"East Coast Park is a wonderful stretch of seafront greenery containing plenty of trails where runners, walkers, cyclists, and in-line skaters can frolic in nature. There are shops where you can rent bikes and Rollerblades (just follow signs in the park), so come on down and join in the fun. If you’re feeling especially brave, try your hand at motorized wakeboarding—or just watch as a machine whips brave souls around the East Coast Lagoon (near the East Coast Seafood Centre) on a wire."

Best beach you can find in Singapore, plenty of parking lots, restaurant and cafe, pet friendly too. The park was beautiful and there were many tables and bench for resting. You can rent bicycles here to cycle along the coaster. The road was built wide enough for an enjoyable ride, you will feel safe as they are separated from the walking pavement. Along the way you can find restaurant, cafe, children playground and toilets for your needs. There are areas for camping and bbq, and it is definitely a good place for family gatherings.

The beach park itself was beautiful. But what I loved even more was riding a bike along the wide, well-maintained paths. It felt calm and free. Singapore is such a bike-friendly city. Bike lanes are clearly marked, traffic is light, and drivers are incredibly respectful. You really feel safe on the road, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The sunlight, the shadows, and the green from the trees blended together so perfectly. fresh, peaceful, and just quietly beautiful.

Amazing as always. Recommend coming here for cycling with friends or families. As a dog lover, love that people bring their cutest dogs and pets here for walks. You will also see some awesome people doing wakeboarding and you can try it in a safe mini-version at a small lake too (paid, booking likely needed). All in all great wind, sunset, people, dogs and vibes. Also great seafood if you’re into that.

Google
Very laid back vibes. Just sit, relax and enjoy the time. You can also rent cycles and take a ride across the long stretch. Swimming is not recommended as the water may not be ideal and sometimes a bit murky because of the busy global ship route in the Singaporean strait connecting the Indian Ocean with the South China sea.

We had an amazing day at the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm with our two kids! From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The kids loved feeding and cuddling the baby animals—especially the lambs, bunnies, and guinea pigs. There were also goats, ponies, alpacas, and chickens roaming around, which made the experience even more interactive. The tractor/train ride was a big hit, and the playground kept them entertained for ages. There’s plenty of shaded seating and picnic areas, so it was easy to relax while the kids explored. It’s such a wholesome, hands-on place for young children to learn and have fun. Highly recommended for families visiting Swan Valley!

I frequently visit East Coast park as it is on one of my exercise walking routes. The hawker center has something for every taste, the walk paths and surrounding areas are well maintained and groomed. There is an automated water ski lake with three levels of difficulty for every skilled level. Very beautiful and serene place to spend time.

Nice beach for a walk or a run. Visited there on a weekday morning and it was so peaceful. Got to see many amazing sights and nice scenery. Recommend for people who have dogs as I have seen many people bring their dog there.

Google
East coast park is such a suitable and good place to take a breather or if you’re in need of fresh air to calm yourself down. The amount of greenery surrounding the park makes this walk or whatever activity you’re doing more therapeutic and peaceful.Additionally, although you see ships from the parks’ beach coast from afar, it’s good that it doesn’t really affect what you hear as in maybe the ships horn sound😁. Would recommend!!

Yelp
Dem Palm Trees! East Coast Park has been my sanctuary for the last 6 months; especially during Covid-19 and the endless lockdowns and restrictions, it has been the one freedom I've been able to enjoy - maskless, boundless, limitless. You'll see a bike in all the pictures, that is the vehicle of my unbound nature giving me inner peace and joy, as I eat up the kilometres and soak in the scenery. This parkway stretches from Marina Barrage all the way to Changi (that's where it turns into the "Changi Treadmill" or "Changi Grinder" as we call it - which leads to Changi Beach & Chang Airport). If you do the full stretch, it's about 20km each way. Which makes for a solid workout. I usually do a loop which cuts out chunks of the ride and gets me back to my place in 1 hour flat (for about 20km). But other days like today, I join about halfway up and go one direction till the end, and then all the way to the other then home, for about a 35km round trip. There's tonnes of activities to do along the way, you'll see Filipino groups having BBQ's, Sing Songs, and just a jolly good time. During Xmas this is amazing to immerse in as they'll bang out Feliz Navidad as a gregarious group and it is joyous to behold. You can rent bike's, camp in tents, go sailing, picnic and BBQ, exercise (you'll see runners, walkers, rollerbladers, cyclists, quad bicycles, tandem bicycles). You name it, everyone's doing it. There's a cable water-skiing park towards the northern end of the park, right near the Hawker Centre (East Coast Lagoon Food Village). There's Bike rental places dotted at different locations along the way, as well as coffee, McDonalds and other food to refuel your tank. BBQ pits are also in abundance along the way; with spots you can rent in advance for company BBQs or just a catch-up with friends. These are all great things to have an option to do; but for me it is all about the solo ride - capturing your spirit, then setting it free and letting it have its head - until you are epically wasted by the end with a solid 1000 calories torched.

