For the price and very convenient location to both the airport and the Crown Casino complex (for tour meeting point), we found our 2-night stay very good. Reception staff were warm and friendly, the restaurant meals good value and tasty, and the decor of flowering hanging pot plants gave a homely touch. The double-bed was very comfy, but the single bed was hard. Comfy pillows. It may be old, but it was spotlessly clean. We would stay there again.

Checked into my room to find blood stains on my sheets, went up to the front desk and they said checkout if I have a problem. I asked for a sheet change and was met at my door with a single sheet and it was thrown at me to change myself. I do not recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent hotel reservation.

If you're fond of the unique charm of a room with a strong, distinctive scent, this place might be to your liking. Imagine my surprise when, amidst a moment of privacy, the reception's persistent knocking for a mere signature felt like an overzealous interruption. It was as if they were conducting a raid next door, such was the intensity of their door-pounding. For those seeking the ambiance of an economical Indonesian hotel, this establishment could be a match. It's a pity, though, that its prime location is not utilized to its full potential.

Checked in to find blood stains and dirty sheets, when I asked for a change they threw me a single sheet and said I must have done it.... poor quality "Hotel", I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation. Very unsatisfactory.

Ideal location for getting to the airport. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Air conditioner was ice cold, hot water was hot but pillows quite hard for my comfort. The only drawback is the issue of adequate parking spaces. I had to leave to collect someone from the airport at 9.30pm & before I even left someone was waiting to take the space. As a result I was forced to leave my vehicle on Toorak road for the night.

Absolutely shocking customer service! Booked a room for 2 nights to have it cancelled by the property because we were using a BUSINESS CREDIT CARD! We book a lot of accommodation during the year on this credit card but have never once had it cancelled or been a problem. DEFINITELY DO NOT STAY HERE. THE GREAT EASTERN IS A LOT MORE WELCOMING. We travel to Perth often and recommend hotels to others and this will not be recommend. When I rang to question why my room had been cancelled the girl was rude, so I glady told her that I will book somewhere else instead.

This is very much a "you get what you pay for" motel, as others have said yes the rooms are outdated and worn, yes the air con is loud, and yes the view/scenery is a highway with some construction but it serves well enough if you just need a place to sleep. The staff were nice and they have almost a small grocery stores worth of food and travel items available for purchase. The pool looked well kept but I didn't have time to swim. My room was quiet, except for a kind of loud air con that worked a treat even in 40 degree heat. They are doing some construction which I felt they could have highlighted on their site and in the booking process, when I was there it wasn't an issue but I could certainly imagine it might occasionally be loud as the 'wing' they are replacing is pretty close to the rooms.

Very poor amenities provided for the price charged. Also we were disgusted that we were charged $168 instead of the advertised $145. Won't be going back.
