Eastern Food Bazaar

It's a happening to go there as a tourist. It's very affordable and huge portions of food. We tried the famous bunny chow and couldn't even fully finish that huge portions 😂 I recommend sharing one. Great atmosphere tho. We had great chats with locals here too. Will come again ♥️

Bought the chicken fried rice and the Szechuan noodles with rice. The chicken fried rice was extremely salty—so much that I had to throw it away. The Szechuan noodles were spicy, but honestly nothing special and lacked flavour. Portion sizes were big for both, but that didn’t matter because the food just wasn’t tasty overall. Disappointing experience.

We specifically went for shwarma's, but the electricians were busy fixing the ovens at the time. Food was delicious. Recommend to go at 11h00 and be out by 12h00 if you want to miss lunch hour rush & busloads of tourists

Different delicious cuisines are available. Moderate price and quantity is good for more than a person like me! Kebab, wraps and little indian dishes are available. Turkish wrap was delicious, Ice-cream corner was a good number of mixtures.. Spacious!!

Fun Fact: This restaurant is featured in the Denzel Washington movie Safe House! The first thing that hits you when you walk into Eastern Food Bazaar is the smell of warm spices. The space is a long tunnel with food prep on the one side and seating on the other. You can sit wherever you'd like once you get your food. I ordered three vegetable samosa and a chicken schwarma wrap with chips. I was surprised by the generous portion of meat (much more than you'd get from a franchise like Anat or Mi-Vami), and doubly impressed at how masterfully the employee was able to fold in all the salad and toppings I requested! The wrap was very tasty, and was so big that I ended up taking almost half of it home for left-overs.

Close your eyes and walk into the Eastern Food Bazaar, and then open them. You will think that you've been transported miraculously, to the east. The aromas and the selection of eastern cuisine is indescribable. Buy something, anything. But buy, and find a table, and sit. Now eat! The food is not only delicious, it is generous too. For true value for money with loads of taste thrown in, visit the Eastern Food Bazaar. I guarantee you will come back.

A nice variety of foods. Potions are very good and tasty. Pricing is good too. The ordering process and the actual aquasition of the foods however was somewhat chaotic. I had to que in multiple different lines for our food. We were a total of six people. Perhaps have an assistant or two for such occasions. Also the tables had to be cleared and cleaned by us before we could sit.
