East View Guesthouse

I stayed two nights on my own do visit an embassy for a passport renewal. From the moment I arrived Lynette and Jan were amazing hosts. You felt like family more than a guest. My room was extremely spacious with a very comfortable bed and large soft towels. Great fast internet for free, cable TV and the most delicious breakfast. The family organised an Uber to take me to the mall and dropped and picked me up at the embassy and then the Gautrain. Nothing was too much problem. The neighbourhood is safe and a 10 min walk to a shopping centre. Thanks so much you made my stay in Pretoria.

Lynette and Jan are fantastic hosts. They are so welcoming and accommodating. We felt at home from the moment we came through the gate. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was filling and the variety was good. If you're planning a stay in Pretoria, it's well worth a look. ||A bonus is that it is walking distance from the Union Buildings if you want to see them

We had our wedding in Pretoria and stayed the wedding night at East View guest house. Everything about the place was good , from the friendly arrival reception to the friendly goodbye. Lynette , the hostess is a lovely ,warm and friendly person. After the wedding she made the dining area available to us to have some drinks. The breakfast was fanatastic. Would recommend it anytime.

As usual the the host was bubbly and very happy. Room always clean and fresh. I had an unusual encounter at the Airport and without my knowledge from the beauty of her heart she arranged a lift for me. My rating out 10...11 Thanks

Lynette and Jan were amazing! Their home, guesthouse and grounds are beautiful...so well kept! We stayed 5 nts and our sister in another room for 3. At one point, I became ill w/a sore throat and Lynette made me the most delicious homemade chicken soup dinner brought to my room!! Such a lovely family. My mom and I were stuck in Pretoria and had to stay the night. I quickly checked Trip Advisor for a decent place as we have had pretty bad experiences before. I found East View and the amazing reviews and three hours later our lift dropped us off at the gate, booking confirmed and room ready. Lynette and Jan were absolutely amazing and we felt so at home the moment we walked in. The rooms were extremely comfortable with everything you need and the food... it was so nice to have a home cooked meal!! Lynette's number will definitely be on speed dial from now on.

A wonderful stay and great hospitality. I couldn't have stayed in better stay and Lynette was always there to help out when I needed one and even taking us around town. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend it. Vincent

Thank you so much Lynette for your Hospitality. You know how to make people comfortable at your Guest house. The only missing thing for me was the Mini-bar fridge in the rooms. The rooms are well decorated and cleaned properly.
