I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Eco Resort in Chiang Mai and overall, my experience was positive, with a few notable aspects that could use some attention. The rooms in the two-story building at the back of the hotel were spacious and comfortable. However, one improvement I would suggest is adding a larger table for added convenience. While the existing amenities were satisfactory, a bigger table would enhance the overall functionality of the room. The shared bathrooms in the two-story building were well-maintained, though the concept of shared facilities might not be everyone's preference. It's worth considering offering more private options for guests who prioritize individual spaces. The breakfast provided at the resort was decent, offering sausages, eggs, rice, juice, and fruit. However, the lack of variety became noticeable over the course of my stay. It would be beneficial for the resort to change the breakfast menu daily, providing guests with a more diverse culinary experience. One notable drawback was the thin walls in the accommodation, making it easy to hear people walking in the hallway at night. This could be a potential issue for light sleepers and might be something the resort management could address to enhance the overall guest experience. Surprisingly, despite the appearance, the air conditioning in the room worked well and kept the space comfortably cool during the night. Hanging clothes on the balcony proved to be convenient, thanks to the protective strings that prevented them from falling off. The resort's pool was a highlight, offering a spacious and clean area for relaxation. However, it's important to note that the morning cleaning schedule rendered the pool inaccessible during those hours. While cleanliness is crucial, finding a balance to ensure guest access to the pool throughout the day could be considered.

I went for the 25m pool. All just fine. Sun loungers, shady spots (grateful). I had the pool to myself for an hour. Cost 150 baht, no time limit.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Eco resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice and I slept very well. I liked the breakfast. I thought the resort was very beautiful! Because I love all the greenery and wood so much, there are nice places to sit. The only criticisms I have is that in the “Old school” building the walls are very thin, and they charge for the slippers that they apparently reuse, which we were not aware of and don't find very hygienic. But if you have a complaint, it is generally handled very professionally and friendly. I would go back again!

A bit far from the center (30+ min walk), but in a nice area. The rooms are very nice, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the toilets and showers are very iconic. The swimming pool and chilling area are great.

I found all of the staff to be very accommodating and friendly, especially Flukyy who helped me out a lot! It's a lovely leafy atmosphere with well maintained gardens and lawns. The pool is a great size, the price is very good, the only down side to an otherwise great place is the creaky floorboards in "The Dorm" block. I will definitely stay again.

They have DORMs but they are like a resort. People enjoy swimming there. Not located in touristy city center but the atmosphere is so relaxing.

I went here for checking the rooms before my stay. Really good with a clean big pool. It’s also open for public without staying in the property. Fun fact, this was a local kindergarten house where kids learning and playing games. Now if you spot the architecture, room’s design, will look like kids vibes, it’s bcs of its designed for kids. Some buildings name sounds like names for kids. Very interesting! However, My brother and I decided to look up to another places instead. Glad to visit this place, the manager and guide were very friendly. They deserve 10 out of 10.

It's good, but very hostel-y. Close to the central bus station if you need to take a bus out the city.
