"On East Island Excursions' San Juan Mini Boats Adventures tour, guests operate their own powerboat, cruising across the San Juan Bay for sightseeing along the coast. The 13-foot rigid inflatable mini boats accommodate four people, and they depart near the cruise terminal in Old San Juan after a short safety briefing. The guided group will pass Condado and the Puerto Rico Convention Center before a brief stop to see points of interest in the area. Next, guests will cruise towards the historic district of Old San Juan and Fort San Cristobal, passing cruise ship ports, mountains, and rainforest. Other landmarks along the way are The San Juan Wall, Governor's Mansion, and Fort San Felipe Del Morro. On the way back, boats will pass the commercial piers and a mangrove area, home to iguanas, birds, and local fauna. The 90-minute tour includes beverages and returns to the San Juan Bay marina." - Travel + Leisure Editors

"Just off mainland Puerto Rico is Cayo Icacos, a tiny, uninhabited island with a private, deserted-beach vibe — especially during the quiet season. A day spent on the island is the No. 4 activity in Puerto Rico, according to Tripadvisor travelers, who say the best way to experience the clear waters and white sandy beaches is by catamaran. The 5.5-hour snorkeling tour with East Island Excursions is complemented by the catamaran's underwater windows — perfect for viewing sea life from the ship — and onboard waterslide." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Had we more time snorkeling I would have rated it 5 Stars. The day was amazing all thanks to the team from the captain who was very helpful and accessible to all the crew members who each went above and beyond to make the experience comfortable and memorable. The lunch spread was delicious with plenty of choices and the drinks flowed with little to no waiting. Everything went smoothly from the moment we arrived. We had coffee at the cafe in the gift shop and the wait to board breezed by and suddenly we were on this lovely catamaran with its grand sail, sailing along the clear blue sky and sea, plenty of shaded areas on the boat. The stairs leading to the water from the catamaran made it easy for those with mobility concerns. The island was more than I expected as we swam in the clear calm waters and soaked in the sun. We then had lunch and back to the water until we departed for some near by snorkeling. Sadly the time snorkeling was for an hour but it seemed shorter. Overall I would recommend this trip and would definitely do it again. Many thanks for making our vacation unforgettable.

I went out as a guest on one of East Island Adventures boats early June. The boat itself was spacious, sturdy, and fully stocked. The crew was so thoughtful and took extra care of our group. Cesar helped carry one of the passengers off the boat into the 5ft deep water and even went back to continue to bring trays of drinks out to the group on the sand. The captain brought us straight up to a great snorkel spot where we got to either jump right off the boat or could take the waterslide down. This was a great experience for the whole family!

Had the best time on this boat trip. The crew was awesome—super chill, funny, and they really made the whole experience perfect. The music was so upbeat, and the drinks were delicious. The boat was beautiful, and the island we went to was straight out of a postcard. Crystal clear water, white sand... could’ve stayed there forever. Captain Jose, David, and Gerardo were an absolute treat too. Highly recommend this crew for anyone looking for a fun, laid-back day out on the water. It’s already on the list of things to book when we visit Puerto Rico again!

Beautiful Trip with Great Energy & A Few Areas for Improvement Overall, the Icacos Snorkeling and Beach Trip with East Island Excursions was a wonderful way to spend the day! The atmosphere on board was lively, the staff were upbeat and professional, and the energy from the crew really set the tone for a fun and relaxing experience. The boat ride itself was smooth and enjoyable, and the destination, Icacos, is absolutely beautiful! The beach was stunning, with crystal-clear water and soft sand that made it a true island escape. Snorkeling was a highlight, we had the chance to see some really amazing fish up close, which added a fun and memorable touch to the adventure! Also, I have to give credit where it’s due, the music playlist on board was phenomenal! It created the perfect vibe and added even more energy to an already fun day. That said, there are a couple of small areas where I think the experience could be even better. Some of the snorkel gear I received was slightly defective, which made it a bit difficult to fully enjoy the snorkeling portion of the trip. I’m not one to complain in the moment, as I like to be fully present and soak in the experience, but I wanted to share this feedback in a constructive way. A quick equipment check beforehand could really elevate the experience for future guests. Also, while I appreciated that lunch was provided, the sandwich meat could have been of better quality. The fruit was great and there should definitely be more. The bread was delicious, soft and fresh, but the overall lunch offering felt a bit underwhelming, especially compared to how well everything else was handled. Lastly, if possible, I think extending the beach and snorkeling time would make the trip feel even more complete. That said, I still had a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour, especially for anyone looking to relax, swim, and soak up the sun in beautiful surroundings. With just a few tweaks, this could easily become a grand slam, knock-out the park, five-star experience.

