I had a wonderful dining experience at Restaurant Écluse in Bern. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was truly outstanding – attentive without being intrusive. I tried their homemade pasta with summer truffle and Gruyère beurre blanc, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The grilled pike from Lake Biel was another highlight, fresh and beautifully prepared with seasonal accompaniments that showcased local ingredients at their best. Every dish reflected a thoughtful balance of creativity and quality. Combined with excellent wine recommendations and a relaxed, elegant setting, Écluse delivered a memorable meal I would happily repeat.
