny day to sit outside and enjoy a reasonably priced delicious sandwich from here with a loved one.

Google
Always wondered about this place. The menu looks decent. We went today and their were two workers. We were all patient with them. The older guy screamed the other one. Food was really slow to come out of the kitchen. He called out an oder saying Susan. My name is Suzy so I grabbed the bag. He yelled at me. Then put another bag put there shortly after saying Susan too. Then he started yelling at me again saying that is yours. I said okay...you don't have go yell at me again..you are so rude. No comment from him. He forgot everyone's drinks. The soup was more than just cold....tasted mildly frozen and the bottled water was warm.

A hidden gem in the middle of Boston! Experienced my first sandwich from Earl's in Disney 10 yrs ago and can honestly say the sandwiches here are the real deal. If you want a hot sandwich that focuses on quality and consistency when visiting Boston, a detour to the Earl of Sandwich in the commons is worth the trip. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I love stopping at Earl of Sandwich when out and about in the city! The location can't be beat- the view is priceless! It's such a quick, easy spot to get food and enjoy the weather on nice days. I always order and enjoy the buffalo chicken wrap.

Jon L.

Yelp
Opened a little late but the employees were fun and having a good time. Park atmosphere was very charming and especially nice on a 70 degree day. Sandwich was very good with the cookie could have been a little more fresh.

Yelp
Best Italian Sub ever! Really great service too! If you are needing to grab something to eat in the Boston Commons, you must stop here!

Yelp
First time at the Earl of Sandwich and it won't be my last. I ordered "The Original 1762" which includes roast beef, cheddar & horseradish sauce... it was a hot hoagie delicious down to the last bite. This particular location is in the heart of Boston Common and includes outdoor seating with gorgeous views of the Common and Cityscape.

Yelp
Decided to extend the Thanksgiving season and ordered the holiday turkey sandwich online to pick up today, based on a recommendation from a colleague. The two gentleman at Earl of Sandwich gave me a hearty greeting and were so sweet. My sandwich had just come out of the oven and boy, was it was delicious! Warm, soft toasted bread, and the sandwich had a good balance of cornbread stuffing, turkey, and cranberry sauce, all of which were flavorful. Also got an Earl Grey tea/lemonade, which was just right: not too sweet. Very happy and will be going back on a regular basis, as I work across the Common and this is convenient, well priced, and yummy.

Yelp
Kids rate the club sandwich 5/5. Delicious sandwiches and ice cream conveniently located in the middle of the park.

Yelp
Father died at this location on 13 April, 2022. Am in the process of legal action and seeking other attorneys to work on this case. Please contact me asap for more information including the Death Certificate. Thanks.

Yelp
Wife ordered the Chicken Bacon Avocado, Wrap with no avocado. She said it was a salad in a wrap, a lot of lettuce but it wasn't bad. I had the Original 1762 with the horse radish on the side. The horse radish was warm, making me a little nervous to use it. Both sandwiches were "good". We both ordered chips and a drink with it, when the young man called my name and I went up to the window, I asked for my drinks, he stated you didn't say anything when I asked if there was anything else (extremely rude). I told him we both said we wanted chips and a drink as we ordered. He just looked at me and stated you didn't pay for it, I said ok, I will could we get two drinks and two chips. He just disappeared. Another older gentleman appeared and asked what the "problem" was, I explained and he got us our drinks and said sorry, don't worry about it. Cool thing about it is it's right in the middle of Boston Common.

Yelp
Fabulous sandwiches, priceless ambiance of Boston Common and the Boston skyline (outdoor seating, only), and fabulous catering. Earl of Sandwich-Boston Common manager, Kevin, will prepare your food with love, and treat you with kindness and efficiency. Earl of Sandwich-Boston Common is dramatically improved, over what existed when they opened, many years ago. It's worth a visit! As for the review by Dima D., below, it is unfortunate that a credible, respectable business is victim to a grieving man's aspersions that his father died as a result of Earl of Sandwich. Dima D. is quick to offer up a Death Certificate, but, what about a police report that says that Earl of Sandwich was responsible for criminal acts, as Dima D. would like you to believe. I dedsignate Dima D's comments and aspersions as rubbish, and hope Dima D. can obtain treatment for his grieving, and whatever conditions he may be afflicted by.

