Earthlight Villas

Simply incredible! My wife and I stayed in Earthlight 5 a couple nights following our wedding and the view was breathtaking! The villa was very well appointed. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. The beds are super comfy and the rain shower is a nice touch. The hot tub sitting on what feels like the edge of a cliff overlooking the Columbia River is a view worth experiencing again. We will be back again without a doubt!

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Obviously we didn’t know who the hosts were until we got there, so the process was based on blind trust but it worked out beautifully, which is rare these days. Thank you for that! The energy, the beauty, the time and effort you both have put into this project is really fabulous. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back. A much needed get away not too far from home. It was fun to read about your stories as well and we wish you all the best. The drive up to the Villa was nuts though! 😂 Thanks so much! Victoria and Brandon. P.S. I got this getaway for Brandon’s birthday and he loved it so much. We both did. We will definitely be back!

Earthlight Villas ~ What a beautiful spot in the mountains!! We have always wanted to visit this stunning place & so happy we finally did! Highly recommend if you are looking for a romantic, quiet, getaway! We stayed in Villa 4 and chose that one specifically based on the way it faced the river (We are familiar with the area and so we wanted a certain view). One thing we noticed about our villa specifically is that we could see villa 5 from our patio and so it did not feel as private as the other two villas (2 & 6) that have complete privacy with no one in your direct line of sight. The kitchen came well equipped with necessary items you might need for cooking. One more baking sheet or pyrex would have been nice since only one is provided. Also, we did find out while there that the sink water is safe to drink but a couple water bottles would have been great to have as a complimentary gift upon our arrival. It is noted that there is hiking nearby but all it seemed to be was forest roads and not really trails like we were assuming it would be. I am someone who likes having activities near me, and the only thing about the location of the villas is that you are a far drive from any good restaurants or wineries. Lake Chelan and Wenatchee are both about a 55 minute drive. We did make that drive one of our nights there so we could enjoy dinner out and wine tasting. Doable, but not ideal! I would recommend planning to stay at your villa and not leave, convenience wise. Bring games/activities and all of the necessary food and drinks for your stay! As you can see in our photos, our trip was during wildfire season and while it was a bummer that our views were not as clear as they could have been, it was still beautiful in it's own way!! All in all, we would book again! Great experience! Would just do it a little differently next time.

Amazing, breathtaking views. Villa is fully stocked with anything you need. My only complaint would be better pillows. And maybe a TV for a cozy movie night with an incredible back drop. That being said, 100000000000% would recommend.

This place is simply amazing! We loved it so much that this was our second time staying here and we’ve already booked our third! Haha. Hans is a great host friendly, easy to communicate with, and always helpful. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Being there feels like freedom a deep connection with nature and the greatness of God. The mountains are our favorite kind of escape, and this place is our perfect refuge. An amazing spot to disconnect and recharge!

I had a wonderful stay at the Earthlight villas.The Earthlight villa #2 was exactly as described- clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The location had panoramic views overlooking the Columbia river. Absolutely breathtaking!! Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was easy and prompt. Han’s was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. I especially appreciated the cozy bed, stylish decor, amazing views from all angles in the villa. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Wenatchee, Washington and I’d absolutely stay here again! Hans was attentive and quick in responding to any questions I had.

The view was spectacular. However, for the amount of money and the cleaning fee we paid, I expected a clean and fully functional environment. •The fire pit didn’t work, I believe the propane tank was empty. • The blinds weren’t all working, 2 of them wouldn’t go down and one wouldn’t go up. The remote for this was low on battery, but I don’t think that was the reason. •Cleanliness: the hot tub had a line of grimy build up, the knives and oven mitts in the kitchen were dirty, there were spot stains in the bathroom walls (and there aren’t many walls in the place), there was dust and hair accumulated under the bed and furniture. Keep in mind you are paying a cleaning fee and you are being asked to wash all dishes and take out the trash. Looking at some of the other reviews/pictures maybe a different villa would have been a better choice, I’m not sure. We were in Villa #6, and getting there was a bit confusing. Follow the road from the map they send in the email, and stick with it until you see the next villa sign.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Earthlight! The place was so clean and beautifully decorated. It was the perfect spot for a couple (and two spoiled dogs) :) I will dream about those views forever, you could watch the clouds roll in and the river was glass calm - the whole place was so quiet and serene. We loved the little hot tub in the mornings and the bed was super comfortable. We will definitely be back!
