Easy Tiger Hostel - Jungle Bar

Probably one of the best hostels we've stayed in. Beds were comfy with mosquito nets attached. Lots of varying happy hour drink deals (5pm-9pm) and a large social area with regular live music from the locals and guests alike. Good hammock chill out area near the pool too. Great choice of food and drink with TVs that show whatever sport is on usually. Very extensive tour book as well.

I didn't stay here but I had dinner and the next day watched the live band and bought some sweets for the road. The value for the portions you get is really great. I had the mixed fruit plate with yogurt and it was a lot of food! I also got the banana bread, where you get two big warm slices and can choose between chocolate, honey, or some other topping. I chose chocolate and it came with peanut butter as well. It was one of the best banana breads I've ever had and with those toppings, I was in heaven <3. I also got the chocolate cheesecake muffin to go and it was delicious. After eating healthy so much, I splurged a bit on the desserts! The live music ran from about 7 - 11pm with different bands singing alternative rock songs from the 90s (songs that were popular in the U.S. back then) and they were really good, the whole crowd would sing along at some points too. The hostel itself looked nice, with large communal dining tables, a pool table, swimming pool, and big social vibe.

Lively hostel with a great layout. Full sized lockers in the rooms (we had no issues putting our 50L bags in them, as well as our motorcycle helmets). Clean towels, hot water, friendly staff. Food was all western options, which can be nice if you're missing home. They have live music on certain nights and free beer starting at 6pm that goes til the keg runs out. They're centrally located so it's a quick walk to all the nearby restaurants and shops.

Excellent place to stay! It is sooo social and friendly! Such a good space to chill out with all the hammocks, pool and benches, you will meet people so easily. Live music every night which is a bit annoying as it's so loud you can't speak to people. It stops at 11 though and people go to the nearest bar. A few reviews say the food was bad but we had a great experience. The food was delicious and after 10 weeks of rice and noodles, some good western food was a welcome break. Rooms are nice but SO hot. The air con is awful and they only have it on between 7pm-10am, and I swear it doesn't work. We also had cold showers but it wasn't too bad. The free information talk is great! They tell you the cheapest way to do things and don't push any tours on you. Make sure you book in advance as they're so packed all the time. You have to book two nights minimum, but we ended up staying 3 anyway!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating, as well as many amenities the offer are wonderful. However, their WiFi does not work both in the bar area and in the rooms, and I will warn you DO NOT eat the food here. Go next door if you need something quick. Myself and multiple other people all had food poisoning from the jungle bar in separate occasions all getting different items. But like I said, the staff was great and helpful, as well as the 9 am information session you do not want to miss!

Absolute bliss. What a great place, amazing staff and fantastic food and drinks. It felt like we were at a resort. Relaxing in the pool, listening to awesome music and playing pool until the late hours of the night. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend easy tiger!! Clean, professional, fun.... All in all just amazing.

Had a really good 6 day stay here. Super attentive and helpful staff, took good care of me during quiet low season, felt like a special guest in their care. Basic accommodation, as expected, but the best place in town for socialising in the bar and common areas. Actually got hot water in the shower too, which is not always a sure thing. I would definitely be back if the chance arises. :)

Clean, well managed and super helpful. Beds were comfy enough and rooms were a decent size. Make sure you attend the 9 am briefing once to get the low down on all the caves and other things to see. Free beer at 6 pm, and they offer tons of services but are not pushy with them and even will honestly tell you if a tour isn't worth the money.
