I stayed here for a few days before shifting to another place. Rooms are a bit on the darker side without enough lighting. The air conditioners are old and take a long time to cool to some degree of comfort. Internet is okay and there is a table to work at with the computer.|The toilet is sort of an open toilet which may be fine for single occupancy, but even for couples, it may not be very nice. The bath also has a clear glass window from the work table and it will be a bit embarassing if say two work colleagues have to share a room. Found it odd.|The breakfast which was included in the fare was good, but the hotel does not have a restaurant after 2:00 pm. However, the location is very good and one can get some dinner from restaurants around. We requested for a slightly late checkout or a place to freshen up before leaving for the airport, but the staff members could not allow. Most of the staff members do not speak English.

We had enjoyable stay here for 5 Nights. We were slightly concerned by the negative remarks before we arrived but couldn't fault the hotel. Yes, it's old but it's beautifully clean and well kept. ||The toilet is located in a "closet area" and shower in the room but both were fine. The staff were amazingly helpful (we found this with all the Myanmar people we met); especially the doorman who regularly assisted us with obtaining taxis to get to the various sights at good prices. ||There is a nice restaurant in the hotel. However, we recommend the Suzuki Restaurant (leave the hotel turn left and walk 2 mins to the base of the pedestrian bridge) which has English menus and used by locals (always a good sign). There are also food courts within 5 mins walk at Junction City mall and at Sule Square mall (opp hotel).||Also, took the $10 heritage walk round the corner at the park outside the City Hall with Yangon Walks - book via email https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g294191-d6643916-Reviews-Free_Yangon_Walks-Yangon_Rangoon_Yangon_Region.html ||

Very friendly, helpful and flexible hotel staff. The hotel is very central located, the rooms are quiet, clean, old and simple furnished and could be more bright. For the good price it's reasonable. The included breakfast was tasty. We felt warm welcome and enjoyed the great hospitality of the hotel crew.

Good to stay at the center of the city. Every place seems only walking distance away. The hotel itself provide good service. Room rate is reasonable for the location. The only problem for me is the toilet room. The use of the portable curtain instead of a real door is not good if you do not stay alone.

hotel is very clean and staff are very polite and nice people. they are always ready to help you with any kind of changes you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.they serve food which is OK, breakfast is great and it's complimentary. the only thing I dislike is the TV which has only 10 channels and in which 1 or 2 English channels.junior suite has bathtub but it's kind of small for 1 person to completely fit in.

Hotel is in a great location for exploring downtown Yangon. ||Room was clean and spacious. Aircon worked great!||The shower and toliet set up is strange but not an issue if you are traveling with a friend! ||Breakfast was basic but nice. Very friendly doorman always smiling.

Room was dusty, the floor was sticky, no preasure on the shower. We book 4 rooms, and all the rooms have issues. Toilet is inside the room with no ventilation, STAY AWAY!! Their agoda pictures is from 2010 very deceiving. We moved to a different hotel only after 1 night of the 10 nights we booked. All the other guest also complain, again stay away travellers!!

Simple accommodations but comfortable. Free breakfast provided next door at Mr. Chef (spelled different) and they do provide room service. Free bottled water provided on every floor in a mini fridge. There are TV channels in English (not many) but one TV channel that is all crime shows. Clean rooms and clean, great smelling linens, air conditioner, tile floors, hair drier, beautiful shower with hot water but low pressure (just expect longer showers). Be sure to bring outlet converter, they have the 2 prong, tubular outlets. The staff is super friendly and attentive. If you want simple, no frills, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel stay this is definitely the way to go.
