Earth Camp

We absolutely adored our stay at Earthcamp we found a spot under trees. It's so chilled out and relaxing. There's a real family vibe and the owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful. My 7yr old Sons Highlight was the Rope swing and being able to have a fire. We would definitely recommend joining in the Yoga session and had a massage to completely feel at peace. It absolutely chucked it down with rain on our 2nd night but the Pizza truck visited and we stuffed our faces in the tent. Would definitely go back again for more fun and there's more therapies to try. 🥰

Beautiful location with trees around the field, Rachel and Will are v friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough to help you. We stayed in a bell tent and Rachel lent us blankets as it was cold at night. The food wagon was v good and was v popular. The showers were warm and great after a hiking the S Downs Way. When we stayed at the end of June the campsite was full (150 people) and there were some noisy kids until 1 am and adults till 2 am nearby. There was no electricity in the bell tent for charging your phones and 1 bar phone signal in 1 place. What I couldn’t cope with were the toilets which had a bad design and got blocked immediately under the seats and were rank. Otherwise it was a lovely campsite run by v good people.

Liked: Spacious, clean, beautiful surroundings and secluded. The owner provides outdoor games, including football goals, which was wonderful, free to use firepits and wood for sale. A small woodland to explore with a rope swing and hammock in the trees 🌳 😀 We really enjoyed our stay. Disliked: The gaps in the toilet doors mean that everyone walking past can see you sitting on the toilet. I had to take a blanket in with me so I could sit down for a number 2 in the morning. Not the best, so my suggestion would be to fill in those gaps for our privacy.

Beautiful, peaceful and perfect for families! My daughter loved the swings and exploring the faerie Woods. The facilities were clean and practical and there was lots of space so the campsite didn’t feel too crowded. We especially loved the Coffee and the lovely welcoming owners Will and Rachel. Looking forward to returning next year

Liked: This was a very peaceful campsite and family friendly. I liked the sound of the drumming on the Saturday morning and the Gong Bath experience I booked was very relaxing. Disliked: The composting toilets were not a favourite aspect for my 8 year-old child.

Liked: I needed somewhere to stay dry late in the day (10 pm) and Earth Camp responded, and late arrival was no problem . Very nice, quiet camp with clean rustic loos and bathrooms. Fire pits a nice addition Disliked: Some low distant traffic noise early morning . Most wouldn't care but I notice any road noise !

Liked: There's lot to like about Earth Camp, we had beautiful weather & enjoyed a clear star filled sky, the fire pits were there to use the logs & kindling were reasonably priced, the Host was friendly, other campers seemed to be relaxed so no problems whatsoever. The place has a nice peacful vibe. The site itsef is pretty hilly as you would expect on the South Downs, there are some flat pitches to be found, the toilets & showers are great. theres bark chipping on the ground to avoid it geting muddy & although quiet there's a festival feel to the site with nice touches here & there, the location from where i am in SW London is ideal for an overnight getaway. Disliked: having to get up 3 times in three night to pee but thats nobodies fault but my own..

Liked: Laid back vibe at the campsite. Opportunity to do things like yoga and have a massage. Spacious bell tents. The location. The showers and the eco friendly show gels/shampoo. The pizza van - delicious pizzas. Disliked: Whilst I understand the need for compost toilets on a campsite, they did get a bit smelly on a hot weekend. I think an additional hand washing/tooth brushing area near the entrance toilets would have been good. Shame the food van wasn't there on our visit.
