I stayed for 3 nights here and absolutely loved everything. The amenities are amazing, loved all the decks, seating area facing the ocean, trail/walkway from hotel to the beach, spa pools, and sauna. The rooms are clean and staff are great to respond to anything we need very quickly. The front desk staff, Tiffany and Stacia are amazing. Both of them also provide massages. We got a massage from Tiffany on our patio facing the ocean and it’s one of the best experience here. I like the location because it’s right by the beach and far off the busy touristy side.

Once again, I had an amazing stay at Eco Lodge. The property is quiet, secluded and has an amazing ocean view. It’s so peaceful there, and really allowed for relaxation and rejuvenation. There are plenty of little spots on the property to immerse yourself in.. the pools and loungers, a large day bed swing, a big deck, a sauna, steps down to a gully and the ocean. Lots to explore within the property. The restaurant is excellent, and I’ve frequented it many times even when not staying as a hotel guest. The food has always been fresh and local and veggie driven, and the menu has new options each time I visit. I especially love the homemade breads. The cocktails and wine are also above standard for Barbados. Staff is warm and friendly, and go out of their way to make sure the experience is exceptional. On my most recent stay, the grounds keeper climbed a coconut tree to get me a fresh coconut to enjoy, so special. Eco Lodge is a great escape, and a beautifully designed hotel with special touches throughout. It’s a real treat.

ECO Lifestyle and Lodge is a deeply wonderful place to relax and let go. Located on the beautiful East Coast of Barbados, the Lodge is both simple and sustainable without sacrificing comfort and beauty. The grounds are spectacular, the food is delicious, the staff is warm and professional and the overall experience is second to none. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at ECO and plan on returning regularly to both refresh and recharge our bodies and spirits.

I booked four nights at eco lodge looking for a quiet, relaxing warm getaway from the northeast US. ECO was absolutely amazing. The staff were so warm, helpful and personable. The hotel grounds are gorgeous. As for location, ECO is on the east coast of Barbados, where you will find more country side with nature and quiet, compared to the south and west. I am a huge nature girl and the location of ECO did not disappoint. ECO provides two complimentary bikes to use during the day, which I biked north along the coast to Walkers Reserve. On a different day, A staff employee helped prepare me for a hiking trail next to ECO going south. I was so fulfilled with the beautiful nature and wildlife that was so close by and accessible to ECO. Regarding food, there are a few places close by to go for breakfast, lunch, and Atlantis next store for dinner, but the restaurant at ECO is 11/10. I enjoyed every single meal and the staff is so wonderful. The people of Barbados are so wonderful too. I would absolutely recommend ECO if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed, beautiful, nature, warm weather stay, and I would absolutely stay there again. Thank you ECO staff!

This lodge is such a gem. I definitely wish we would have booked more time here. Everybody was absolutely the friendliest. The had e-bikes for us to use to go up and down the coastline and check out the views and the surfing. When you're done running around the coastline, you can come back for your sundowner drinks and cool off in the salt pools before dinner. The saltwater pools are the perfect temperature and they go great with the fresh coconut water with the custom-made bamboo straw. The lodge is tucked into the hillside and so calming and chill. The room was lovely and had everything we needed, to include a full kitchen. Not that I would ever cook knowing that Richard and his crew were making the meals for the restaurant. Everything was absolutely amazing and you could tell that everyone from the kitchen to the bartenders to the sweet gentleman carving up coconuts, they really enjoyed being there. I also want to say that if you do stay here it's not like you are choosing one side of the island over the other. The lodge makes sure that you get full exposure to the island by taking you on an excursion to a different part of the island each day of the week. If I had it to do again I would stay here and venture out.

*disclaimer* we did not stay the hotel we just went for dinner. One of the best dining experiences on the island for this trip, and so worth the drive from the other side just for the food and service. Menu was so good and so difficult to choose from all the options sounded amazing! We ended up going for the crowd pleasing lasagna and the catch of the night - which was outstanding. The drinks are also soooooooo damn delicious! However the best was saved for last and that was the cinnamon rolls, mind blowing for the back tooth. I have to add the birthday surprise and song was very much appreciated, such great attention to detail. We met the head chef who was so nice and humble, and shared a little insight about the island. Highly recommend and you will not be disappointed. Proper 10/10 venue.

Eco lifestyle and lodge is off the beaten track. It’s situated beautifully near the soup bowl and is surrounded by a number of restaurants within walking distance. The on-site restaurant is excellent with top notch food and cocktails. The room was a bit more rustic than anticipated (we didn’t have hot water throughout the stay, but they did try to rectify the situation, the curtains, bathroom and kitchen had some war and tear) but large and comfortable. The vibe is very chill, quiet and relaxed. It’s a bit out of the way, which is a pro for some and a con for others. I really liked it but my husband felt is lacked sufficient creature comforts (e.g., access to an onsite restaurant open through the day) so it becomes a matter of preference.

If you are thinking about booking a laid back chilled hotel with great food to relax then we’d thoroughly recommend. Rooms are spacious, air con works a treat in the heat and the balcony with hammock is a chilled place to read a book. We stayed in the lower house which felt very private. Food was delicious across all breakfasts and the two dinners we had. Great menu with varied choice of dishes across it. Loved the local flavour of some of the items like the juices at breakfast and the breadfruit gnocci which was a highlight. The team here are really friendly and helpful, transfers were easy to arrange as we opted for no car. Would stay again for sure.