Google
The mini boat tour was amazing and super fun! June and Fionna were very nice and helpful with understanding the instructions to drive a boat for the first time. They gave us a tour around San Juan! I will definitely be returning again when I am back in PR! Highly recommend!!

Google
Excellent excursions. One of the best snorkeling reef I’ve ever been to. The beach was beautiful. Lunch was good and plentiful with a great selection of fruit, snack, and cookies later. Had a wonderful time. The crew was outstanding! So friendly and helpful they made the day safe and spectacular!!

Google
We had a great experience with East Island Excursions. Captain Jose’ Fernando and his crew were very friendly and professional during our entire trip. The food was well prepared and the complementary cocktails were amazing!! They took us to the best spot on Icacos beach that wasn’t overcrowded and perfect for seeing plenty of fish. Afterward, we were taken to a great spot where we could go snorkeling and capable of see ing lots of beautiful fish. My wife isn’t a great swimmer, but she still able to get the opportunity to get in the deep waters with the help of provided floating harnesses to keep her safe and enjoy her time on the water. I will definitely book East Island Excursions on all our futures trips back to Puerto Rico!!

Google
Captain Jimmy got us through very choppy waters with ease but it was rough for some folks. They advised us it would be that way the day prior so please take something if prone to seasickness. Must say that the crew David, Paola, Orlando and Adrian are the best. Great service made everything better from start to finish. Definitely recommend!!!

Yelp
East Island Excursions is hands-down my favorite company to visit Icacos Island with! I've had the pleasure of taking their catamaran about ten times, each trip with different groups of family and friends, and every single experience has been phenomenal. Their all-inclusive package, featuring an open beer and rum bar, lunch, and snorkel gear, offers incredible value. But what truly sets them apart is their exceptional staff. Over the years, I've met several different crews, and they all share the same outstanding level of customer service. The staff consistently makes everyone feel safe and well cared for. They're knowledgeable about safety protocols, engage wonderfully with children and non-swimmers, and ensure that everyone has a great time. Their dedication to training is evident--not just with the onboard crew but also with the customer service team who answer the phones. Every interaction has been professional, warm, and helpful. If you're looking for a reliable and enjoyable way to explore Icacos Island, I highly recommend East Island Excursions. They've perfected the art of creating unforgettable experiences.

Yelp
Searched and searched before our Puerto Rico trip for the right excursion for us and ended up booking the full day East Island Excursions catamaran sail and beach snorkel day. The booking process, checking in, and boarding were seamless. The crew were professional and ensured safety was a priority. They included all drinks and food, and even though our boat was large, it didn't feel cramped. The lunch was make your own sandwiches with fresh ingredients and it was very good. The only disappointing thing was the snorkeling. The beach had instructions said stay on one side of the boat, so it was very limited and not much to see. The beach was only able to be explored a brief walk, so no real exploration. You need beach chairs or an umbrella to truly enjoy that part. Most people stayed on the boat. When we got to the snorkel part, it was adjacent to another island and although there was a big reef, not much was seen besides a ray. A group tour of about 100 jet skis came splashing by and likely scared off anything that was around. The water was lovely, and despite the snorkel let down, we enjoyed our day. Nice to see the islands from the water. The catamaran has nice nets and exterior as well as interior areas to feel comfortable on the ride. They have a slide, water mats, and a jumping area from the top deck, so if you just like being in the water, this was a good option.