Yelp
Nashville Hot Sandwich best spicy chicken I've ever eaten. I've never even left a review before but this taste convinced me. Atmosphere and service are also up to par but even if he spit in my face I wouldn't care because this sandwich is so delicious. Mmm

Greta B.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch and had an awesome sandwich combo and Thai chicken salad combo. It was generous portions and incredibly delicious!!! Perfect outdoor seating. The customer service was great, even with the one employee working his butt off!

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. On a so far great trip with my family of four. As we were walking through public garden wanted to grab a snack and saw "Earl of sandwich" it's a small grab and go that offers Hot chocolate, sandwiches, wraps, desserts, chips and drinks. As we arrived he was attending a couple who had ordered hot chocolate and a sandwich named the Hawaiian. We saw other people sitting at the outdoor area that's offered with drinks and food. Upon looking at us the person at the cashier and only person serving asked what we needed. As I was going to begin to order a sandwich and hot chocolates for my kids he stated that he no longer was making sandwiches of any kind and the only things he could sell ME Were chips and soda if I wanted. Clearly he had just finished taking others orders and making their sandwiches and hot chocolates. When asked why he wasn't making them all of a sudden his response was " I'm just not making them anymore." And continued to put a closed sign infront of our face when his shop clearly closes at 5:00pm. This accrued at 3:15pm. As we left I watched another gentle man approach the man behind the register and he removed the closed sign. This individual is a perfect example of someone who shouldn't be serving the public. Definitely disappointed.

Kim J.

Yelp
I ordered the original 1762 sandwich. This sandwich was not edible. I literally took 2 bites of the sandwich, in which, I spit both bites out. The roast beef was nothing but fatty, tough pieces of meat that you couldn't even chew. I ended up throwing the entire sandwich away. So disappointing.

Mike C.

Yelp
Been a few times for work and every staff member is extremely rude and I don't know if that is really a good description but they are the worst and very unsanitary. On multiple occasions I've experienced this to I asked not to be ever sent her again, because every time I said let me give another try it was the poor result

Steven Z.

Yelp
If you're looking for a convenient food spot in the middle of Boston commons other than pretzels, arepas, and peanuts, definitely check this place out. They have a decent variety of sandwiches and wraps. I got the chipotle chicken one and it was pretty good!

Kelli A.

Yelp
We had never been to an Earl of Sandwich before so we figured we'd try it. Sadly, we were told they were out of any of the items we were interested in. No tuna for sandwiches, no tater tots, no Mac-n-cheese. I am giving 2 stars because the man behind the register was very kind when telling us everything he could not serve us. We left and found someplace that had some food we could eat.

Blaine J.

Yelp
Waited 10 mins at the window for somebody to take my order, but nobody would come to the window so I left.

Michael W.

Yelp
Great food! Great experience! Will DEFINITELY be back! Decided to stop by for some sandwiches Friday afternoon on our way home. It was very snowy out and close to closing too, but glad to see they were still serving.  There was a gentleman in a white shirt who was very pleasant and even made us laugh (so nice to see).  We had some "crazy" requests with a lot of add-ons and substitutions, but he was very happy to accommodate us.  The sandwiches, as expected, were delicious, too. Would highly recommend!

Jessica S.

Yelp
Right smack dab in the middle of the Boston Common! I won't admit that I've never had Earl's (damn, I just did!), but since it was SO accessible and with no line, I just couldn't say no when the boyfriend peer pressured me. I also wasn't even hungry, but we went with a simple selection of the *Tuna Melt* (~$6). We sat in the very large outdoor sitting area with iron top tables and chairs. I don't remember seeing any cover/ umbrellas anywhere, so going to this Earl's wouldn't be ideal in certain weather conditions. I gobbled up half the sandwich and thought it was pretty damn solid -- crunchy, toasted breaded exterior with a warm, moist middle. Tuna to mayo ratio was well balanced; not too much mayo which could be off putting to me sometimes. A strange location, but perfect as a grab-and-go option. They also have an online ordering system for those with a busier schedule.

