Econo Lodge Rivervale

At first glance, it looked rather run down. Damage to alot of outdoor ceilings and old paint. I was greeted with an amazing smile however and the ladies in reception were fantastic, quick and to the point. We made our way to our room, expecting something quite underwhelming but was pleasently surprised as the room was nice, open and bright. The bed was comfortable, very soft and you sink into it. The one bad thing i have to say about it was that we were greeted with 4 very large hard pillows. I tried to sleep with one of them and was met with a sore neck and a headache after a few hours. Apart from the pillow, the room was wonderfull and fairly clean. A good price, a stones throw away from the casino and fast food businesses makes this a great and budget way to spend a few nights so close to some great amenities.

Very basic rooms , bed mattress needs to be flipped. No smoking sign in room but there was a burn mark in bathroom. Car parking is very good .

Didn’t like the new unit. Only one bedside table which was a bit far from the power point. The other side of the bed was right up against the cupboard. Room decor was basic. Would like to have mugs instead of tiny cups. Lighting was dull.

Girls at reception are well mannered. Security guy is polite. Place in snoisy due to the highway. Room smells like cigarettes. Pillow were uncomfortable. Overall is ok for the price and for short stay.

We had an early morning check in and it was so simple with the automated system and assistance from security. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was super comfy and a relief after a long haul flight. The staff when we checked out were lovely and I’d definitely recommend this place for location and convenience.

The room was lovely and clean and the bed was super comfy and a relief after a long haul flight. The Lodge had planned not to serve breakfast on a particular day. I had an early morning meeting and was concerned about starting my day without a meal. To my surprise, Phuntsho from the reception staff noticed my situation and generously offered her own breakfast. It was a thoughtful gesture that truly reflects the spirit of hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, and his kindness made a big difference to my day. Thank you, Phuntsho, for going above and beyond. Your empathy and service are commendable!

The room was not clean, the floor was dirty and stains by table. Air conditioner was set on Heat and was noisy and kept cutting out so not heating up room. Was advised there was a Restaurant but unable to dine there, was able to dine at a small table in Reception surrounded by boxes etc or pay a fee for Room Service, I ordered a meal and paid for Room Service, I received a call from Receptionist to come and collect my order which I advised I had paid for Room Service, the meal arrived 20 minutes later and it was cold. Will never stay again nor will I recommend this Hotel. The Website photos are misleading as well!!!

Great location but cleaning staff very noisy early, had old Asian lady clanging bottles cleaning outside room at 10pm till I went out and told her to stop, then she back cleaning cans n bottles for recycling again at like 6.30/7am till I walked out and glared at her. Not what you expect to be happening at those hours
