My partner and I stayed here for one night over the weekend. We arrived early for our stay and Debbie at reception (who has the warmest smile) checked us into our room early. The room was comfortable (beds are amazing and I’m fussy!) with river views. Windows are double glazed so if they are closed (there is AC) you can only hear a murmur from the bars below. Small kitchenette with fridge microwave etc. The pool is small but perfect for a lazy afternoon in the sunshine. Water is warm. (Sun all day) there is a bottle shop next door to the hotel so you can have drinks (no bottles) by the pool which was great. The next day I didn’t realise check out was 10am (my mistake) so Debbie kindly allowed us to go for breakfast and check out at 11am which was needed! We then stayed by the pool until our ride came a few hours later. I can honestly say we will be back and I highly recommend East Perth Suites. Great service and great location! Thanks Debbie!

Firstly, the reception staff are great! Very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was nice and spacious (we traveled as a couple) and had a good kitchen, bathroom and washer dryer. Nice outdoor area. Very nice location and handy to bus service if you don’t have a car. Nice area to walk around and eateries very close.

We were over from SA to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Stayed 5 nights and were delighted to be given a complimentary upgrade. Thankyou! Beautiful room, great choice of coffee shops, restaurants, hotel and a terrific IGA across the road. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Cleaners did a great job too. Would stay here again!

My partner and I stayed overnight to attend the Perth running festival. It was a short walk to Optus stadium. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Debbie at reception was so accomodating and made our stay - thanks again! Would definitely recommend

We highly recommend this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and down to earth. The rooms were fantastic, with lovely views of the river. They were immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel wasn't informed of why we were all staying, so they probably didn't realise how much their welcome meant to us at the time. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was its proximity to The Royal at the Waterfront, where our dad used to drink regularly after work on Friday nights. It was the anniversary of his sudden passing, and we wanted to be together to honour him. We had booked three rooms on a Saturday night for our family to stay as a surprise for our mum/step-mum. We really wanted to turn what is always a heartbreaking date in our calendars into a weekend filled with lots of laughter, love, and maybe a few tears along the way (when needed). Thank you, East Perth Suites Hotel team, for making sure the weekend was exactly what we needed it to be.

My stay at East Perth Suites Hotel was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I was locked out of my room one night, and despite verifying all my details, the night staff refused to even let me sit in the reception while waiting for security even though she was the one who checked me into the hotel the previous night. I felt unsafe with drunk people around and I told the night staff about it but she couldn’t be bothered. I was treated with rudeness and complete disregard and I was made to wait out in heavy rain and in an unsafe environment When I raised this with Assistant Operations Manager Damien, he was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He repeatedly interrupted me, twisted my words, told me he “didn’t have time to stand here all day,” and walked off while I was still speaking — leaving me in tears which the other hotel staffs witnessed. What made matters worse was that they charged me $88 for forgetting my room card without even confirming with me, and Damien made it clear no refund would be given. I felt cheated. The way Damien spoke to me compared to white/Australian guests made the treatment feel racist — even the hotel security acknowledged this. No empathy, no apology, no accountability. On top of this, the room was dirty on arrival (stains on the toilet, dusty, ash-like residue from the aircon) and housekeeping did the bare minimum. They even threw the pillows on the floor and left it there, didn’t clean the dust and moved away the chair for no reason. I threw the towels on the floor to indicate that I needed a change but they folded and hung it back, I knew this because the stain I left was still there. Bedsheets were stained as well. Stayed there for a week and nothing was changed. I had to consult my lawyer to sue this hotel for negligence of a guest and Damien. This is a clear case of discrimination, and I would strongly advise against staying here.

We have only stayed here once, but it's handy for East Perth events, and they have on-site parking bays, though limited, so check before you travel. Rooms are presented well and quite a decent size, plenty of eateries and IGA, chemist nearby. It was quite a comfortable bed. We shall return there again. Optus stadium is within walking distance, local CAT bus in that area.

I booked and paid, and entered my number plate expecting parking as highlighted in the booking process. The fact is that there wasn't parking available, even though I made it clear during booking that it was required. Would be nice to know before hand, so I could make other arrangements. Not happy, please communicate to your guests.

Yelp
Room 204 is great -- full kitchen including cooktop, stove, dishwasher and washer/dryer, large sitting area and work table, separate bedroom area, balcony with seating for four. Balcony does directly overlook a popular bar, so there's noise outside. We couldn't hear it inside, but some might not like it. Bus stop (free CAT bus) a block away, excellent bottle shop across the street, numerous restaurants adjacent.

Yelp
Great check in experience, very helpful staff and nice touches including free newspapers and the loan of one of the reception fishbowls for my son to look after. Sadly the rest of the stay didn't quite live up - the hotel is a little tired around the edges and the fact that we didn't have a daily cleaning service did not reflect the five star prices.

Yelp
The hotel has a great location but that is pretty much all it has. The lobby has a strange smell. The room is small, the shower door is somewhat off the hinges which results in bathroom floor floods. Towels and bedding are only changed every 3 days so the hotel is not suitable for long stays. When the bedding was changed it had a big yellow spot which we had to ask twice to get changed. There is no cover on the doona which is unclean. The gym is small and has a few cardio machines but no weights. At an average of $250 per night for what is a run down hotel better accomodation is readily avaliable.
