Echigoya Ramen Melawai

One of the best Japanese ramen in Jakarta. If you like strong flavor, go for the samurai tsukemen. It has chashu inside the dipping soup too, so don't worry about the only 1 slice of chashu on your ramen. Dilute your dipping soup with the wari dashi after finishing your noodles to drink it as a reward, it's really heart-warming. However you might want to ask them for smaller type of noodles, because the default noodles are thick, heavy and they send you a serious portion, that bowl is seriously deep. Gyoza is okay, ebi furai was a bit underwhelming, taste like frozen ebi furai. Another complain that I have was why does it comes with hard boiled egg ? Why not ajitama ? I want my egg comes with runny, soft yolk on my ramen. Second complain is I wish they straighten the noodles before they put it in the bowl, the noodles are long, kinda tangled and it's hard to pick them up with the chopstick.

We had the Jakarta ramen and echiran ramen, Jakarta is nice but its on the salty side. Echiran more on the creamy side. Was disappointed with the egg, it wasn't the runny yolk ramen egg. The thick noodles is too al dente, too chewy for my liking. I prefer the thin noodles better.

echiran ramen is super delicious, i love the super strong pork broth, the chili sauce can be separate by request if you don't like spicy at all. for me, hard boild egg inside the ramen is not match, i prefer the ajitama. ajitama is soft, yummy and well seasoning, just perfect. pork fried gyoza also very delicious even eat without any sauce (or soy sauce). i don't like the chicken karaage, taste yummy but just not worth the price. the lettuce garnish was dirty, i don't now they wash it or not, it can contaminated the chicken karaage. 👎 ocha can be refilled 1 times. staff was humble and fast about everything. the dine in area always full, waiting list up to 30 minutes but it worth to queueing. the restaurant not really big but not small too, the place is full of customers. AC was cool enough for many people, not the cozy dine in area because all staff always running rushing to serve all customers. noisy but easy to talk. they have clean and big toilet inside the restaurant. parking in front of the store but seems full. I'm using public transportation (MRT) to get here. walking distance from blok M MRT station

An authentic ramen spot, and the japanese owner is frequently there. They serve pork and chicken here, so great for everyone. I strongly believe that the miso tsukemen is the best thing on their menu, with the thick noodles of course. The ocha is free refill, the gyoza is amazing, and the karaage is freshly fried and so tasty. Love this spot, will keep coming back.

Delicious ramen 👍, love the broth, karaage 👍 gyoza 👍 cha-han (fried rice) 👍 crowded even after lunch hour, cosy establishment, friendly staff, you could see how they make noodles on the spot, for individuals you could sit at the bar, some Japanese comics available. Got lucky with parking nearby.

I love it! Full packed during lunch, waited around 10-15 mins to get table. We ordered Toripaitan Ramen, Echiran Ramen, Toriechiran, Mini Chahan, Tori karaage, then mochi for dessert. All were delicious! Friendly service. Maybe should cooling down the room temperature as it was quite crowded.

Great place to have your Japanese meal. Tastes very real and is not that expensive. Service was good. Food was nice. The place is comfy, and I like the food plating style. I recommend this place if you are looking for nice Japanese food in South Jakarta

Crowded, small place, but the food is definitely worth the wait if you are looking for some nice Japanese Ramen. Price is affordable and the service is great! My favorite dish is the cheese potato wedges! Those are to die for! Would recommend trying this place out for sure!
