"East Pizzas, Leith. East Pizzas prove that not every pizzeria has been green-white-red Italian. If you source locally and use the best ingredients, then really you can’t go wrong. East Pizzas’ slow fermented sourdough bases only use flour, water, and their own starter. The cheese is from Dumfriesshire and charcuterie from Leith.Pizza makers get excited about crusts. I can see why. Theirs is huge - fluffy on the inside and charred on the outside, while the centre is a delicious gooey mess.Pizza is so often a mass-market and mass-produced product. Yet individually these are of the highest quality."
Delicious pizzas and lovely service. Despite us not having a reservation on a busy night they still made every effort to squeeze us into a free slot which was very much appreciated. Everything's freshly made and there's a good range of toppings. There's a lovely and cozy atmosphere and it's great for dining alone or with a group. Highly recommend 👍.

Pizza are really good, the dough is tasty , a lot of different toppings available (Scottish / Italian) . The restaurant inside is nice as well. The waitress looked overwhelmed and it's something they could improve.

SUPER tasty dough base. Quirky, fun service. Lovely open space. I particularly love that they source their produce and drinks from local suppliers! I’ll be back!!

Yes to this place! Good pizza at a great price. Stylish place, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Major plus points for swift and positive handling of a minor problem. And sourdough crust is tasty and doesn't make your belly swell. Happy days.

We were greeted warmly, although the temperature in this cosy, freshly decorated eatery was a little on the chilly side.
The menu is short but it is just right if you enjoy an evening of eating delicious pizza with a side of fresh olives, and sipping a glass of inexpensive wine. The sourdough pizza base is fabulous!
East Pizzas was not busy tonight, so soon after the festive period, but I expect it’s usually buzzing.
It is well worth a visit.

Very refreshing to find a pizza restaurant in Edinburgh doing great pizza's at a good price. I went with my friend we shared the nduja and a smoked mozzarella with anchovies and capers, both were delicious. All the pizza dough's are made in house as well as all ingredients sourced locally (awesome) Great local beers as well as me and my friend can testify after trying a few. The staff knew what they were talking about and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back soon to try out different pizza's.

Amazing sourdough pizza!
Sundae was a bit small for the price, the ice cream flavours were on point tho, and I got charged for swapping cheeses on a pizza which seemed odd, but didn't take away from a fantastic experience. Staff were lovely and pizza absolutely divine .

A small sourdough pizza place, the menu is shorter, but the pizza is top notch. They are a little off the beaten track, but well worth hunting out :)