Yelp
Whether you are a resident or a visitor from out of town, come visit East Coast Park. Located on the south-eastern coast of Singapore, this park is a great place to exercise in the cool of the morning, camp and picnic and enjoy a meal. The park offers bike rentals with bike paths and lovely paved walking paths. Our family enjoyed the mature jungle trees, birdwatching (sea eagles, orioles, koels and coots) and pretty butterflies. They have distance markers and fitness activities along the way. On the eastern part of the trail, they have a jetty where you can fish. When one walks along the way, you can see tents set up next to sheltered and unsheltered picnic areas with barbecue pits. Bring you own charcoal! If you want to dine, they have an East Coast Hawker Centre. They also have a Seafood Center with several restaurants offering delicious pepper crab and fish prepared multiple ways. These are mostly opened in the evenings. The cool sea breeze is fantastic as well. Our family enjoys watching the ships along the horizon, a celebration of the #2 Busiest Port in the world (2017).

Yelp
Told my friends I will write a review on a place close to my heart for my 50th review. So, not surprisingly, I chose to write about East Coast Park. I'll try to write within 15 min as my review can get way too long. Many reviewers have done a great job writing detailed reviews of this place, so I'll just touch on the "feely" bits of my memories of this popular recreation spot. Cherished memories: 1. BBQ Weekends - During my late teenage years, I'll be going to a BBQ at one of the many BBQ pits dotting the coastline every weekend. I think I have had my fair share of Chaotar (burnt) Chicken wings and Hot dogs. But that's part of the fun isn't it? Eating Chaotar BBQ meats ^_^ 2. Outings with my friends @ the many F&B outlets here - celebrated so many birthdays & special events here that I've lost count. Still cannot get over the loss of the old Marine Cove though. It's a tragic loss of our collective memories that is just way too sad. 3. Long Leisurely Walks & Amazing Sunsets - due to the nice Seabreeze at night, this is a wonderful place for long therapeutic walks and a great spot to jog, cycle, walk your dogs, have a picnic and roller blade. It is also a fabulous spot to catch the sun when it sets too. Pokemon Hotspot: with the Pokemon Go being launched in SG on 6 July, this place has become a hotspot with the many pokestops, gyms & rare pokemons. I caught my Ninetales, Clefairy, Dratini and Seel here. But still no Pikachu! #sobs Writing this review at the East Coast Park now. Ok. Time's up. 15 min. I'll end by inviting folks who have not visited East Coast Park to come by and take a look. I'm quite sure you'll like it.

Yelp
A huge, sprawling park that's getting better and better! I am one of those idiots who live near by and rarely visit. I really should visit more often. There are tons of fun outdoor activities you can do here, like rollerblading and biking. Renting a bike and going around is on my bucket list! There are plentiful barbecue pits for picnics, or you can keep it simple by just bringing a blanket and sprawling out on the sand or grass. Feel free to swim in the sea; there are showers in the public restrooms so you can rinse off afterwards! Not into the great outdoors? Lucky for you, there are many options for the great indoors. Parkland Green, near Area C, has a variety of restaurants and retail to hang out in. Starbucks? Yes. Cheers convenience store? Yes. Laser tag? Of course! An awesome park with heaps to do. As good as it gets!

Amazing food good taste and also not very expensive. Anytime better than Jumbo seafood.

Yelp
This park is very long, covering a significant stretch of the island. It is a great place for a morning workout or yoga, and it is also a great place to just come and enjoy the beach for a day, though it lacks the beauty of Sentosa. One thing I like about ECP is that it is a great place to see the stars at night if you walk out along the pier. There are also a few good locations in the park to see the sunrise in the morning. My friends and I rented bicycles overnight for just $10 each and rode out past Changi Village and back. It is a great group event for a little bit of fun and camaraderie. There seem to be quite a few restaurants and activities to try if you come during the daytime hours.

Yelp
Best public park for everything and anything. Lots of food choices around the park or around the area too!

Yelp
Ah, the sun, sand and the sea. There's plenty of fun activities to do here. Go fishing, have a BBQ, jog, play ball, camp overnight, stuff yourself silly with yummy seafood, rent a bike or learn to rollerblade! I've even seen track and field teams from schools nearby training by the beach. Awesome. Or if you don't feel like spending, just go for a walk, relax and clear your thoughts. Take in the sea breeze and the scenery. Watch the sun rise and set. By the way, ignore the dirty water. It's always packed during weekends and public holidays, so if you don't like crowds and want a moment of peace, it's better to visit East Coast Park on a weekday.

Yelp
I love East Coast Park (ECP) I really do. It's the perk we get for living on this tropical island, I meant, tropical city. ECP reminds me of the fact that Singapore is still an island, surrounded by sea. Visiting the place allows me to forget about ERP and other nonsense city woes; it's just the sun, the sea and... the great food at Lagoon Food Centre. Try to avoid ECP during the weekends though. It's almost impossible to maneuver the bicycle on the pathways amidst the crowd of families, much less get a seat at Lagoon Food Centre. However, if you do get a seat, please try the satay, chicken wings, and down it with a refreshing cup of sugar cane juice. Trust me, the sugar cane juice doesn't get better than the ones in ECP. The best time to go is during a free weekday, like what I did. I enjoyed a day of cycling, under the thick shade provided by the trees lined along the pathways. Life should be peppered with little enjoyments like these. The thing about ECP is that everything is conveniently located, from the skating/cyling rental kiosks, to fast food restaurants, to toilets and barbeque pits. There are also very comprehensive signboards and maps to guide you.

