Echo Woods B & B

My husband and I recently stayed at this enchanting B&B. The home is nestled in the pines. Stone steps lead you to the entrance when upon entering you’re engulfed in a warm and cozy environment. We stayed in the Deer Trail room which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The extra large bathroom was modern with a huge shower. There are no words to describe the breakfasts as phenomenal doesn’t seem to cut it. Every morning was a new pleasure to the senses and the palate. The hosts were warm and gracious and made you feel as if you were home.

If I could give this B&B 10 stars I would!|This is definitely THE best B&B we ever stayed in. The enchanted house, full of amazing antiques, wonderfully and tastefully decorated, cozy and very private bedrooms, top notch, softest beds and linen, relaxing bathrooms where you can find anything from a shower cap to bath salts.|And then there are Darlene’s Michelin’s style breakfasts on par with those served at Ritz Carlton but with added extra love.|Darlene and Bob, the proprietors take outmost cars and create a personal relationship with their guests. |This is definitely a rarest gem of a B&B.|Thank you so much, Darlene and Bob, it’s been a huge pleasure to stay at your amazed place and hanging out with you.|A return trip is in order for us.

We had the most relaxed, stress-free stay at Echo Woods B&B. The space was impeccable, the food - outstanding! and the hosts - friendly and warm. Darlene and Bob were incredible. Loved every nook and corner at Echo Woods and we were lucky to have meaningful and memorable conversations with the other guests over breakfast. I would highly recommend this B&B for your next stay in Huntsville.

We have enjoyed 4 stays at Echo Woods and it is definitely a place that we will continue to visit. It is truly a gem in Huntsville and you will not be disappointed if you plan a trip here. Darlene and Bob are the best hosts - attentive and welcoming and the breakfasts are amazing! The rooms and common areas are clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained. There is a lot of space to lounge and relax before or after breakfast or during the day. The location is great as well - close to Huntsville, Algonquin, Arrowhead, etc. Everything about this place is wonderful - you won't regret staying here!

We spent a couple of nights at Echo Woods. There is not a single thing to complain about. The hosts are very friendly and did an excellent job at making our stay is pleasurable as possible. The breakfast is the best I ever enjoyed. Also we had great conversations at breakfast with the hosts and other guests. The house is lovingly furnished and renovated with attention to detail. I 100% recommend it!

From the moment Bob and the dog Boo greeted us, we knew we were in good hands.||Attention to detail in this immaculate B&B made our stay a wonderful experience.||The elaborate and delicious breakfasts lovingly prepared by Darlene kept us going until dinner. When we returned, there were also endless quality games for our amusement.||Our room (The Deer Trail) was spacious with extensive amenities and en suite. It was all that we could hope for.||Can't think of anything that could have been better .... made for a perfect and relaxing trip!!!|

My wife and I have just returned from a three night stay at Echo Woods B & B and have only wonderful things to say about our visit! Everything was impeccable! Outstanding food, accommodation and hospitality from Darleen and her husband Bob. Every detail was first class, starting with their beautiful home and ending with their gourmet breakfasts! We have never eaten so well! Not very often do we ask for recipes but in this case it had to be done. The food was that good. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable and the common lounge areas available for guests were the nicest we have ever seen out of all the B & Bs we have ever stayed in. They have set a new standard in comfort! We would without hesitation recommend Echo Woods to family and friends. Indeed we were already telling friends about it before we had even left. We look forward to our next visit.

We stayed at Echo Woods for 2 nights in June 2023. The house and our room was immaculate and our bathroom had all the amenities that you needed. The breakfast was nothing short of perfect and so filling that it saw you right through to supper time (my husband said that it was the best breakfast he had on our 2 week trip round Canada) We had a very early start one morning as we were visiting Algonquin Provincial Park therefore we couldn't have breakfast so Bob & Darlene made us a lovely packed one to take with us which was lovely. |Thank you Bob & Darlene

I don't know where to begin to describe my love for Echo Woods B&B. The owners Darlene and Bob are the loveliest couple, they define how a B&B experience can be above and beyond. Upon our arrival, we are given a tour of the beautiful house, with its own library, guest living space with a small kitchen fully stocked with teas, and the dining area for breakfast. The house is beautifully decorated and makes the perfect set for taking pictures for our special occasion. We got the Whispering Pines Room which is the largest with a balcony and fireplace. Inside the room: - A mini fridge with milk and cream - A Keurig with complementary coffees, teas and specialty hot chocolates - A Dyson fan & thermostat controlled fireplace - An Apple router (super fast internet) - A TV loaded with Netflix for your chills ;) So first impressions are damn impressive, but it doesn't end there! The washroom is loaded with an extensive array of toiletries that you won't even find free in many luxury hotels, like nail polish remover, deodorant, brand new sleeping eye mask and more! The shower has both a regular handheld shower head and a rainfall one, with temperatures on an individual dial with numbers you can adjust (no hot lava vs icy cold settings here!). You also get your own spa bathrobes, I mean WOW. Breakfast is also a gourmet experience I would have happily paid more than $20 a person for. Darlene is very passionate about cooking and sources the best ingredients for her guests. On both days, we woke up to a 3 course breakfast. For my 2 days I got: 1. Fruit parfait; pear and nut muffins; sausage, scrambled eggs and french toast with an apple chutney 2. Citrus and yogurt plate with pistachios; cranberry scones; mixed herb eggs benny on potato cakes with bacon Everything had a unique spin and you can just tell the love that went into the food. You just feel so spoiled with your own personalized pot of tea or coffee, homemade butters and jams. She also checks with your allergies, dietary restrictions and preferences when you book and after you check in. Also, we didn't have snow tires so we had a lot of trouble going up their sloped driveway but Bob was nice enough to park for us. I would very very strongly recommend them to anyone for a special occasion and can't wait to go back!