Yelp
If you're thinking about a picnic but are visiting the town, this is a great stop for lunch in the middle of Boston Commons.

Emma H.

Yelp
Holy cow this place was amazing!! Right in the Boston Commons and so fun to people watch from the little tables outside. The food and ice cream were scrum-diddly-umptious, especially the bread (omigod the bread was so good ). But our favorite part was the guy who helped us, T, who treated us like family. Definitely recommend!

Laura D.

Yelp
Earl's Club on Wheat Bread I requested light on the sandwich sauce and it's a good thing I did, because there was still more than a fair amount of sauce! They're definitely heavy handed here for those of you sauce-lovers. I think they may have forgotten the cheese on mine (or it was melted into the turkey), but it was still a very tasty sandwich. They really pack a TON of turkey into the Club--super filling. The sauce added a nice tang. I'd order again, but I think the Caprese is still my personal fav.

Kaylie K.

Yelp
The French dip sandwich was epic! Mad cooking skills T.!!! We stopped to eat here before the Shakespeare in the park...best decision ever! Hubby had the Thai chicken salad and it was amazing too! Won't forget you guys next time we're in Boston! Thanks for a great meal!

David J.

Yelp
The sauce in the original 1762 is to die for. I'm on vacation from canada and recommend this place to anyone

Yelp
Earl of Sandwich reminds me of the fun times at Las Vegas and now it is opened in the middle of Boston Common! How wonderful is that? This was formerly a public restroom and after major renovation, it turned into the best sandwich restaurant in the world! The restaurant is only 660sq ft so there are only outdoor seatings. It can get super freezing when you eat outside during the cold winters in Boston! But it is all worth it! I ordered the Full Montagu Sandwich and it was super delicious. It has turkey, roast beef, swiss cheese, cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, and Earl's mustard sauce. All the ingredients merry together to make this wonderful goodness. I really like how the bread is slightly toasted, fluffy, and buttery. It soaks up all the juices from meats. I don't usually insist on ordering sandwiches when I go out for lunch but Earl of Sandwich is an exception!

Don L.

Yelp
They have a quirky little location in the middle of the Boston Common, It is an octagonal granite building, with a set of outdoor tables. There is a mix of sun and shade and it is a nice place to site and relax with a bite to eat. Of course if the weather is not good, there really isn't any shelter there. The menu is not particularly large, but there is a variety of sandwiches. The Original Roast Beef sandwich is nice with a little horseradish kick to it. The Italian is also good. I found that the service is pretty quick - and they do make everything to order.

Anna C.

Yelp
Yes! I don't have to fly Southwest to get Earl of Sandwich anymore (other Boston location is in Terminal E of Logan Airport)! But wait... you're only open 11a - 4p? I hope that's only because you're new and planning to expand hours soon. Anyhow, the bread is what makes this sandwich great -- thick, toasty bread that's cripsy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. The fillings are good -- I wouldn't mind a better selection of veggies, but I'll condone this less-than-healthy flaw since most sandwich places don't fare much better. The location is perfect -- in the midst of some Boston Common action -- and will likely be a lot nicer during the warmer months. You'll be outdoors the whole time -- order at the window, pick up at another window, optional seating outside.

Vivian C.

