This is an impressive hotel. It has all the facilities needed for a great stay. The hotel is very impressive with a grand reception and the rooms are very tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food, both dinner and breakfast is excellent. The hotel has golf courses which look excellent and a gym and swimming pool.||The only downsides are the beds are a bit soft and there are currently only two 3 pin ev chargers but they are free. There are many new ev chargers being constructed and once commissioned the hotel will have everything needed for a great stay.

I went for afternoon tea with bubbles. We were directed to the restaurant by a friendly receptionist. We had to wait for someone to come to the restaurant desk even though I had booked for a set time. My booking was found and we were asked about allergies and shown to a table. There we were asked if we would like tea or coffee. When the pot of tea arrived we requested to change tables and was told that was fine. After about 10 minutes the waiter brought the afternoon tea stand with a lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and warm scones. At no point were we asked if we needed anything, whether or not everything was to our satisfaction. We were not asked if we would like more tea to have with the food. When we made a move to leave, the waiter came over with a trolley to clear the table. It was at this point I mentioned that it should have been an afternoon tea with bubbles. He apologized that he had not noticed it on our voucher and offered the bubbles at the bar. This I refused as I felt this should have been offered at the start while waiting for the tea. We were then offered a couple of beers or soft drinks to take away. Once again I declined. The voucher was a gift for a special occasion and I felt the level of service was not to a standard of a four star hotel. We left feeling disappointed by our experience at this hotel.

It's been a while but once again we weren't disappointed. We had a lovely welcome from Kevin, Greg, and Tristram. As always, the food was spot on. Well presented starters. A great selection at the Carvery. I'm not a dessert person but thoroughly enjoyed the tart I had for dessert. Everyone in our group enjoyed everything they had to eat.|The Carvery didn't seem to be as busy as usual. It seems that all the advertising around the place is for Hunningtons Grill. I hope this isn't to the detriment of the Carvery. People I know seem to think think Carvery has finished. Come on ESN, I'm sure you don't want to lose a great asset. We will definitely be back

We booked the morning hideaway for a bridal celebration and the whole party had such a great time! The spa was lovely and relaxing and all the staff were so accommodating for everyone, particularly the elderly member of the party. |The afternoon tea was also great and our waiters Cody and Billy went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely afternoon. Even bringing a few extra treats as it was a celebration. Would recommend highly!

This was my second stay at the East Sussex National Hotel Golf Resort and Spa, and it was just as great as the first! The room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning views of the golf course. The staff were friendly and professional, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The spa facilities, especially the pool and sauna, were perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. I’ll definitely be returning again!

This hotel holds amazing memories for us. This is a birthday weekend and it's amazing. The rooms, location, and service is amazing. I can't lie the food isn't great and the treatment I just had in spa was horrible. The actual massage and facial was amazing as was the lovely girl who done it but the noise, banging, people laughing and speaking loudly outside the treatment room , the noise coming from adjacent treatment rooms and the 'tranquility' room so dirty with rubbish pouring out the bin, plastic cups everywhere and mayhem. We go to spas frequently and this is the first and very last time I will be coming back to this one. Actually ruined the experience I don't feel relaxed and now I need to book somewhere else to chill. I then get offered a complimentary 30 mins back massage - after that no thank you Pointless offer as I just didn't enjoy it and it was the worst experience!

Came for afternoon tea. Great selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones with cream and jam. Served by Billyray who was very attentive and friendly. Helped us the feel relaxed. Dining area was stylish and quiet and we were not rushed at all. We would come again.