Yelp
Amazing experience with Jonathan and his exceptional staff! We booked the Culebra Snorkel & Beach Tour and had a blast. The crew provided clear instructions and took great care of us. The ride to snorkeling was quite turbulent as we were going against the current, but as soon as the staff noticed we were feeling bad Jonathan escorted us to sit outside and made us feel safe throughout the ride. Snorkeling was optional - did not see any fish but it was cool to see underwater. Once we got to our second destination Culebra Island, they provided us a delicious sandwich bar for lunch that really hit the spot. We then explored the Flamenco Beach for a couple hours, during which the staff proactively cleaned, refilled our drinks, and provided fresh fruit and snacks. The beach was also beautiful! The sand was very soft and water was super clear. The ride back to San Juan was much less turbulent but the staff still sure we were comfortable and well hydrated. Can't recommend this experience enough!!!

Jacqueline W.

Yelp
What an awesome experience! The experience was really memorable! The entire crew well rounded knowledgeable with exceptional customer service. Riding on the water sightseeing, pool slide a beautiful view no matter where you sat. Lunchtime was tasty then back to the water to the beach what a great day of fun! I'd recommend East Island Excursion to anyone looking for an experience to remember.

Yelp
A friend and I took a snorkeling catamaran trip with East Island Excursions, and it was a pretty fun and exciting way to spend a half day on the water. Our group was on a tour to Icacos Island, and the trip was a little bit choppy (a few people got sick on the boat), but that's not the tour company's fault or anything - just be sure to take some dramamine or motion sickness medicine if you are prone to queasiness on the sea. The catamaran we were on had a few spots of netting so you could actually put your feet over it and get a few little splashes of the sea water below. That was nice, as it was a hot day and it helped to cool down a bit before we were able to get into the water. There were drinks on the boat too, like pineapple and orange alcoholic slushy drinks, so our group was having fun even with the heat. When we were getting closer to the island, we were able to don our snorkel gear and hop into the open water for a bit to see a few fish and coral below. We hopped back on board and made our way to Cayo Icacos, which was a gorgeous uninhabited island with beautiful white sand beaches and impossibly clear water that show just how uninhabited/unspoiled it is. We did a bit more snorkeling off the coast of the island, which was super full of sealife to see. We also walked along the beach and had a fun photoshoot with our small group, before heading back on the catamaran. East Island Excursions also does tours to Culebra and Vieques, so there are more options too, if any of those are on your itinerary to check out. Definitely give East Island Excursions a consideration when looking for tour companies.

Yelp
We come to PR twice a yr most times , as well have used east Island excursions always . Why because they are the best . The whole crew is amazing , any boat you pic you have fun . We enjoyed Christian Conrad's and Suzanne . As well pass trip Carlos and many others can't member their names . The lunch they provide is decent and drinks are ok , as well they always have Medalla beer. Culebra is the best spot to visit I think . Keep in mind weather can change things so you need to be flexible and understanding . Safety is first for them for everyone . Love East Island crew they all have fun personalities and professional.

Yelp
My husband and I had a great time on our Mini Boat tour. It was so fun to be able to drive your own mini boat. The tour guides were very informative and took us around to different parts of San Juan bay. It was a nice added touch that they provided drinks and waters for the tour.

Yelp
If you haven't booked with East island Excursions, then let me entice you. They were amazing!!! Jeremy and Paola thank you for your attention and care! They were so kind, fun, attentive and helpful. The Captain and staff were on top of safety which you will appreciate especially being out at sea. There was music, the drinks were flowing and their lunch was delicious!! Sail was smooth and just great vibes all around . 10 outta 10 experience. They were outstanding and I'd always book with them!

Yelp
Went on a trip to Flamenco Beach via catamaran and it was an amazing trip! I was a bit bummed that the water was murky so there wasn't much snorkeling to be had...but everything else was perfect! The drinks and food were delicious - the jellyfish was my go-to and the sandwich/salad spread was bomb. It was super fun getting served drinks in the water as well. The beach and the waters were sooo beautiful, I can't wait to go back someday! I will definitely be booking with this company again. The crew was awesome as well / shoutout Coral, Luis, and Jeremy(?) !

