EAST Hong Kong

I recently stayed at East HK for three nights and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The moment I walked into the lobby, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and offered a refreshing welcome drink, setting a perfect tone for my stay. My room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I needed—from a comfortable king-size bed to a well-stocked minibar and a high-speed Wi-Fi that worked flawlessly. The highlight was the rooftop restaurant, where I enjoyed delicious local cuisine while admiring the stunning city skyline at sunset. The housekeeping team was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring my room was tidy every day. I also appreciated the hotel’s convenient location, just a short walk away from major attractions and public transportation hubs. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, East HK is hands down one of the best choices in the city. I can’t wait to come back!

We made a quick visit to Hong Kong before we went to the Philippines for our holiday. We chose to stay at the East Hong Kong Hotel based on the advice of internet celebrity Ayen, and everything was well worth it. The hotel is conveniently located, with the shopping center connected to the hotel and just a few steps away from the subway station. The room is well maintained by the cleaning staff. The bed is our comfort zone and we sleep well every night. Overall, in terms of convenience and cleanliness. We were pleasantly surprised at how smooth and relaxed everything was and the staff Sanjay so friendly polite and helpful . I think it's not just the hotel that makes it a five-star, it's also because of the staff. The warm hospitality makes guests feel that they are important and comfortable. Keep it up Sanjay . We will definitely bring my family back.

The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance to the metro station and shopping mall. The room facilities are well-equipped, with stable and fast Wi-Fi, and the room is spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the staff Sanjay is polite and helpful. His services provided, impressed me, especially the convenient and quick airport transportation arrangements and handling luggages. Thank you Sanjay. Overall, it was a pleasant stay experience.I'm highly recommended this hotel to everyone who's visiting Hong Kong........

Starting to be one of my favourite hotels in Hong Kong. It’s conveniently located right next to the TaiKoo MRT and the Cityplaza mall. Check in process is quick and smooth, and I was in my room in no time. The higher floor this time afforded me a fantastic view of the Bay and city skyline, which is a beautiful sight to wake up and fall asleep to. Rooms are large, bed was very comfortable. Showers were well planned and designed, but wish they included a bidet with the toilet. Aircond was a little off though. Outside temperature was 10-15 but mine was set to 24C and yet it was freezing in the room. I would set it to 26 (max) or turn it off completely for hours just to achieve a comfortable temperature Love the filtered water tap in the room which made it very convenient to rehydrate at any time. Breakfast at level 1 was good though not much variety and you’re eating the same things 3 days later Overall, a very well thought-out design and layout and this will be my hotel of choice when I’m in Hong Kong again

I was very disappointed with my stay at EAST Hong Kong, especially given that it is part of Swire Properties and is marketed as a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet that standard. It felt very much like a 3 star hotel. The lobby and common areas were consistently occupied by large numbers of non-hotel residents. Many appeared to be people from the surrounding neighborhood using the space to study or gather for extended periods. The hotel staff acknowledged this situation but refused to take any action, which resulted in a lobby that felt crowded, noisy, and no longer exclusive to paying guests. As a hotel guest, this significantly diminished the sense of comfort, privacy, and quality one would expect at this level. What further surprised me was that at around 2am, my partner and I were explicitly told that we were not allowed to eat food in the lobby area. This rule felt unreasonable and poorly thought out, especially given that the space was nearly empty at such a late hour. Preventing hotel guests from quietly eating while simultaneously allowing the lobby to be used freely by non-residents throughout the day feels inconsistent and frustrating. Overall, the management policies at EAST Hong Kong do not align with 5-star expectations. Between the lack of control over public spaces and the restrictive rules imposed on actual guests, the experience felt more like a public co-working space than a premium hotel. I expected far better from a Swire-managed property.

Loved my stay at EAST Hong Kong! The location is very convenient, right by the MTR or a quick 10-minute car ride to Central. The rooms are modern, comfy, and full of thoughtful touches like USB-C plugs, filtered water stations (a rare gem I made use of daily), soft robes, and harbor views that make mornings and the sunset extra special. The hotel feels built for both work and play: there’s a modern gym, pool, and plenty of space to meet in the lobby. I loved grabbing my morning coffee from their coffee shop featuring No Coffee from Japan, and also spent time at Sugar, their super chic rooftop bar which served excellent cocktails. Stylish, convenient, and full of charm, I’d absolutely stay again!

It’s kinda rare for Hong Kong having a good yet nice service. This hotel perfect for their services. A good welcome from Sanjay, fast and informative at lobby and very han|dy staff when you need any help. Superb service, Truly amazed us for HK standard. Really!! The hotel itself, rooms very clean and tidy, beautiful harbor view pool gym and rooftop bar all fantastic. The pictures perfect and same with the photos from apps. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Facility ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I know where i’ll stay when i back to Hong Kong. Would love to say hello again when i visit HK soon 😘

The hotel location is excellent and convenient. The beds were very comfortable. However the experience was marred by the strange bathroom set up- completely see through glass walls- which made it wholly unsuitable for a friends getaway as there was no privacy. There is a separate shower cubicle and a toilet cubicle but there was no privacy for changing or dressing after a shower. I really wish hotels would stop doing this.
