Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai

We arrived at Eastin Grand Bangkok just after 6 a.m. from a night flight, and to our pleasant surprise, our room was ready within 30 minutes. While waiting, we were offered a welcome drink and coffee, and even an upgrade option, though we chose to stay in our original room. Our 35th-floor room was spotless, with housekeeping consistently delivering excellent service. The view over the Bangkok skyline, especially in the morning, was a highlight in itself. Breakfast in the Executive Lounge was refined and calm, with a smaller but very good selection, while the main buffet on the 5th floor offered a much wider variety. Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and professional, always checking in on our comfort. Communication via the hotel app was seamless, and in the evenings we especially enjoyed their beautifully prepared cocktails. We also had dinner at the hotel, where once again the service was impeccable. The property is modern, polished, and very well maintained. Both swimming pools were pristine and offered amazing views of the city, while the fitness center was spacious and well equipped. With direct train access from the first floor, the location is ideal for exploring Bangkok. Overall, Eastin Grand Bangkok delivered a first-class experience — excellent service, impressive facilities, and thoughtful details.

Just returned from an amazing holiday from Bangkok! I never been a city break holiday type of person but this hotel and Bangkok has changed my opinion. This hotel gives you everything you are after for a perfect city break with comfort and luxury, an extra bonus with the great location.|Myself and my husband booked a basic room but in the arrival we decided to upgrade to an executive room and it was the best decision. Having an executive room comes with a benefits such a complimentary use of the executive launch that offers food and drinks. The room itself was very spacious, luxurious with an amazing view.|Their breakfast is unbelievable!!!! I mean I’m a chef and it blows my mind my mind, the selection just never ends. I found myself walking around in the morning and struggled to decide what to eat because I just wanted everything. We also had lunch at the hotel and it was the same quality, excellent fresh food.|Staff members are just one of the humblest and polite people I came across throughout my travels.|The hotel is located about 40 mins train ride from the airport and honestly is soooo easy (end cheap/ £2.50 for 2 people one way) to get to. The hotel location is fantastic, office buildings and loads more f massive shopping malls nearby, restaurants, rooftop hotels etc, We tried tuk tuk taxi and it was very cheap and fun ( i personally loved it) to get around the city/ about £6 for a single ride, We stayed only 3 nights but we could have done easily a week. We also had a half day trip booked through the hotel (luxurious transport and our own tour guy) to see the train marked and the floating market, it’s a must do if you visiting Bangkok.|The hotel also offers spa, gym and two infinity pools one is on the 22nd floor and the other on the 38th floor. The views are breathtaking!!!!||Would I go back to this hotel? Hell yeah!!! In a heartbeat!

Really lovely hotel! Amazing location, straight off the airport line into the hotel, so convenient. Amazing rooms, really comfy beds, great view & big room. Amazing service as always. Great pools with fantastic views. Breakfast is really good but not wow, have definitely had better. Also no coffee machine or iron in the room which would’ve been nice. But overall a great stay.

I had an exceptional stay at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. First of all, the location couldn’t be more convenient—it’s only about 27 minutes by train from the airport, making it incredibly accessible. As one of the newest hotels in Bangkok, the property feels both luxurious and modern, with a refined sense of style. I was especially impressed that the staff still remembered me from my stay last year. The Executive Lounge team provides service on par with butlers at some of the world’s best hotels, and I’d like to extend special thanks to Fah and Jemy for her outstanding hospitality. The Club Lounge offerings were also remarkable. Drinks included a wide selection of cocktails, red, white, and sparkling wines—the Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine, in particular, was excellent. The food was equally impressive. Two dishes stood out to me: the smoked salmon with its lovely, delicate smokiness, and the moo ping (Thai-style grilled pork skewers), which was juicy, incredibly tender, and absolutely delicious. I had originally planned to just have a light bite before dinner, but the food was so good that it turned into dinner itself. Overall, this hotel sets a new standard in Bangkok with its perfect blend of accessibility, elegance, and world-class service. I’ll definitely be back.

My stay at this hotel was all good. Room was decent size except alittle dusty. Staff was generally polite and helpful.||It is our first time staying in this hotel. The breakfast selection was good and I particularly liked the window seats as I like enjoy the view. ||The feel good feeling kinda got tarnished on my last day at the hotel. I was looking forward to breakfast as usual and requested for window seat. The staff attending to me told me it’s not avail without even checking. I was disappointed but I found an avail window seat on my own and moved over. A staff came by with another guest and asked me if I have shifted to the table near window, I said yes. She looked irritated and ignored me, continued bring her guest to another table. Is this the type of hospitality u want ur guest to experience? My mood was affected that day which could otherwise be a great end to my Bangkok trip😒

We took the airport train to the Playa Thai stop. It is a short walk, on a covered walk-way, and we were offered compensation for the cost of the transportation. Our room, on the 35th floor, offered incredible vistas of the city. We worked out in the gym and the equipment is modern, clean and functional. We ate breakfast at the 5th floor and it is worth every penny—be sure to include the breakfast package on your booking! What more can I say? This hotel should become a case-study for how to do customer service well. We left feeling as though we had been treated like royalty and we will plan to return. Thank you!

I had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-maintained and spotless the entire property was from the lobby to the rooms, everything looked pristine and smelled fresh. The housekeeping staff clearly take pride in their work, as my room was cleaned to perfection every day, with fresh towels, neatly made beds, and a tidy bathroom. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the hotel’s unbeatable location. It’s situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance to popular tourist attractions, shopping areas, and a wide variety of restaurants and cafés. Whether I needed a quick bite, a pharmacy, or access to public transport, everything was just a few steps away. Despite being so central, the hotel was surprisingly quiet at night, allowing for restful sleep. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Best 5 stars hotels I’ve stayed at for awhile. Location is excellent directly connected to BTS sky train and airport links through the mall / bridge. Room is spacious, bright with no obstructive view. Very clean, bed and pillows are heavenly. Water pressure is excellent. Bathroom set up is good for make up etc. The best thing is the buffet breakfast - the variety is vast but the crucial point is quality despite the quantity of choices! Quality is top notch and doesn’t disappoint at all! Make sure you dedicate a good one hour to enjoy the breakfast. We had premium lounge access and that’s well worth the extra cost. Their happy hour free flow drinks and snacks are ample enough to make you cancel dinner plans. They also have breakfast served at the premium lounge - and they have a little something extra that the buffet doesn’t offer. The customer service is also excellent, very well done in their customer experience and delivery. Very attentive. The pools are nice and romantic and enough for you to do laps too should you wish. Can’t say enough good things about it, already dreaming and planning my next trip back! Most definitely!
