The restaurant itself is really nice, and I was genuinely looking forward to the experience as it advertises Western food. I was particularly in the mood for steak and chips. Unfortunately, I took the recommendation of the Chateaubriand, which turned out to be a mistake, I should have stayed with a simple fillet and chips.
The food overall was okay, but not what I had hoped for given the positioning of the restaurant. One gentleman on the service team was excellent, professional, attentive, and welcoming. Sadly, the rest of the service was very poor. We were repeatedly asked if we had a booking despite the restaurant being empty, which felt unnecessary and awkward, and the general level of attentiveness from most staff was lacking.
A beautiful venue with clear potential, but the service and food execution did not match the setting or expectations.
