We did the full tour, from Madonna to Crystal Chamber. Piet was our friendly and knowledgeable guide. My son and I were the only two guests on the first section, so Piet was comfortable chatting and also sharing some personal titbits. Other guests joined us for the middle section only. The sights are fascinating. The experience is less commercialised and popularised than Sudwala. One feels very close to nature. If you're OK with a short crouch and squeeze, the Crystal Chamber is totally worth it.

This was something to remember. I will be coming back here again for sure. Our guide was great and our experience was absolutely amazing. We did the entire cave system from the Madonna to the crystal tour. The caves are beautiful and stunning and the climbs and stairs give you a decent workout. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who wants some great views and memories. Entrance was cheap at R85 per person.

The caves were amazing. We only did the short walk but it was well worth the visit. Thabo was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. The negatives were that even the short trip is not really suitable for people with mobility restrictions. My husband uses a stick & has a leg brace (also over 70) and it was not mentioned that there would be areas where he would have to almost crawl. It was also disappointing that when we got to the restaurant (on a Monday) we were told that it was only open on Fridays and Saturdays. An enjoyable outing.

We went to the caves and Piet was our guide. He was well informed and answered any questions qe might have. This is a remarkable cave and it is amazing to see how it formed. The entrance was R85 per person. They have a restaurant. The food smelled amazing and when we walked past it looked delicious.

We did not stay at the hotel but only visited the caves. Junior was our guide and we received superb service from him. He really did a lot of effort to ensure we saw everything. I would recommend to anyone except those with mobility issues. There are LOTS of stairs and bending and even crawling. Awesome experience

Hidden gem... beautiful cave formations and good guides. Value for money. Friendly staff....most definitely worth a visit. Better than Sudwala caves.

This was the highlight of our mpumulanga trip. Got there as they opened and the receptionist helped us as we got there. The guide was a really chilled guy and knew every answer to the questions we threw at him. The cave itself was huge compared to sodwala caves. I would 100% recommend bringing a bright torch to see into the small holes and crannies that the cave has to offer. My favorite part of the whole experience was getting to the crystal cave, which was a little tight of a squeeze but an amazing experience. If you had to choose between sodwala and echo, choose this, you won't regret it.

Very clean area, and easily accessible. The only problem is the gravel road, my car was red in colour after driving. The tour was very informative, i will visit again, this time with a bakkie