Yelp
Located between the ball field and the bandstand lies the Earl of Sandwich with its outdoor dining space of metal tables and chairs. Though missing from their printed menu, I opted for the All American $6.49 (Turkey, cheddar, cranberries, lettuce, tomato & ranch dressing) which I had noticed on their online menu. In five minutes, I had my gold foiled wrapped lunch in hand. My sandwich was warm, and the soft bun with its crisp tasted crust really made the sandwich. But dressing and cranberry sauce made for a rather drippy (though tasty) lunch, so be sure to eat over the foil, or the sauce is sure to sneak past the holes of the metal table and onto your slacks. I can't believe I ate the whole thing... and it was just right. *** 7/2014 *** If at first you don't succeed, try, try again... Well, I guess I should have tried again a second time. Initially I ended up with a Cobb salad - I had ordered their limited time special Cabo Chicken salad (okay, the whole name is Cabo Chicken Citrus Salad). When I brought that to their attention, I got a salad with greens, grilled chicken, tortilla strips, jicama, and orange segments. ALMOST right... but the missing avocado was sorely missed, because that was the ingredient in the photo that had lured me in to ordering this. Sad. But too far to go back to try again a 2nd time. The tuna fish melt was simple (plain looking in fact), but tasty enough. But best eaten on site before the bread loses its crispness. Bought this during their BOGO one day promotion. Note: Cobb Salad - Field greens, grilled chicken, bacon, Swiss, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cranberries & ranch dressing; yup no avocado here either, and the bacon wasn't crisp.

Deanna T.

Yelp
Found this while riding on a bike in the Boston Common Park! I didn't know this was a chain but it's definitely my favorite Sandwich place at planet Hollywood in Las Vegas! And just as good here in the park in Boston! Service was excellent! And I met the general managers pretty wife and adorable son while snap chatting my excitement about finding Earl of Sandwich! Had the full montagu and tomato soup, sandwhich was delish!

Michael C.

Yelp
To save you the trouble of wandering around; this location is located in the Common between the baseball field and the Boston Common movie theater. Like other reviewers have said, the Earl of Sandwich brings back memories of Vegas. I'll have to settle for Boston Common though. I got the Caribbean Jerk Chicken sandwich, it had a nice kick to it. At the end of the day it is just another hot pressed sandwich, but I thought the bread was really good. They also gave me a sample of their Wisconsin Cheddar Soup, also really good. The staff was also very friendly.

Lei T.

Yelp
Beautiful day to be on Boston Commons, and the kids were hungry so we took a chance. Pretty good selection of items, fast and easy, and reasonable prices. We had chicken Caesar salad and a kid's grilled cheese. A few tables to sit at on a patio. Definitely worth walking into the park on a nice day.

Foodie L.

Yelp
Is it possible to give zero stars. My family and a couple other customers were in line and a worker shouts out the window yelling "we're closed we have a huge order that's paid for! We're closed!" With lots more rude words I had to leave the line and go. It is 2:24 pm how are you closed!? He was very rude and could have said he was busy in a better customer service manner. I hope they lose lots of business for this horrible rude behavior.

Martha N.

Yelp
Good sandwiches, Great service I went here with my husband they have tables to seat it's right in the Boston common so is very convenient if you are around the area. Pretty cheap but good I will definitely go back there. I had the Italian sandwich all the cold cuts where good i just think it needs a little bit more mozzarella cheese, my husband had Hawaiian Bbq he said its was really good too.

Verna N.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken bacon avocado wrap. There wasn't much bacon or avocado. However it was still satisfying for a quick bite.

Lily M.

Yelp
I ordered online from their website ( I even received a confirmation email, stating the time to pick up my order) and they were closed, when I arrived to the location. I emailed both corporate as well as the actual location. I never received an email or phone call related to my refund. It has been over a month and a half and I never received a refund. My bank has since reimbursed me. Their response to the reviews are a joke!

Khuyen D.

Yelp
To begin - I want to say that I am 110% an earl of sandwich fan! Every time we are in Vegas we probably have it about 3-4 times. There really isn't a sandwich that compares ! So, you can imagine my excitement when I found one in Boston! I got my usual - the thanksgiving sandwich & my friend got the roast beef one. We have to say we were highly disappointed! :/ the loaves were far from crispy and soft like how they usual are. The thanksgiving one was just missing it's special taste. The ingredients did not seem fresh & the establishment did not appear to be clean from the outside looking in. Sad day :( never thought I could be disappointed by any Earls establishment !

CC C.