Mary M.

Yelp
Yes Yes Yes A must!! The experience was amazing. We were well taken care off with good food, drinks, music and wonderful people. A BIG thank you to staff. The sand was so soft The water so blue A 6 hr.gig and worth it. Thanks again for a wonderful day. Pics to follow

Yelp
The trip I book was scheduled to make 2 stops. I have to say I was given the opportunity to reschedule for another time because they did call the day before and I did say "I don't care, I'm in" So, we made only one stop. The conditions were better than they expected. All all it was a great day!

Nikki J.

Yelp
First, shout out to the staff who made sure our group of 9 (and the whole boat) had what we needed to be safe & have fun. We were not on the new boat so we didn't have the cool amenities. However we still had a blast! The snorkeling stop was great. Lots of coral & fish. There were a few jellyfish here which was scary at first -- but we were assured they would not bother us as long as we swam around them & didn't touch them. We stopped at culebrita beach because we were told flamenco had a lot of jellyfish. Culebrita was beautiful! Clear waters, not crowded, beautiful sand. The lunch was delicious -- I don't like mayo at all but I couldn't taste it in the chicken wrap. They also have snacks throughout the trip, as well as various drinks.

Caroline H.

Yelp
We had a fabulous time on the Culebra Island Snorkel & Beach Tour!! Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The crew: Jaylen, David, Pedro, Luis, & Captain Jimmy were super friendly, helpful, & experienced. They took care of everyone like they were family Safety was the #1 priority all well making sure everyone had the best day possible. Culebra Island and Flamenco Beach were spectacular! We highly recommend this company if you want to experience the beautiful islands of Puerto Rico. Oh yeah, lunch was yummy & filling & a snack was provided later after swimming at Flamenco Beach. Water, sodas, juice, and wonderful rum drinks were also included. Thank you for an awesome adventure!

Carlos F.

Yelp
We did not get to go to the island we wanted because of weather but our captain and crew were incredible excellent service the whole day wow amazed

Kyle D.

Yelp
Had An amazing time going to Culebra with them. The crew is so kind and helping and upbeat! Free drinks lunch and snack was An amazing plus as well. Would so very highly recommend a tour with them.

Nichelle W.

Yelp
Had an amazing time... This might be my second review I can't remember. The captain and everyone on board were amazing, I had an amazing time even though we had to divert to a different private beach we still had a good time next time I'll do it again so I can partake in the scuba with fish and turtles in the beautiful beautiful waters. Everyone was so nice to be on my birthday. December 15 was epic as you can see. I set up front with the captain because the people who was supposed to be at my table were a no-show. The girls in the water with me showed me such a good time they made me feel super special as did everyone on the yacht.

Dominique L.

Yelp
Me and my son were visiting Puerto Rico for the first time and East Island Excursions was one of the things we were looking forward to The most during our trip. We got stuck in traffic due to rain and traffic lights on our way causing us a slight delay in arrival time. They called us at 8:30 to ask our ETA, I was grateful we made it just in time. The locations were awesome and the captain and crew were phenomenal. They answered all my questions about the surrounding islands and made some pretty tasty drinks and had a nice lunch provided for the people on board. My sons favorite thing to was the slide! 5 stars I definitely recommend this charter!!!

Paige V.

Yelp
10/10! We went on the new boat which included fun activities which included a water slide, water mats, banana floats for everyone, kayaks, paddle boards, and more! The staff was phenomenal. It was a bit rocky on the seas but they made sure to get us to our desired destination (Culebra) while still keeping passengers safe. Once we got there, they served us delicious food (buffet style) and drinks from the open bar. The staff were always on their feet asking everyone if they would like any food or drinks brought to us. Even while we were in the water, they took our drink orders and threw our trash away for us. In regards to the boat, it was spotless. The whole boat was sanitary, organized, and bright white. It was a good bang for your buck because the service and boat trip was well worth the money!

