EAST GRAPE - Wein Events

We came across this place on our walk to the hotel last week. Best wine bar in Frankfurt in my one week there. The atmosphere was great - a combination of the people and the place itself. Wine selection was superb! I tasted several of them and I like them all. Definitely a place to be back again.

First night in Frankfurt, we stopped by East Grape - Best experience! Warm, friendly, fun, kind service. Great wine list, food was really good. Wonderful atmosphere. We could have stayed there all night. Relaxing, chill, easy going vibe. Highly recommend . Thank you for a great time!

Great place for a wine discovery @ FF. The owner is very friendly and offers a great variety of quality wines! I would really recommend this place!!!

Nice staff, nice atmosphere, but looks like they reduced their wine menu at least i had in mind that their wine menu was much bigger. Otherwise, all good.

Nice cozy wine bar, has good wine options, with a considerable amount of choices. It has tasty snacks (most is what you have to eat there), but in small portions (could have more, by the price). The staff is super friendly. Olives are good, definitely a must-try

This is a wonderful wine bar in the east. The place is adorable and the wine list is enormous. The wines by the glass are German wines and are unusual. Ralph is a wonderful owner and he and the staff make it a great experience and offer help with the menu if you need it because it is only in German. Visit this bar for a wonderful evening. The food options are limited.

Very nice place. The owner is super friendly and let us try the wine before settling on a bottle which is great as I'm very picky. Not a big food selection but what they do have was great! Cheese plate and a meat plate both can recommend. And the sauce with the meat plate was spicy and amazing! Highly recommend! And they accept EC cards!

We were supposed to go to a favorite wine bar in Bornheim but it was super crowded and noisy - almost like a pub, or a club even. We couldn't find seats so we decided to head tback to Ostend and try this new wine bar. It was a huge blessing in disguise! The guys here were very nice - I was with my boyfriend who doesn't speak a word of German - and they happily helped him out with the wine selection. We also ordered a plate of salami and Schinken, and for the cheap price, we thought it would be something like they just pulled out from Rewe across the alley. We were pleasantly surprised! Food arrived with a big basket of bread, 4 sorts of salami and shinken, local Frankfurt creamy cheese (which was new to me and is a real delight), and homemade Leberwurst. My boyfriend really loved the Leberwurst and when he mentioned it to them, they gave him another serving of it plus bread - for free! The nicest people! The place is small but so tastefully designed, with good soft music just right for conversation. The wine, of course, were incredible! I normally don't like German red, but we tried two of them and both were really good. I cannot rave about this place enough! Really love it and would definitely bring friends here!

Found this gem while in Frankfurt for one night while visiting Germany from the United States with my cousin. Wonderful ambiance, enjoyed a delicious flight of red wine personally delivered from Ralf, the owner himself, who was truly a pleasure to meet and converse with. You will leave this place happy and satisfied as I did! Highly recommended!