Yelp
I have an intense love for Earl of Sandwich. It borders on obsessive honestly. It's nearly in the middle of the common and an oasis of sandwich heavy in all that green space. I like the seating for this Earl of Sandwich mostly because I like the common and I love this sandwich place. Service is pretty good if they aren't super busy and the food always tastes good.

Juan F.

Yelp
Finally I won't need to try to fly Southwest to get my Earl's cravings fixed. The new location at the Boston Common recently opened. It is definitely much smaller than the Vegas and Anaheim ones. There was absolutely no wait when I went. As usual, I ordered the Tuna Melt. Took a little long to make it, but a good sandwich takes time. It was freaking delicious. Gooey cheese, perfectly toasted bread, and plenty of tuna. Hit the spot. Must come back soon.

Jeff M.

Yelp
Ssssoooollllliiiiidddd and relatively cheap lunch option smack dab in the middle of the Boston Common. I stumbled upon this attempting to walk over towards Downtown Crossing and I never even needed to complete my trek for lunch to the other side that day because EoS was exactly what I was craving. Apparently, they are located in an old bathroom on the Common (thanks for the tidbit, other Yelpers!). The menu is an amalgam of soups and sammiches that are both regional for New England or the American Southwest. After waiting in line for a few short minutes while I perused the menu, I went the half a chicken chipotle avacado and small tortilla soup, all for less than $8. The bread stood up well to all of the ingredients and had the perfect amount of crunch to delicate, soft inside. All of the innards seemed fresh and delicious. The tortilla soup could have been a bit spicier and filled with more actual tortillas but the flavor was on par with what you would expect here. They were so close to perfection, yet I got pretty angry when my half a sandwich and soup took over 20 minutes to be served, even though there were only about five customers in front of me when I arrived. Even so, I enoyed everything else from the clean outdoor dining area to the customer service I encountered. Looking to return more often now that I know it's here!

Janet H.

Yelp
You know you strike gold when your sandwich is wrapped in gold (foil). Earl of Sandwich... ah, brings back great memories of my Las Vegas trips. As a west coast gal, with Las Vegas a quick flight away, my first destination upon arrival is always Earl's. I'm so glad now all I need to do is take a nice stroll to Boston Public Gardens and enjoy the gorgeous park with my sandwich. I feel like you can't go wrong with any sandwich here. Probably my favorite is the chipotle chicken because there are avocados in it and the sandwich tastes so damn delicious in general. After scarfing down my sandwich, I decided to order a second one. I feel the sandwich could be a bit warmer... it was a bit on the colder side when I received mine. WIth $7 a sandwich, it's such a steal. I think a great date would be strolling through the park and then grabbing a sandwich.

Timothy T.

Yelp
I'm not a sandwich guy (with the exception of man-wiches), and this joint ain't converting me. This venue has been on my radar since before it opened, as I frequently run around the common. The allure was bolstered by plenty of strong reviews early on. A cool, breezy August day seemed perfect to try it out. I had myself The Full Montagu. I chose this because it seemed to have the most meat. A combo of swiss and cheddar was sure to add a kick. The sandwich was prepared quickly enough. It was warm, which is always a plus for me. A few bites in, I remembered that I should be taking mental notes for my Yelp review. Unfortunately, the sandwich only lasted a few bites total due to its diminutiveness. Also unfortunate was that each bite was unmemorable. I sampled a sugar cookie, which was warm and delicious. The brownies looked mighty fine. The best thing about this place, and perhaps the only real reason to come, is that it is situated on the Common. The worst thing is the price tag. ~$9 for a small, mediocre sandwich and a drink? I'd rather go to Subway. (^_^) Service (^_^) Atmosphere (^_^) Cookies (-_-) Sandwiches (T_T) Bang for buck Glad I came to try it out. I won't be back for any sandwiches, but I might snag a brownie.

Jessica T.

Yelp
*Ordered off Caviar app* The first time we ordered the sandwiches they were really good but they forgot part of our order. We decided to give them one more try considering it might have been the delivery persons fault and boy the food is absolutely DISGUSTING! We got a veggie sandwich and a grilled cheese, the grilled cheese is gross and my veggie sandwich had no seasoning on it which is disappointing and tastes terrible not to mention they burned the heck out of it! Oh and on top of it the Mac and cheese don't bother getting! You can buy Kraft Mac and cheese and make it yourself since that is literally what they are serving! Super disappointed!