Cathy Z.

Yelp
We had a once-in-a-lifetime snorkeling trip to Culebra! We saw plenty of tropical fish, two remoras, and we were even incredibly lucky to see a mother humpback whale and her baby on the boat ride back! We stopped at Flamenco Beach, which had beautiful white sands, clear blue water, and coral formations for snorkeling. The crew was so friendly and professional, and always coming around with snacks and drinks. The lunch was surprisingly good. The boarding process was extremely organized and streamlined, and there's a nice coffee and souvenir shop at the check-in area. $175 per person seemed expensive, but it was totally worth it for the incredible all-day experience!

Kaity G.

Yelp
The staff was amazing!! I remember Jay being the front runner. She really loves her job. I can't remember all of the names on board except Chris. But all were so wonderful!! The trip out was choppy and the crew took care of all in need coming and going. The food was basic sandwiches, salads, drinks, (for alcohol, only rum, vodka, and beer based; NO WINE! Dock a star for that). Food was good and filled the gap, fruit medley for dessert, delicious!! Plenty to go around. I highly recommend booking this tour for your trip!! TIP: Bring a water-proof pouch for your phone, and the trek to the beach is tough, so if you want to lounge and not snorkel, bring a bigger waterproof bag for the beach. And water shoes are a plus no matter where you go in PR.

Joseph B.

Yelp
This was an awesome and amazing trip. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I will recommend this tour to everyone who comes to Fajardo.

Jill M.

Yelp
Beat communication and customer service we had during our trip to Puerto Rico. We easily rescheduled when were received a call that the water may not be clear on our original date. Wish we would have asked where the checkin office was located. We found it behind the big security building. Obviously marked. This half day snorkeling trip was a highlight. Bring your sunscreen--lotion only NO SPRAYS, hat, sunglasses, camera, and a beach towel. You don't need anything else. Beautiful clear water, smooth and easy snorkeling over the reef. The fish are colorful. We then spent time hanging out on the beautiful beach. The slide on the back of the catamaran is a must for all ages. Family friendly activity, but rowdy enough to keep the spring break crowd happy. Chris the bartender, Imanuel, his brother the captain, and all the rest of the crew whose names I did not catch did a fantastic job. Top of the line service. Nice spread for lunch, fresh fruit after. Thankful the drinks were not too strong because they went down easily. All equipment was in very good shape and sanitized. Thank you for great memories!

Carol M.

Yelp
Our day trip to Culebra solidified my love for Puerto Rico! I will definitely be back! I have never seen water that color before and even saw a sting ray while snorkeling! Stunning experience! The crew was awesome! Captain Jimmy did great navigating the waves on the way there and ensured we didn't miss out on Culebra! Jeffrey was funny and I'm glad he's back doing what he loves after his injury. His closing message to us was beautiful. We didn't want to leave and I'm pretty sure I was the last one on the boat when leaving the island! #blessed

Tori E.

Yelp
We had a great time with East Island Excursions! Here are three things we loved: 1. It was very well organized. They sent multiple emails and called to confirm our trip the day before. During the call, they provided more information on location, what to expect, etc etc. Communication from the company was 10/10. 2. The food + drinks were great! I was a little worried about the food because I can be quite picky, but it was all really good and fresh. They provided all the ingredients for a great sandwich plus ~3 different salads and a variety of chips. After lunch, they set up a nice fresh fruit buffet. If you have a gluten allergy/sensitivity, they have the ingredients for a lettuce wrap. Additionally, the coleslaw and chickpea salad are both gluten-free. RE drinks - they have an open bar (although they ran out of Medalla lol) but, impressively, they served us while we were floating in the sea. Now that's good service! 3. The crew was great. Super friendly + fun + welcoming. They played great music, got in the water with us, and brought us anything we needed. Highly, highly recommend the Icacos trip from Fajardo with East Island Excursions!

Gabrielle L.

