Absolutely love this resort. An amazing location right next to the beach, arcade, and shops. Large rooms that feel like you're staying in a condo. I've stayed here 3 times and look forward to my next. Also great price!

We just left the resort today and had a great stay. The Condos were full with really nice people, many families that covered multiple generations. Only one tool in the bunch (didn't follow parking edicate) We stayed in a condo that faced the courtyard and payed mid 70's for off season. The unit was very clean and had a queen size bed and a couch for our child. Plenty of room in the kitchen and bathroom for the 3 of us. Didn't see the logic in staying on the outer units since the views are only of other buildings and we didn't stay in the room long enough to care. On the positives everyone was really friendly and the walk to the beach is less then a minute. The walk to the grocery store was about 12 minutes and less then a mile to Hannaford's and multiple resturants. Really good setup for long weekends and week long stays. On the negative side the Beach is a rocky one and at high tide you can't get on it. Over all we look forward to staying again.

Good location. Short walk to the beach. Spacious, clean , one bedroom appointment. Full kitchen, with everything, you may need. Nicely decorated. Enough parking spaces. Friendly stuff. We had some issue with AC, and new one appeared, when we came back from a beach. Nicely done.

This place gets a 2 star because of location. It is not what it once was since new management took over. No more room cleaners, two towels per room and they kept our security deposit because they claimed we did damage to the room. Funnily enough my family has been coming to the resort for 30 years and staying in that room specifically for the past 5 trips. New management just kept the deposit knowing Canadians probably will let it go. Really disappointed that our tradition ends now on a sour note. We will stay elsewhere. But the location is prime so it gets 2 stars.

What an amazing place! We stayed in a very nicely appointed, very beachy, one bedroom apartment. Our room didn't have a view of the ocean, but you could see it easily from the end of the balcony. So comfortable and cozy. The innkeeper was fabulous! She gave us a great rate considering the apartment had a brand new kitchen in it and it was fully furnished. I can't imagine we could have stayed at a nicer place, with nicer people. Upon arrival, there was a cute little welcome note on the granite countertop adjacent to the kitchen. I wish I would have taken pictures, because there's no way I can describe how cute it really was. Besides the bedroom, there was a full size sofa and a full recliner in the living room with the cutest lobster trap coffee table! This place was decorated from the heart! We will definitely stay here again.

These accommodations are condominiums. Mostly one bedroom units and one very nice suite with loft. Queen bed, living room, full size appliances. Everything you need for cooking and entertaining. No dining table in our unit but a very nice full size breakfast bar. Flat widescreen TV with cable. We had a Charmglow electric fireplace in our unit (106) that gave off a good amount of heat. Northern most units would have a glimpse of the ocean. Approximately a 100 yard walk to the beach, Close by gift shop and ice cream stand. Several very good restaurants with 1.5 miles. You can't beat the off season rates. The only downside was a weak Wi-Fi signal but management said they are trying to improve it.

We just got back from a short trip - East Winds Resort is perfect. Everything to offer - great location on Wells Beach and a wonderful place to stay. What can we say but thank you to the staff and the manager for making our stay perfect. The best is that you leave your car parked and just a few steps is the beach. You will want to come back every year. Shelly was wonderful. Thank you for answering any questions we had. We had a few condos to choose from and Shelly was kind enough to recommend the unit we stayed in. When you see the units on line when booking, is what you see when you arrive and open your door. It is a resort that you will want to come back to year after year. Perfect weather, restaurants, and a perfect condo to come back too when you're out all day. Thank you East Winds Resort. See you next year. L & P Hricik

We've been in the EastWinds Resort every year for about the past 20 years and have never been disappointed. We've been to a lot of places close by, having been going to Wells Beach for almost 40 years each August, but East Winds is the best value overall. You get maid service daily, even though its a condo, they are well appointed and updated often. The staff is the best and make you feel at home all the time. Treat these places as you would your own and you'll have no problems. With full kitchens you can make your own meals when you're tired of going out and fighting the crowds. We bring a refrigerator full and bring lunch to the beach daily. Plus now you get your Seaside Discount card and get as much as 15% off some of the best restaurants in ALL of Maine. We'll return year after year, for sure.