Paige A.

Yelp
It's not as good as, say, Back Bay Sandwich, but isn't as bad as subway. Generic, middle of the road sandwiches that I don't mind eating every once in a while. This is the only food vendor in the commons not on wheels. Considering their location, they could probably get away with wildly ripping everyone off, but the prices are just fine.

Jaimee A.

Yelp
The Earl of Sandwich, for the most part, didn't disappoint. The roast beef was delicious. My daughters loved the mac n cheese. The Italian sandwich pleased my Italian hubby. The only disappointment was the grilled cheese. It was just nasty (how do you screw up grilled cheese??) The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside in the Boston Common.

Julie F.

Yelp
Their sandwiches are delicious. I get the Chipotle chicken, and it has so much flavor. And avocado! Plus, their location is pretty great. You can sit at the tables with umbrellas or sit elsewhere on the Common. My only issue is that they can take a long time to make sandwiches. It is as if they are trying to resurrect the Earl of Sandwich to make the sandwiches himself.

Sabine B.

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying this place. All my friends rave about it and it looked interesting. I really wanted to like their stuff. The location is really good, right in the center of the Common which ideally makes it a great place to grab a bite or have a snack. I ordered a chicken sandwich that arrived cold. I don't like my chicken cold. Terrible! The sauce was fine but the sandwich in all was mediocre. Such a disappointment.

Baking M.

Yelp
I was already a fan of Earl of Sandwich after a recent Vegas trip, so I was excited to have the toasty warm sandwiches again. I think their sandwiches are leaps above Subway, Panera and ABP and for the quality, a good deal. Love the gold foil they use to wrap the toasty goodness. Items we must return back for. Tuna melt, tomato soup and brownies. Tasty tomato soup. Not overly creamy, cozy and awesome croutons. More please. Super melty albacore tuna and swiss melt. The white toasty bread, tuna and cheese were the perfect ratio and hands down one of the most delicious tuna sandwiches I have had in a long time. High quality, warm and satisfying. Can't wait until the next time. Seriously, so tasty. The chipotle chicken avocado and bacon had a nice kick from the sauce and went well with the creamy fresh avocado. Definitely a filling sandwich. Will definitely be picking up another Kona coffee and the fresh, fudgey Ghiradelli chocolate brownies (we has the seasonal peppermint ones and they had a nice center and great edges). Perhaps before or after ice skating? Anytime I need a quick lunch or hit up the movies (better deal than movie food) I am going to stop by. I bet when the weather is nice, it will be awesome to pick up items for a picnic on the Common. Attentive staff and super friendly. The only bummer is they do not have the meatball sandwich (Cannonballs) from the menu in Vegas.

Ngoc L.

Yelp
Came here at 11:15 am since the hours says 11 until 6 pm , had a closed sign okay maybe they will open in a few minutes , guy comes out saying we wouldn't open for a while okayyyy when will you open?? Replies I don't know I'm doing catering work so not for a long time , I sed well change your hours or say that the location at the Boston commons is only for catering.. replies back that's corporate issue well your company sucks , as for the food I have no idea because he was busy catering when the establishment is for serving food . Don't waste your time making your way here they might be busy catering

I love the location being right in Boston Common! I love the idea of being able to grab a sandwich and sitting somewhere on the grass and then taking a nice chill stroll around Boston Common. While I love that idea, I've never actually have gotten food from Earls. I was looking for a quick bite to eat so I decided to give a try. I've been to an Earl's in Vegas and post-clubbing, the sandwich was AHHHMAZING. But anyways, I got the same exact sandwich (Chiptole Chicken sammich) in Vegas and Boston and Boston's version was absolute meh. Bread was meh. Filling was meh. And worst of all, they gave me not-ripe avocados. Honestly I would prefer you tell me you don't have any avocados than serve me a not ripe avocado.