Yelp
The crew were the kindest most helpful people in the world. The waters were choppy going out into the ocean which they warned about. I was with two friends. They have you sit on the inside on the way to the island due to the choppiness. My one friend started having a very bad panic attack / sea sickness and they were very accommodating and helpful and sweet. When we got to the island you have to swim to the beach if you want to go to it. Many people couldn't swim which felt like a weird choice for a snorkeling boat tour, none the less the crew will help anyone get to shore. The chicken wrap, beans, and pasta salad provided were just the right snack for swimming. They also provided chips, yummy yummy rum drinks and fresh fruit. They took pictures for us, and provided fins and helped us find our sizes.

Jessica V.

Yelp
Best experience ever! The crew was amazing--excursion of a lifetime! I highly recommend it.

Felle F.

Yelp
Took away 1 star because of one of the staff members. He soured our experience. He seemed annoyed and not friendly like the other team members. He was not welcoming to myself/friends and I think this was bc we did not speak Spanish. I noticed he was chatting up all the Spanish speakers and offering them drinks and asking if they needed anything. I asked for a flipper. Instead of giving me a flipper, he told me to take the flipper of another guest... Cons: Price- about $130. Snorkel gear not included. About another $30 for gear if purchased from company. Just buy from CVS/Walgreens for $7. Lunch- chicken salad wrap and beans, pretty basic and unappetizing.pack your own lunch. Current was strong so couldn't really snorkel. If you were not a strong swimmer, the current dragged you. Very dangerous Pros: Punctual. Bus picked up exactly at 7. Depart/land was on time. Every other staff was great and helpful. Boat is pretty new and the marina checkin was new and organized. Overall, I paid about $160 ($25 RT hotel pick up/drop off) snorkels not included. Not sure I would pay this much for a snorkeling tour again, especially since snorkels are not included. Please note, due to Covid, the snorkels were not included. This is common throughout all tour agencies not just this one.

Audrey J.

Yelp
Amazing time snorkeling and spending time on the beautiful beach of Culebrita. The water was choppy because of weather but the crew and captain Jimmy did a wonderful job of making the experience fun and worth while. We got to see the exclusive island of Culebrita, literally the most beautiful island I have ever seen. Shout out to the crew Oz and Joel!!!! Would definitely come back again

Karollyne Z.

Yelp
A must-do when in Puerto Rico! The staff was super nice!! Me and my boyfriend were able to drive the mini boat - LOVED the experience! Highly recommend!!!!

Diana G.

Yelp
Best party boat experience ever!! The crew was amazing The food was fresh and plentiful. The drinks were bomb!! Would definitely use again.

Sierra Q.

Yelp
Was very happy I found an open tour last minute, as my previous tour (with another company) cancelled the night before our tour. This was a little more expensive but at that point I didn't care. We did the Culebra Paradise Beach & Fun day tour. Transportation pick-up was easy to get to, especially for those who aren't staying at a typical hotel on their pick-up list. I gave them the location of our airbnb and they found the closest pick up for us which was only a 6 minute walk away. I think it's $30 a person to be picked up by the tour bus. There were a few confusing moments on the bus ride. Not letting a girl on who had a reservation, kicking another girl off at a hotel..... Idk, it was all really inconvenient. It's already a pretty long drive to get to the marina so I just wanted to get there. When we finally got to the marina, check-in was easy if you do your forms beforehand, and we ran inside and finally got some food from the cafe. Staff was very strict about keeping your masks on in the cafe, but on the boat you don't need to. (Buy your snorkeling gear before you get to the marina. It is so expensive on-site). They warned us that the water has been very choppy lately so most of their tours haven't been able to get to Culebra. This particular day we could. Unfortunately I got very sea-sick on the way. I was sick the entire way there. I thought being seated on the outdoor spot of the boat would be cool but it was so bad LOL. I wish we were seated inside. My bf told the tour guides that I was sick in the bathroom and they said being in the bathroom makes it worse... I read another review that they had another customer sit inside when they were sick but I unfortunately did not get that treatment. I couldn't have been happier when we finally got to Culebra. The water was so blue, it's such a beautiful island. Tons of spots on the boat to lay out, or on a float in the water. I do wish that the boat was slightly closer to the shoreline as you have to swim to get to shore so it's very difficult to bring any belongings with you. The tour guides will help you if you need it though. The tour has kayaks you can take out. If you want to snorkel you do have to bring your own equipment but they will supply you with fins. There is a reef swimming distance away. There is a slide, lunch, drinks, etc. So happy we had hours at Culebra! I didn't want to get out of the water. Food was decent, drinks were ok. They forgot to bring us drinks at one point. I think the people who are seated outdoors and not indoors might be forgotten because it seems the people who are indoors get pretty lit LOL. The music is also very loud. Any time a tour guide came over to us we couldn't hear them. Overall, I enjoyed Culebra and the tour was good. I do think for the price you're paying that snorkeling equipment OR transportation should be included. I was told that they used to provide the snorkeling gear but since Covid the sanitization portion is what stopped them.

