We went there as a group of four people, two rooms reserved. The room my friend and I stayed was in the very far end of the hotel located in another building. When we first came into the room, there were a lot of bugs. No fan system in the washroom, you have to let the air flow by opening the window but a lot of bugs just right at the window. When I tried to shower, the water was barely warm and it was below 10 degrees out there, so I quickly showered and tried to warm myself in the bed. The heater was on but it wasn't strong enough to warm the room, I was shaking all night even with the blanket. We didn't go to the front desk for this because it was already after midnight, we just wanted to rest after a long day. The next day when we tried to ask for a room change, the staff in front desk understood our difficulties and said there was an empty room we can move to. However, the owner refused to let us move when she was informed about the issue, she tried to fix but it still didn't work. THEN SHE ADVISED US TO SHOWER IN THE OTHER ROOM, how ridiculous?! If we were looking for a shared bathroom then we would have booked a hostel instead of a hotel room. The major reason she didn't want us to change is because all the cost of washing the bed sheets and towels, this is more concern to her than basic needs to the customers. We almost went in an argument and she finally agreed to let us move. The only room she has was a room with 3 twin beds. When we arrived the room, she was so concern which bed we are sleeping at, because she didn't want to wash more than two beddings. I mean, can you partially clean up the room for the next customers? I would concern the cleanliness in this case. In addition to these unpleasant treatment, I'd suggest for a few things if you decide to stay 1. Bring your own body wash and shampoo as they only have a 2 in 1 2. Bring an adaptor for the hair dryer because the plug is in a different shape 3. Buy water instead of refilling water, they charge you by refilling in the pantry 4. Be prepared to hike a bit to the location, not recommended if you have altitude sickness. 5. Prepare bug spray, you will need it when you are in the washroom.

This hotel is an absolute bargain for the experience! We were so grateful for the incredible service we received from all staff. The moment we walked through the door we were offered tea. The staff then give you a tour of the whole place, including the many indoor and outdoor open areas you can sit in to view the city of Cusco below. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each day we were there, utilized the very easy laundry service, and loved the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and hope that if we are able to return to Cusco, we can return!

So so so cute! Really friendly staff absolutely would stay again. This location has breathtaking views nestled above the city center. However, quite a hike to get up there on foot! Expect nice walks down and sketchy Uber rides up the one lane two way roads to get home for the night! Two notes that could probably do for improvement is TV's (super tiny like 20") and also the breakfast could use more hot options. All of the staff is super helpful and accommodating. Keep in mind this is an eco-friendly hotel they charge to fill your water bottles from their purified water and heat is only on specific times of the night (perfectly when it counts). At least the hot showers never fail!

Beautiful, beautiful hotel. Super kind, gracious, and accommodating staff. The rooms are clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The common areas are gorgeous and the view from the balconies is unmatched. There is a also a restaurant on the top where you can get tasty, reasonably priced meals. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and any group.

DO NOT BOOK HERE we booked a room for here back in April on booking.com and now the hotel is no longer open. We had to walk around with all of our luggage for over an hour to find a new hotel. I can’t imagine why they would still be allowing reservations.

The place has so much potential but I cannot say I recommend it. The breakfast was really good and the common areas and garden were super cute. The staff was really nice. However, our room didn't have hot water for the entirety of the first day of our stay, the WiFi didn't reach our room and in any case even if we went in the common areas, it was super slow. The room was super damp which made us uncomfortable because our clothes were always moist. The room was quite loud during the night with dogs barking outside etc. and for example this morning at 4 the bread man was knocking on the door to deliver the bread and no one was opening the door for him. So he kept on knocking until my mom went downstairs and opened the door (???) Maybe it would be have been a really great place if we were given a different room

I stayed here 6 years ago and I chose to stay here again on 2019. I enjoyed staying here and although the walking up to San Blas is always a little breathtaking, is totally worth it. We had the promotion 3+1 night free and it was great. The room given had a small balcony with a view to the well cared indoor garden and we had given a heater for the night (my gf is a cold feet lady, but she felt ok with the room warmth). I really like the breakfast which was on the cafeteria on top of the hotel, with a great view of Cuzco. Walking distance to the plaza is like 10min (and a very pleasant one, San Blas is a cool neighbourhood to be staying around). The bathroom was always clean and we had hot water all day (I'm sorry to read the other review about the lack of hot water, I'd be super annoyed too). My gf really liked the german-style architecture of the room (reminded her of her grandma's house). With all options in Cuzco, this is a good one.
