The Easy Inn 202 is very safe and clean. The stuff is very respectable and helpful. They always greet you with a smile. The room I stay in was great, just needed a bigger tv 📺.Love the back deck wish you could walk from the inside to the desk. I recommend it 👌 👍

This is the second time I've stayed at the Easy Inn and will likely not be the last. While it is a no frills place, it is always clean and safe, which is all one really needs. If you are there with a big group, sometimes the hot water may not keep up with the use and you may end up with a cooler shower; this happened the first time I was there, but this past time was no issue. The water pressure isn't great, but it gets the job done. The ladies at the front desk are wonderful! They'll call a cab if need be, and gave me some good recommendations of places to get food. While the area around the Easy Inn is not walkable, especially at night time, there is a night security guard. There is a gas station right across the street that has coffee and meat pies in the morning, and snacks and cold beer for later on. Each room has a TV and AC which is really nice. The walls are kind of thin, so if you have rowdy neighbors, you may be able to hear them; travel with ear plugs. Honestly, the noise that kept me up was the rattle of the door due to the wind, so I just put the chair against it and it solved the problem. There are nicer hotels in the area, as well as hotels that are closer to food and shops. However, when comparing the Easy Inn with other places, for the cost, this is the absolute best. It is clean, it is safe, and it is consistent.

Beds are like sleeping on wood. No warm water. Floors are dirty due to muddy road construction our front. Communal fridge. No phone in room so if your phone doesn't work there, ask front desk to call a taxi for you or to borrow phone to schedule a tour. Outlet was wiggly so plugs wouldn't stay in. No deadbolt door locks. Basic doorknobs with easily pickable locks. No elevator so if you have joint issues, ask for floor 1 room. Worth about 45 us dollars a night but charges 100. Pros: friendly helpful staff Cuter terraces to sit on Grocery store is 3 buildings away Owner trying hard to update place but town has lack of material to do it efficiently or cost effectively. Honestly I would not recommend staying in Belize City at all. It's run down. Dirty & unsafe, and nothing to reallysee or do except flea market type shops but not worth dodging cars with no pedestrian safety in mind. Just go there for the tour pick ups. If you do, know that most things close by 6pm. It is run down, dirty, sidewalks & sewer grates are dangerous.

Clean, no frills spot to rest. The back deck is a peaceful spot to watch the river

I had such a great stay here! Everyone who works here is so nice, and Vita went above and beyond to help make my arrival easy and worry free. The location is a little far from downtown, but the grocery store is not even a block away, and I was able to get food and cook most of my meals here. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe with someone always at the front desk and the door locks worked very well. The price was very reasonable as well.

Great prices compared to other hotels in the area. It's a basic type hotel. Has the basic stuff you need. We were looking for a cheap place near the beach. Rooms are clean, staff was friendly. They speak mostly English here and very little Spanish. I was able to translate for our group as I speak both. TV has great channels room has a desk for working, great, cold AC, beds are okay, a litte too soft for me, but no problems. Bathroom was nice and clean, staff gladly gave us more towels and washcloths, plenty of TP.|All in all a great deal for the price, would stay here again. BTW, this place was recommended by another hotel at the end of the strip, because they were full.|

The hotel is very old but the rooms were relatively clean. |There is no coffee or water in the rooms and unavailable on site. |Had an issue getting hot water but that could be because of the age. |The hotel did post some awards from hotel associations but nothing new since 2014 |My biggest complaint is the rudeness of the staff completely unnecessary for visitors to their establishment |We asked for a few extra minutes after the 11AM checkout because our taxi was on its way and were told we had to pay very rudely. Okay that’s the rules so we were packing up and ready to leave before the 11AM checkout. |Guess what a knock at the door from the rude front desk lady making sure we were not going to be a minute late. |Anyway stay at your own risk.

This hotel used to have good service and good rooms but it has really become a slum hotel more recently. After 15 minutes of running the shower, I concluded that the hot water does not work; so I started to call front desk. I tried for 30 minutes and nobody answered the land line or cell phone. What happens if people need help and in my case have a disability that makes it a challenge to go to front desk?