Yelp
We had a great time on this trip! Service was great and the crew was so accommodating, we definitely recommend East Island Excursions.

Ben C.

Yelp
By far the best excursion experience anyone could ask for while visiting Puerto Rico! The staff are top-notch, and the views are breathtaking. Our expectations were exceeded in every facet. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a boat day.

Michelle T.

Yelp
This was my one of my favorite parts of my vacation. Captain Javier made sure we made it safely (the waters was a but choppy) the crew was amazing (Alex, Orlando, Daniel, and Andres) were super helpful and funny. I was apprehensive about swimming to Flamenco from the boat but Andres helped me there and Alex helped me back. The drinks were amazing (I had non alcoholic drinks), the food was fresh, and the music was nice. Definitely recommend them!

Miguel C.

Yelp
excellent excellent excellent We book a few days before. best decision made to travel to culebra island. the boat was fast and clean. the crew was super friendly ESPECIALLY TJ. She was direct, confident, experienced, and took no BS! Also when we snorkeled to long and missed lunch she dug up a few sandwiches for us and it made our day. We were starving. The drinks were good. i would Of liked more time at flamenco beach but it is what it is. Would book with them again 100%.

Michelle S.

Yelp
Loved every moment (except for the brief downpour). The crew made sure everyone was safe as well as make sure everyone was taken care of. They were fun and wanted everyone to have fun. Highly recommend!!

Motored Catamaran Snorkeling and Culebra Trip on October 28,2022 We had a fantastic time on this trip. The first snorkeling stop was excellent. Since Hurricane Maria, the snorkeling in this area had not been great. At last, the reef and coral are coming back and so are the fish. The water was clear; very nice conditions. Then on to Culebra. We anchored near Flamengo Beach on the left side facing the beach, which allowed for more snorkeling by the reef. The conditions here were also very good; a growing healthy reef with new coral growing. We had some jelly fish (Moon Jelly), but only a few, and not particularly threatening. The food was good and the drinks were plentiful. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Sunset Sail on the Amazing Grace Tall Ship on October 29, 2022 Very enjoyable sail, to the entrance of the San Juan Bay. We got to see a very unique view and perspective of Old San Juan and The San Felipe del Morro Castle. it was too overcast so we did not get an spectacular sunset, but it still was very pleasant. The crew was very nice, but we would have liked to hear more about the early Puerto Rico history. Further, some of the facts about the Capitol construction were not correct.

Yelp
It was a birthday party of 11 lady friends on East Island Excursions private catamaran. Everything was amazing. They served our food and drinks to us while we lounged in the water. They were very attentive and even danced with us.

Yelp
I scheduled the San Juan Mini Boat excursion a month in advance for my husband's birthday. Two days prior, they contacted me to say they were closing the entire day due to low reservations. Frustrating since I had specifically done immense amounts of research for an outing the day of my husband's birthday. They rescheduled us for the day before his birthday. Did some research and found that we re-booked for a cheaper time (early bird special) and East Island Excursions was accommodating in making sure I got refunded for the difference. Tour itself was great. Jose was very informative and we enjoyed learning from him! Pro tip: if you're an experienced boat operator (or have ever successfully driven a boat- even once) you'll want to get up in the front of the group to avoid dealing with an amateur in front of you.