Yelp
Although I'm not the sportiest person there is, I love taking the long drive down to East Coast Park with my skates in the boot with the boyfriend and spending the day by the sea. Just listening to the waves crash on the shore is a relaxing experience for me, I even love feeling sweaty and sticky from the salty sea breeze! It's best to visit on a weekday, but if you're there on a crowded weekend, it's still enjoyable to be part of the buzzing crowd and people watching, seeing families roll by in their bikes too. There is always sufficient shade even on the sunniest day, so there isn't much to worry about getting a sun burn. You can even rent a BBQ pit easily from the AXN machines scattered throughout the island for just $16. BBQ-ing with friends by the open sea is one of the unique experiences that we local Singaporeans should be proud and grateful to have.

Yelp
Honestly the best time to go to beaches is during weekdays. So peaceful... Weekend trips can be so annoying for me due to the crowd and noise level.

Yelp
As someone who's lived in the west side of Singapore all her life, I don't come to East Coast park often. It's usually a group social activity (church young adults BBQ the past 2 years) that has drawn me here and the park surprises me every time. East Coast park is one of those places in Singapore where kudos should be given to the National Parks Board, cleaners and park users for maintaining such a clean and serene environment. I recall coming here as a kid and it still looks the same i.e. barbeque pits, toilets are fairly well kept. Tracks for cycling and running are clearly marked out up and down the coast, there's a cable skiing facility, the beach club and a nice breeze in the afternoon. You can rent bicycles, rollerblade or get poetic looking at the sea, which *looks* clean but given that there are cargo ships in the distance, I'm guessing is an oil slick underneath. The rows of casuarina trees also lend a somewhat Californian vibe to the place depending on your life experience, though I'll posit that it's a unique Singaporean feature from my childhood memories. The only shortcoming for East Coast park is its inaccessibility. I usually drive there and even with the trunk road, there's only 2 exits so don't miss them. That being said, the inaccessibility could be what keeps the park looking the way it is haha.

Yelp
East Coast Park is the biggest park in Singapore! There are a lot of recreational facilities as well as food centers in this park. I like that the beaches are relatively clean, second cleanest in Singapore in my humble opinion. It is also so big that you never really get sick of it (because if you are sick of one spot, you can move on to the other!). It is a great venue for big group activities, and several corporations do hold their family day there. The tracks are also good, as most users are pretty considerate - bikers stick to the cycling track, joggers stick to their walking/jogging track. Other than just renting bikes, you can also rent rollerblades and have a great time rollerblading at the park. Beginners need not worry too, because there is an area where you can familiarize with the rollerblades before you set out for an adventure! One thing that I do not particularly like is the inconvenience to get to this place. It is a chore to go to East Coast Park via public transport, unless you are talking about Taxi. Other than that, it's a great park for all ages!

Yelp
Good for cycling during dawn or late at night. During day hours, it is just too crowded and dangerous unless doing less than 15kmh.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
A great hawker, with a huge range of options available. It's located right next to the beach so ideal for the kids. The price is just right and the atmosphere as you would expect. Also there is the East Coast activities to the left or right of the hawker.

Yelp
I have done yoga here and rented bicycles to ride down the sidewalk with friends, great place to visit and be by the water and get some exercise! There are many places to eat along the coast and multiple places to rent bikes.

Yelp
When I feel like having a nice picnic or rollerblading session, East Coast Park will always be my top location. People usually come here for picnics, exercise, Family Day events and most commonly, cycling. Exercising here is such a breath of fresh air. The jogging route stretches to about 21km. I usually only do a quarter of that distance before my tummy decides to steer me away towards the satay stalls or The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlet. The waters at East Coast look pretty decent. The sandy areas are great for mini soccer games when they're not packed. Rollerblading and inline skating here is wonderful too because most of the skate shops charge pretty cheap, and you can have two hours all to yourself. There's a skating rink for beginners to do trial runs before venturing out onto the open paths. I remember falling down numerous times when I first started out but it was all good fun! Skating and blading really works your legs and glutes!

Yelp
One of the best public parks in Singapore - love ECP to bits! My favourite part is coming here around 7+ in the morning to catch the sunrise with all the fishing enthusisasts at Bedok Jetty. It's a great place to run and is big enough to train for marathons or long-distance runs. And if you ever get thirsty, there are vending machines and a food center within East Coast Park - not to mention fast food joints - where you can get yourself refreshed.

Yelp
Its better than Changi.. dont ever go there! East coast is not ur maldives but hey we grew up there and love it!!
