Eco Hostal Offenbacher-Hof

Absolutely LOVED this place. Great, charming historic manor on top of the chaotic city below. Great views of the city perched amidst a beautifully landscaped neighborhood with castles and large estates. This is an old school BnB with fantastic staff that are so kind and attentive. The breakfast was exceptional and had many great options, I was looking forward to it every morning when I woke up. I slept so well in the bed as it was so comfortable and the house was nice and quiet despite being booked! Lots of charming plants and features throughout the house. I would recommend staying here to everyone looking for a European style BnB. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Beautiful Victorian mansion, very authentic. 5 min walk to beach and flower clock, very easy to access restaurants and Uber. Clean room and spotless, bed made up daily, breakfast of bread and meat cheese eggs and fruit salad, very kind and thoughtful hosts. Highly rated in lonely planet which is how we found it. Does have some easy to walk up steps to access, not for severe mobility impaired. Not an issue for average person. Easy check in, hosts accommodated and easy to communicate with. Super charming and personal.

Great place. The owner makes you feel really welcome. The Hotel has an unique old German look and feel and is located within 10 minutes from the beach and in the middle of the city centre. In the Hotel is is perfectly quiet though. There is a very diverse and filling breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and modern. Definite recommendation.

I'm so pleased we stayed in vina del mar and booked eco hostel! The location is awesome- on top of a hill overlooking vina del mar- you can see the big red building from quite far away. The house is really quirky and the most interesting building I've stayed in for a while! The views out over the city from the glass conservatory (where breakfast is served , and which you can use in the evening) are wonderful. Everything is very clean and has a slightly vintage feel- don't expect modern minimalism. The breakfasts included lovely coffee, fresh fruit, smoothies and bread. Francisco and Phillipe were both super helpful with travel advice and making arrangements.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff (all family members) were so kind and helpful. They even took some time to assist in planning the rest of out trip in Chile. The rooms were very clean, the food was excellent, and the view of the city was second to none. Thank you so much for making out trip so memorable!

I stayed at Eco-Hostel Offenbacher for 7 nights. The tall house itself is delightful (lots of stairs) with beautiful views in all directions. My room on the top floor was spacious, comfortable and clean. The room had three large windows with lots of light and a great view. The staff was fabulous and provided helpful and very specific information of how to get around, what to see and logistics. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hostel is advertising accommodation on booking and after they confirm the reservation, they write to you on WhatsApp asking you to cancel the reservation for the reason the room is not available anymore. I recommend to choose another hotel/hostel

The hostel is situated quite well at a small hill right next to the city center (5-10 minutes of walking distance). It offers a really nice terrace for all guests.||The host speaks English, Spanish and German fluently (German ancestors). He was very friendly and is very open (talks a lot with you, very helpful, really makes it a nice stay).||Our room was quite dark (probably good during the hot summer, since this means that it is cool).||The bathroom was tidy, but the water pressure was extremely low in the shower. Hence, the time for showering was lengthened quite a bit...||||The breakfast was good, it contained very good, fresh juice, coffee, cheese, ... (standard stuff).