Yelp
Really professional and well run operation. The crew was amazing. They were great at making sure everyone felt safe, taken care of and were enjoying their time. Extra bonus was a nice little lunch and rum bar! Culebra is among the nicest beaches I've been to. Can't go wrong there. And though it was not mind blowing snorkeling, the water was beautiful and the equipment was good. Boat was jam packed. I personally prefer less people and more room to lounge outside. Most of the seating space was inside. Thanks again to Neff and the crew who showed us a great time!

Yelp
We had reservations for a dinghy on 11/12 in the afternoon, but there was a Coast Guard weather advisory for high winds until 8pm (see attached). We called to reschedule, but Gabriela said they were not canceling trips and would not change the date (I was even willing to pay a fee) or provide a refund). This is a blatant disregard for customer safety. Find another company with better customer service.

Yelp
Big shout out to the East Island Excursions crew and the amazing experience they gave my family! Since the moment we arrived to the moment we left the crew was absolutely great and most important attentive. Due to Covid they had an amazing system where they assign your group to a part of the catamaran which is super convenient and smart. Like I mentioned before the crew was super attentive, we never had to look for a crew member to ask for anything they were always there. They made our trip the best one we could've possibly imagined. Also, the boat was clean, drinks were amazing, food was yummy, and views were spectacular. Would do this again with my whole family ! By the way we traveled with two children under 8 years old and they had an amazing time as well. So it's definitely kid friendly! Worth the money I promise!

Yelp
Our experience with East Island Excursion was amazing. We took the Icacos Island trip that included snorkeling and day on the Icacos Island beach. The trip is a must. Don't forget to bring your sunblock because it was very sunny and hot. Overall a must do in Puerto Rico. Who can't say no to an unlimited rum-filled excursion!?

Yelp
My brother and I took a very impromptu trip to PR on 2/10. While in PR we decided to take a trip with East Island Excursion on 2/14 and can I say it was one of the best decisions ever!!!!!!!!! The staff was AMAZING!!! they made sure everyone was having a good time. Several people felt sea sick and the staff knew exactly what to do and how to make them feel better. These people really enjoy what they do and the company better value their work. Thank you for an amazing day in my beautiful Puerto Rico!

Yelp
You guys are absolutely awesome! Some friends and I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and we wanted to have a nice day out at sea and visit some of the other islands! We happen to come across East Island Excursions ... and guys this was an awesome experience at a super reasonable price! We visited isla Icacos ! We got to hang out there for a few hours and hang out on the catamaran as well! The water was AMAZING ! The clearest thing ever! Then we headed off to the reefs to do some snorkeling and that too was Ana es one experience! At least something I'd never done before. In the process the wonderful staff provided so much food like sandwiches, Fruits, chips, vegetarian pasta, bread, and ... ALL DRINKS INCLUDED!!!!! The staff ! Top notch staff ! They were all so professional and truly amazing individuals! Willing to help and overall make sure everyone was safe and had an amazing time! You guys sure made this trip memorable & exactly what we were looking for!

Yelp
Never again, terrible experience. We were expecting a totally different different boat, save your vacation and don't book here

Yelp
We paid $175 a person for an excursion that did not offer what was promised. We were scheduled to visit Cuelbra however due to the weather we were unable to visit any Island not even Vieques. We were taken somewhere in the middle of the ocean where only dark water surrounded us. I was better off staying at Condado Beach instead of paying this amount for a trip in the middle of the ocean where the boat did not even reach the shore. Some of the members of the crew were rude and it appeared they did not want to lose out on money. Overall the experience was disappointing. The ethical thing to do is to inform passengers and allow them to reschedule or partial refund if one decides to go onboard. No one pays this amount of money to see dark gloomy waters and never reach the shore. Be careful when booking!
