Eating Europe Food Tours Rome

What an amazing way to discover authentic Roman dishes, in places you’d never dream of visiting on your own. We planned it for the end of our trip, but it would be great to do at the start, as a way to find hidden gems to re-visit. Jasmin was the perfect host, local with a genuine love for the family businesses she took us to. Full of enthusiasm for food and wine, and equally knowledgeable about history too. We joined a great mix of interesting people and Jasmin kept us all entertained like a true professional for the whole 4 hours. Highly recommend it!

Luca Murphy had a very natural and genuine way of bringing people together. We were a group of 8, starting off as total strangers and ended with knowing details of each other’s personal lives. By far the best tour we have taken. The company does a magnificent job with carefully curating the itinerary and introducing us to local restaurants with a clear passion for their craft. Each one of our stops had incredible food, but the rapport he had with each owner was a sight to see. Absolutely highly recommend this company, and more importantly we absolutely recommend Luca Murphy to be your tour guide. I promise that he will keep you laughing through the night. Grazie Luca! Exceptional tour with Jasmine. My husband and I were joined by 9 male school friends from Warwick School. Jasmine did brilliantly at holding court. The friends were great fun and actually made the tour very entertaining. Jasmine is extremely knowledgeable about the architecture and culture. The stops we went to were outstanding and the food at each one was superb.

Amazing!!!! Murphy is one of the best guides we’ve ever experienced and the VIP golf cart food tour was an outstanding and fun mix of venues, food and drinks. Loved drinking prosecco overlooking Rome, riding through neighborhoods, learning so much history and modern day tales. The street market was a favorite but lunch at a true charming gem called Angelina was also a joy. Ended on a high note with the best gelato in Testaccio. BRAVO!!! Highly recommended ❤️🍷🥂🤗

What a fantastic way to enjoy and learn about Roman food and visit a very cool neighborhood - Trastevere. It was a great experience from start to finish thanks to our leader Miri, who was fantastic. Over the four hours we walked, ate, and quickly made new friends on our group ( there were 11 of us; no group is more than 12.) Two thumbs up for Eating Europe’s Twilight Trastevere food tour. I highly recommend!

This experience is a must for food lovers traveling to Rome and looking for unique and hard to find local spots. The places they take you to would be almost impossible to find or get into without some serious local connections. Giuseppe was our guide and he was super knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and made the experience super fun. My wife and I live in NYC and actively seek quality food. We had the best burrata we’ve ever eaten at da Enzo on this tour. We ate there before the restaurant was open to the public and when we left, the line was around the block, and for good reason! You also get a tour of a 2000 year old wine cellar at Spirito Di Vino, which was incredible. Everything else was top notch and you also get to meet some cool people along the way. 10/10, will do this again if/when we come back to Rome!

I did a tour with Eatinh Europe in Rome and it ended up being the highlight of my trip. Our guide Rish was amazing — super charismatic, warm, charming, and welcoming, and clearly very knowledgeable. He mixed Rome’s history, food, culture, and local traditions in such a natural and fun way that it never felt like a lecture. We visited so many authentic places and met amazing Italians. I had an absolute blast the whole time. Honestly, Rish was the best part of it, he was the soul of our tour! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to make their trip to Rome truly unforgettable!

We had a private walking tour of Trastevere with Giuseppe and it was AMAZING! We spent 4 fabulous hours walking, eating, drinking, and learning all about the lovely area of Trastevere. Every bite and every sip was better than the previous one. Peppe was funny, charismatic, and knowledgeable about all things Rome. Not only did we learn about the local food and restaurants, we also learned about Italian history and culture. No question was off limits. We would highly recommend a private tour because we got the VIP treatment from every restaurant and we had amazing conversations.
